flojo, adorable. Your husband is a wrong wronger who's wrong. Unless you thought they were dumb; then it's you who's wrong. It's only dumb if your DD doesn't take a pacifier. She does, right? (mine didn't so I'm not well versed on them)

You need to tell him that the internet sides with you and he's clearly not an expert on adorable.

I finally came in for some inspiration and man, some of you are good! I'd love to do a family theme. Maybe I'll try to talk. H into something. We tend to keep decorations moderate. TOT in our neighborhood is a bit unusual. It's a smaller new build and one of the guys here hooks a legit haywagon to his four wheeler and totes all the kids around the neighborhood by street. So we get swarmed for about five minutes then that's it. Then we'll jump on the wagon and tag along. Last year DD was a mouse and I was an elephant. H suggested the lazy route of making her a giarrafe since she owns a hoodie that makes her look like one already. We'd just need to color spots on yellow leggings. It's also cover our bases on weather since Halloween is pretty cold around here. I'll be a fucking 37w pregnant mess so I have no clue what to do with myself. I was super pregnant for Halloween last time too and was going to be a hot air balloon and never pulled the trigger. Maybe I'll do that finally. this is a really cute neighborhood tradition! One of my friends was super pregnant last Halloween and she made an adorable gumball machine costume ETA she wore a red hat, made a red skirt, and then put ball pit balls in a clear garbage bag and wore that like a shirt. It would probably get pretty hot but she wore it all night at a party and didn't seem bothered.

We've done family costumes for DD's first couple of Halloweens. But we are doing a DIY home renovation and I'm 10 weeks pregnant and in full morning sickness mode. So she will probably be dressed up by herself this year. Makes me kind of sad, but I just don't have the motivation.

I think I'm also doing firefighter/Dalmatian combo..
I love to make stuffed peppers on halloween. I buy the orange ones and carve them to look like jack o lanterns.

I'm probably going to buy DS a Batman costume this year and it hurts my heart a little. But he'll still get a custom bucket and I will most likely have to make DD's because premade Batgirl/Harley Quinn/Joker (still undecided) costumes are terrible. DH will be Commissioner Gordon sans trench. I still need to figure out my deal. Regardless, I'll probably need a pregnant and newborn option just in case.

My 2 year old changed his mind last night. He now wants to be a cat. So now I have to figure out if I want to be Mina/vampire bride, another cat, or a bat. (Or a spider, suggested by the 5 year old)

I took my son to Target after school because Cartwheel has a 40% off Halloween costumes coupon today. He picked a Beat Bugs (Walter) costume. Other contenders were Branch and a hotdog.

I really wanted to go to target for the 40% off costumes deal but our schedules are going to make that impossible unless I go at 10pm tonight and that's going to be a no for me.
