Cuddling DD in bed while she watches tv. I'm going to miss this when #2 arrives.
Plan for the day is the playground this morning, an appointment with my psychologist this afternoon.
My FFFC is I just realized that DD sleeps without a pillow and this is not the norm. She's still in her crib and seems fine without one. 🤷🏼♀️

I could have slept all morning.
Work then OB appointment this afternoon. Hopefully both are uneventful. It's party weekend for DS and I feel like such a slacker compared to last year for his party. I'm doing the least as far as decor and party size and I suddenly feel guilty.

I've already planned to rent a bouncy house and do pizza/chips for food because that entertains and feeds everyone and I get to do the least since I'll have a newborn. I feel like we get a pass considering we are pregnant/with newborns.

Irma has me on edge with the new western turn it's taken (I'm in GA). It now looks like it's going to cover our entire state in some form or fashion. Praying for all those who have been/will be affected. So scary.

chitownsully Happy belated bday to your DD! Did you guys celebrate with Molly's? 😁 The 70 balloons idea sounds really fun too. I might steal that and do it for DS' birthday in March. cougarette Have you decided whether you are staying or leaving for Irma? I hope you and thatgirlrachel aren't affected by it too much. It looks like such an intense storm - I'm worried for my family members in FL. They're mainly on the gulf side (with a few on the Atlantic side too). The storm looks so big, it seems as though both coasts will be affected.

August Blooms, DS doesn't use a pillow either. When are we supposed to give them one? thatgirlrachel, cougarette stay safe! We went to the state fair yesterday and DS didn't nap all day, and i am sore all over from walking basically non-stop from 11-5 with some toddler carrying in there. We are having a lazy day today. I'm making soup this morning to be our dinner, and plan to lounge out with DS in front of the tv.

I only woke up once last night to pee! AND I didn't take Unisom (only Tylenol for this stupid, lingering headache). I'm calling it a win.
I have a busy morning at work then I blocked my calendar this afternoon to finish up prepping for DD's birthday party tomorrow. Taco bar. Hoping it doesn't get too complicated.

Happy Friday everyone. We had a good wrap up to the week here. DS has been really cute and well behaved the past few days, which has been so nice. I kind of just want to freeze time and have him stay this way forever.
He is now really into neck rubs and foot massages. In the morning before school, he will come over, lay on his tummy next to me, take my hand, and put it on the back of his neck...like, get started mom! He only wants the massage for like 5-10 minutes, but it is so adorable. I love it. 😍❤️💕😍.
As for pregnancy stuff - just feeling totally huge and I think I've convinced myself that the baby turned back to head down. I know if he is still breech at my appointment next week, I'll be disappointed. But at least I'll be willfully content and in blissful denial for the next 6 days...😅😂

Is better to be on the eastern side. We'll get lots of rain, but I'm not in a flood area. We'll make our final decision tomorrow I think.

August Blooms DS doesn't care for a pillow either. When he was in the crib he'd just throw it out. Now he leaves them on the bed, but usually sleeps either on the floor (weirdo) or with his feet near the pillows. But he does pile up his blanket under his head.

Of course that's bad news for FL.

Of course that's bad news for FL. The latest tracking I've seen says it should be about Cat 1 by time it gets to GA/northern FL. Miami is really taking one for the team here and it should weaken pretty fast after that. That's assuming it stays on its current course.

thatgirlrachel cougarette Hopefully it, gets downgraded before it hits you guys... that is one scary storm. trinitrotoluene It came up in conversation with other moms. I was the only one with an almost 2.5 yr old who wasn't using one. Ok so I just googled and the answer is 2-3 years old and when they transition to a bed or even older if you want.

I hope you guys stay safe thatgirlrachel and cougarette ! I got a text from our daycare provider at 5:30 this morning that she is feeling under the weather. I knew she didn't feel great yesterday and that her husband had stayed home sick. She said we could bring DS like normal or keep him home and get a comp day. I told her I'd drop him off like normal. DH vetoed that and ran to school to make sub plans. DS was thrilled to see him when he got back home! The catch is that I have to leave work at 2:00 so that DH can go back to school to get ready and leave for the road game 1.5 hours away tonight. Luckily my boss is super laid back and I can work from home until DS wakes from his nap. DH is probably right to veto my decision. I'm almost 37 weeks and risking DS getting exposed, and thus, exposing me and baby, is not worth the risk at this point.

Thank you guys 😊
I'm 34 weeks today so they're hoping to keep him in for at least another 24 + hours. I have to get another steroid shot tomorrow a.m. and I *think* they'll induce after that. Lots of dependant factors though so who knows.
Baby and I are both looking good right now so that's at least going right!

DS may get it anyway but taking e tea precautions close to delivery isn't a bad thing.
