I'm sitting In my classroom waiting for classes to start (I'm a teacher). I'm really looking forward to the day being done, as I'm meeting one of my closest friends for coffee after work. She lives far away so I haven't seen her in forever. Can't wait!

MH took DD out with him for a bit. And I'm enjoying my coffee and crossword in peace.
When they get back we are going to finish up packing the last odds and ends and doing little stuff like filling nail holes, touch up paint, etc. Fun stuff. At least I won't be dying trying to get it all done myself later this week.

We were supposed to go to a parade and ceremony at the cemetery but it's poring and has a 70% chance of thunderstorms when it's supposed to start so I think we're not going.
Besides lunch with my parents and other family I really just need to get my house in order today.

Oh yes, have been for a few hours. H is cooking up some eggs and bacon and then I think we'll go for a little family drive. It's not very nice or warm out (and will rain later), so we may just end up at SIL's restaurant for a brunch cocktail and then come home and chill for the rest of the day.
I leave for Vegas on Thursday so I need to start thinking about laundry and packing and getting things lined out so everyone survives while I'm away.

I was so looking forward to sleeping in a bit but MH forgot to turn off his alarm. He's snoring away agin but I'm up. Going to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the silence for an hour or so. Then it's hiking time!

We all slept in. DD woke up coughing in the MOTN, so MH gave her some medicine and she finally settled down and is still sleeping. It's raining here, and errands are on the agenda today. I want to start going room by room and prepping for a garage sale.
