Hi ladies.
I have to stop booking appointments for early in the morning. I have an appointment in 20 minutes and I can't pee.
Today, I finally get a letter to confirm I'm pregnant so they can hire someone to replace me. Just a little behind over here.

We're hanging out in the dark since the power went off about 30 minutes ago. The kids are entertaining themselves well so far, and I'm going to try to read a book. Gotta save that cell phone battery!

I got up to pee 6 times last night. It's a personal record.
Going to head to Target today to get new soccer stuff for ds1 and maybe some baby clothes cause I can't resist.

Appointment done. They're so fast! Geez. Everything was good. BP fine. I am suddenly back to measuring several weeks ahead because fundal height is the worst way to follow development. Aspirin is amazing. We'll see what happens in three weeks when I go off of it! My doc is cautiously optimistic that I'll go full term and won't have to be induced.
It is so weird to have a normal pregnancy after last time.

paperbagliz how long are you expected to not have power? I hope you're in a safe spot and your little ladies stay put! My friend who lives on the west coast of FL decided to stay put and I was texting him last night. He said it's way worse then he expected. I'm worried for him. The other friends of ours evavuated. Western FL is our 2nd home. We go down 5x a year. Got married on a private island down there. We were looking for a home there just last year. I'm scared for what will become of everything after this storm passes. I'm sure the island we got married on will be completely gone and that makes me sad. I just hope everyone stays safe.

It's back on now, but I expect we'll have it go out again soon. They're predicting the window for heaviest rain/wind from 10-3, which coincides with high tide. I'm 32 weeks today, so I am parked on the sofa until all this weather madness is over. Thanks for checking in! I haven't seen to much out of Florida other than friends checking in on FB. I imagine we'll see some devastation in the coming days.

The results from Thursday's blood draw just came in. My bile salts are at 44.5, normal is under 10. Hopefully, the meds help maintain or lower them.
My internet creeping has taught me that some people go 100+, but that usually means induction is in the very near future. I would reaaaaaaaallllllyyyy like to make it at least to my last shot at 36w. I would be so pissed that we went through all of this insurance nonsense and are paying out the nose for something that became irrelevant. ICP patients are usually induced around 37-38wks, I can live with that. I sound like a huge brat and I hate it.

This baby's head I think is pushing straight on my bladder. Anytime I would roll over in bed, I'd feel like I have to pee. Then nothing. This happened between 6-12 times last night. This along with getting up with my daughter 3 times who all of a sudden doesn't sleep through the night makes for a very exhausting me.

AnnPerkins you do not sound like a brat at all. Those are very valid concerns and I am really sorry you are going through that.

Acid reflux can fuck off. I really need the prilosec to kick in now.
This baby is active, holy crap. And all movement down by my cervix. I think he or she is still head up, but I guess I will find out Wednesday.

I'm so sore and achy today. My joints hurt and I've been having BH and sporadic contractions all day. I really need to make it through mid October for work though. Maybe. Ugh.
I have such a long week, including three late days. I'm tired already.

I feel ya, as you know. I am going to be done with the shots at 34w4d most likely (which coincidentally is the exact day DS1 was born) and I keep telling DS2 he MUST stay inside until then to make this shit worth it. I am keeping my fingers crossed your meds keep working and that baby stays put!

TW 9.11 {Spoiler}I have a family member who I question the judgement of every now again. She borders on sanctimommy at times and it gets to me. Anyway, she posted something today about how she hopes her kids will never know what 9.11 is all about. I'm thinking she means like the sense of loss, devastation, and terror. But I read it like she does not want her kids to be informed. 9.11 is an important (and terrible) day in US history and I know several kids who lost a parent. I'm SO not into brushing that crap under the rug. I think it is our duty as parents to inform our kids and talk through the hard, terrible shit that humans do to one another in an attempt to make the world a better place. Also, it is completely unrealistic to expect that your children will not experience loss or devastation. All we can do is love them and be there for them. Protecting them from life is not fair to them or us.
I really should just hide her Facebook posts for the rest of my pregnancy.

Started the process to get my breast pump! Woo hoo. misskilljoy, I'm glad your appointment went well! AnnPerkins, you are not a brat or sounding bratty at all. thatgolfb, bazi, I've been doing Zantac with a 2am or 3am Tums chaser due to acid reflux. I'm going to ask if there's anything else I can take or for a RX at my appointment tomorrow. I'm over it.

Why won't your doc prescribe you anything thatgolfb? I just told my OB "give me something" and she did. Is there any risks I don't know of maybe?

grumpycat I agree with you. We need to learn from devastation and teach our children coping skills and grief and that sometimes life isn't fair and how to fucking walk through that. Also, she better hold on tight or homeschool them cause they talk about it at school. Sweeping 9/11 under the rug is not something I would even consider doing. That blows my mind.

quinn, I have no idea. I think she wanted me to keep trying Prisolec first, since it is working for me, for now anyway. The Zantac did not work effectively.

Works great for me. I took it last pregnacy too and it's been a godsend. I hope you find something that works well for you. Heartburn really is awful.

grumpycat how old are her kids? I mean, it's not like I'm having serious conversations about terrorism with DD, but she's 3. I also get really irritated at people who need to find a way to make tragedy about them, and 9/11 is the #1 example.

Each time a see a new randoms thread I'm like is it Monday already?!
I was woken up by heart burn at least 4 times last night. I hate it so much. With DS is literally made me sick during the night from it in the last couple of weeks, really hoping it doesn't do it again
