mwhip he’s getting a knee replacement, right? His arms still work so he can wipe his own butt. Lol, yes, I think he's thinking the logistics of turning to wipe and pulling on his staples. I'm hoping he said it jokingly...I think he's be more embarassed by the situation than I would.

Has anyone taken the kids to a concert yet? I've been looking for the perfect show for Atticus because he keeps asking about going to one.
The PIXIES just announced a new show and that would be a great first band for him to see live, but the venue is all General Admission, so standing only.
Would you go?

Morning! I've been so tired and just feel like I need break. Unfortunately, I don't see one coming. I'm hoping that maybe in January I can get it together to go away with a friend for a night or 2, but that's a long way off. 3 is proving to be a tough age for me. 95% angel 4% average kid 1% devil. That 1% is wearing thin on me. And I lose my patience more than I should Wow, sorry, that was depressing. Carry on. I'm sorry you're having a rough time. I will say a 95% angel 3 year old sounds amazing though! Yes, but it makes the contrast to when he is the devil that much worse!

We've taken the kids to music festivals quite often (Newport folk with ds) but always during the day. I'd be a little weary about standing only. I wouldn't want him standing on the floor the whole time, he wouldn't be able to see anything, but they're getting to big to carry the whole time 🤔.

My parents have LTCI. My mom tells me about it quite regularly because she doesn't want to "inconvenience " us. She saw what my FIL went through for years taking care of MIL and said she doesn't want to be a burden to us. FFTC # 2: Pete and I already have LTC policies. That's not a good confession! That's smart!

jewels , hopefully he'll turn a corner too. The very beginning of 4 was rough at our house, but about a month later things were significantly better. I think 3 is infinitely worse than 2. And so much damn whining. Cass would rather throw a massive tantrum that seems neverending rather than just tell me what's wrong. Today I lost my shit on him. We had a wonderful morning, and everything was great - we even snuggled in jammies for a while. Then, as we were getting dressed, he lost his mind. He just kept screaming NOOOOOOOOO!!!! and whining and shaking his little legs. I lost it and was just yelling at him - you have a million words! Use them!! It's my least favorite thing, and I, too, find 3 a billion times harder than 2. 2 was a piece of cake comparatively! I'm hoping 4 calms down.

My dad had carpel tunnel surgery on both wrists at the same time. The dr said my mom wouldn't have to help him wipe, but she didn't believe him. She went to his next appointment with him to hear it straight from the doc. She said if it was going to require assistance she was going to send him to a rehabilitation facility. Lol. This is an excellent idea...although I'm sure they'd wonder why my 45 year old husband was there. The two weeks following surgery, a home rehab place will come to our house. H won't be able to let them in because we have steps to the front door, so I will have to go home for those appointments to let them in, then lock up. vino tell me when and where and I'll freaking be there! Can't you leave the door unlocked and have him tell the people to ring the bell and walk in or something? Also, you are a better wife than I am. Hell no to wiping his ass. I would find a way to hire someone just for that task. No no no.

If it is a laid back venue where I thought there would be room for him to move around, not get overwhelmed by the crowd, than yes, I would.

Hi hi.
Works busy so having been posting much. J threw his Croc at Nora and need and grazed her head last night. He immediately started sobbing along with me and N. Hoping he learned his lesson. Ooh boy though. He was mad bc he was in trouble and I was praising her for eating.
He also got trapped in a big Rubbermaid bin at school yesterday. He told his friends he wanted to push his way out and they put the lid on and pushed down, resulting in him being trapped. It sounds like it was a game until suddenly it wasn't, his teacher felt horrid and was so sad about it. The teacher wouldn't tell me who, but j did and it's his best buddies, so I think it was an innocent event, but scares me thinking about bullies😩.
Oh and I found a keychain I love at madewell! I'm making a date to walk to the store tomorrow at lunch and they have monogramming on site! I have been using dealership key rings since my old one broke months and months ago.

Not that we live in a high crime area, but there have been break ins during the day in the last few months, so it isn't a situation either of us would be comfortable with, especially if he's on pain pills and sleeping. My mom has said she could come by as well, she lives 4 minutes from us. So that is an option if I'm worried about work. My boss and HR are both aware of my potential comings and goings, so I think it will be okay, just a PITA to drive the extra miles 3 days a week.

When I had crutches I was able to carry my drink and plate and swing the crutches with my arm pits/sides. He'll figure it out.

You should get a front door lock that you can control with your phone/Alexa.

My arm is sore from my flu shot, which hasn't happened before. I hope I can still get my work outs in tonight. I'm not telling DH. I told him to get his tomorrow and he's a chicken. He'll refuse if I tell him I got sore.

Add me to the sore after flu shot as well. They usually do it in your dominate arm, so I'm right handed, shot in the right arm, so that you work it out faster.

I'm a PW today... cagoldi I wouldn't take E to anything GA with no actual seats. But that's only because she would freak out from all the people and want me to hold her the entire time.

MH wipes standing up. He's doing it wrong, right? He says he's always done it that way. I don't see how it's a productive way to do it. Or am I the one doing it wrong??!!?! ???
