We aren't supposed to have water in the lab, but I think I'm going to have to start sneaking gulps of it out of my work bag. I can't do this nonsense for another 8 weeks. You definitely should. Hope everything checks out okay and you can go rest.

Braxton Hicks are kicking my ass this afternoon. They are irregular and just feel like Charlie horses, but damn. I was wincing all through a staff meeting.
Need more water

BH make my belly go very tight to where I can see a lump of DD's something. Lasts about 15/20 seconds, no pain whatsoever just very right

I sterilised my breast pump stuff earlier just to give them a clean, then put it all back together.
Turned it on to make sure everything was ok still and it can be quite noisy when it's on its highest setting, DS has been copying that sound all up until he went to bed
"Uuunng uuung uuung uuung" for about 3 hours, it was greeeaat

Mostly just tight, not too painful, although there were a couple that made me breathless almost? I'm in the room and they sent my urine. They have the monitor on me. I will have to stay on my phone though, because this is the one day I forgot to bring my charger with me to work, of course.

Hi from L &D. 👎👎👎 I have been having semi regular contractions all morning. Like 4-6 an hour, enough to warrant a call. And the nurse said to come in. So yay. I mean, I got off work an hour early, so semi yay? I'm 99% sure it is just probably not enough water and being too active. Hope you get the all clear soon.

Yay thatgolfb! Glad you are released! A little late to the padsicle discussion , but I never made them. I took all the ice packs from the hospital- they had ones that were long and thin that were awesome. The nurses had me layer it with a pad and then line the pad with tucks wipes and use the sermon last spray thing. Amazing and I credit a quicker recovery to her. Also, I have no clue what it's like to go into labor as I was induced with DS. I'm a little nervous that I will miss the signs. My only comfort is that I go in once a week now for NST, so hopefully I'll have some warning of if it looks like I'm getting close. But I'm happy to wait on finding out about labor - DH is away this week, so these babies are going to have to stay put!

Good! Go home, put your feet up, and drink a gallon of water! Doing that now! And catching up on my guilty pleasure, Bachelor in Paradise. I have a glorious hour before I have to go get DD and disrupt the quiet.

Contractions that get harder and faster together are the biggest sign lol. I've never had my water break so I can't help you there but the contractions are unmistakable.

Just spent 2 hours at the middle school at a presentation for fall sports/soccer. I love how ds will just get on a bus from school straight to a game. Way less work for me! But god they are so fucking high on themselves 😒

I've been having contractions during work too and I'm sure it's from being active on my feet all day. Hopefully you're doing better.

I'm sure nothing is wrong, but that was exactly my thought! I never had this issue with DD. And I literally googled "what do contractions feel like" this morning because I'm #new. Oh there is a contraction. I think. I have googled that myself, third pregnancy! I have to think about what I'm feeling every time to determine contraction or BH. Like I should know this but post pregnancy amnesia is apparently a real thing, lol.

My BH cramps have subsided, so that's good. I just feel so tired and sore today. H was lecturing me on doing too much and needing to rest more. Well, that's all well and good pal, but we both work full time, we have a TON of stuff to get done at the house, and you don't seem to be moving with a lot of urgency.
Maybe tonight I will just download Hillarys new book and get full on emotional.

I started them at 32w last time and am tempted to ask again because I appreciated feeling validated when I thought I was going crazy having prodromal labor for so many weeks.

I sometimes think I'll miss the "real labour" signs too. I was induced with both.
I've been having Braxton hicks like crazy. I can't even grocery shop. It really sucks.

I took the kids to DQ This evening. I told my son it was to celebrate his first day of going on the bus. In reality, I just wanted a blizzard. Lol

I wonder if I'll make a bunch of false calls too. Six weeks of false labor followed by my water breaking and needing meds over 30+ hours to get me to active labor leaving me wondering.

Time to lock yourself in your room and say "mommy has a headache". I'm debating if I just want to binge-read it all in one day, or pace myself. I haven't looked to see how long it is.
