Where do you buy milk that doesn't expire for 2 months, anyway? The milk I buy usually has an expiration of 1-3 months out. It's that ultra filtered Fairlife stuff and I get it at Target, but they also sell it at at least two of our grocery stores. It's delicious and very rarely goes bad. I have back stock in our garage and the stuff I bought Saturday pretty sure doesn't expire until August. 😂 |

I drank too much last night and we have to go to DH's company picnic today. I'm sure being hungover in the heat will feel amazing! Oh wait. I make poor life choices. Powerade and a banana. |

I'm starting to enjoy my kid being in his toddler bed. He wakes up between 7:30 and 8 and plays happily in his room for about 30 minutes before wanting to go downstairs to get breakfast.

What they do in the filtering process is separate out the components and then put them back together or something, so they control how much of everything goes in I guess. I don't science that well, but a friend of mine of D13 did marketing for them when they started up. fairlife.com/our-products/ |

My body is so sore from all the yard work yesterday. I'm so happy today will be raining all day.
I made ninja turtle waffles for the kids, emptied and filled the dishwasher, made milk cups, Got clothes all laid out for school. And now I sit.

Fairlife chocolate is my favorite, by far. Their white milk though doesn't do it for me. Maybe in cooking or something, but to drink it's all wrong.

I still mix it with the regular milk for the girls but don't feel as guilty letting them have it more than I would normally think acceptable for chocolate milk in general. Neither one of them drinks much milk so it is a way to get some into them. |

We're up here. Cinnamon rolls are in the oven and I just poured myself a cup of iced coffee.
Not sure what we're doing today. We might go to a local state park that has a bunch of trails. Or we might just stay home.

I'm working today. 12 hours of time and a half on a holiday where we wouldn't be doing anything this year anyway. MH will probably bring the girls up for lunch, as long as people don't go getting sick/injuring themselves/having all the babies.

I need to remember for as much of a baker as I am and a pretty decent cook, I cannot make pancakes. They're my nemesis. I tried to make lemon blueberry pancakes and the batter was too thick so I tried to thin it out with water but then I was afraid it would get too thin. My pancakes cook on the outside and then stay raw on the inside so I cook them longer and they get doughy instead of fluffy. So now I'm in a bad mood while my family eats.

I can't drink milk but H and DS love the chocolate milk from a local farm. It's super rich and cream top. It's become really popular here and Wegmans has actually started carrying it because of its success.

Up and exhausted. Little DD didn't barf again, so I think it was a fluke. She and I both have wicked coughs. Maybe she just got a little carried away coughing.
The big DD and I have a surprise play date in a couple hours with a girl from her pre k program who went to a different school for kinder. We never tell them we are meeting up in case someone gets sick or cancels, so the reunion is always a sweet surprise.
I've got to work for school too. The last week is super busy! I'm going to let H sleep in another half an hour and then I'm dying to shower.

It *should* be clear today so we're gonna take ds to a splash pad in a bit. Between the deck building & the rain, I think he has a bit of cabin fever this weekend so he's been a lil wacky to say the least.

I've been at work for 2.5 hours already. I really should finish feeding the fish...
My boyfriend's cat caught a mouse last night at 3:30am and brought it into the bedroom. The mouse was still alive. Cue boyfriend running around trying to catch it to no avail. That was fun to wake up to.

Pancakes and waffles give me the same trouble. I've found the pancake batter has to be thinner than I think it should be. When I make waffles they stick, spread out of the waffle iron, and get floppy when I freeze them. Yesterday H made a batch that was perfect in all of those areas so I've deemed him the official family waffle maker now |
