Is this where I confess that I have never done a burpee correctly. I hope this gives me some coordination. I have a lot of trouble with those types of moves also. Just slow it down. Better to do it slower with good form than fast and sloppy. That's what I tell myself anyways. 😉 Ok good this is my plan then.

Finished Day 2! After the fit test, I was worried it would be killer but it was tolerable. Eight different 1 minute exercises with 30 second rest in between. 3 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down. So 19.5 minutes spent working out. Totally doable. I finished too. The only thing that killed me was the mountain climbers but the rest was fine. I actually did better on that plank move than I thought I would. Day 2! Day 2!!!!! the plank hurt my mouse wrist. I couldn't handle balancing on that one side. Otherwise, I was impressed with myself.

Yeah, I have a hard time taking weight loss and workout advice from someone who has never been noticeably out of shape.
I like that she's floppy and how she gets winded and stops, just like I do.

I did day 2 this morning as well—it felt good and I appreciated the 60 on/30 off format. I also decided today that I am not tracking reps for anything other than the fit tests. It is annoying to scramble for a pen when I would much rather grab a drink of water and be ready for the next move.
I felt pretty ridiculous with those surfer jump squats though—totally reinforces why I drag my ass out of bed before the rest of my household so I can get it done in private.
Rounded it out with a 2.5 mile job afterwords. Feeling great so far!

That's how my trainer does it. Either you count reps or you count time, but no need to do both.

I found this workout helped a lot with my burpee form: www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/master-the-burpee-workoutI don't always do it all at the same time...but working in a couple sets of each of the steps here and there helps strengthen those muscles and gives more stability when you have to put it all together in a full burpee.

Do the burpees without jumping while you figure them out, ladies. They're hard and you'll hurt your back doing them wrong. Hold your stomach the whole time, hands under your shoulders, step into a plank without dipping your butt, step back, bend from the waist up, jump straight, and land softly on the balls of your feet. Once you master the plank move, jump in and out of it.

Day 2 done. Didn't wanna do it, still got up and did it. At least it's done til tomorrow.
I forgot the fit test is so much more draining than the actual workout. The hardest part today for me was the dog trying to lay on me.

I mean, her being chubby is basically why this program works for me. I don't feel like shit about myself from the get-go and self sabotage like I do with others. I mean really I should work on not comparing myself to others or some shit but that is just not where I'm at in life. Lol.

Based on that, I'm going to skip her strength workout tomorrow since it's Chest/Shoulders/Tri day with my trainer tomorrow. So I'll sub that for Day 3 and then pick back up on Friday with her Day 4.

But I put it on whatever day I need a rest or I just have to much going on or my kids are jerks and won't let me get to it.

Also---I am doing the pregnancy workouts until I go into labor...I didn't post my scores because that would be confusing. I didn't want people to think I was being a weirdo posting here and not doing shit. Have you done them all along Kiki? As of Week 9/10 it seems like it's just workouts from 4.0. I assume it changes along the way somewhere?

I am tracking reps. For me, I'm competitive. I will work my ass off in a class because I know people are looking. If I workout at home, I might slack off. So I'm tracking my reps to post here to hold myself accountable. So, if anyone wants to post with me, so I'm not a weirdo ... if not, I'll remain a weirdo.
Surfer squat: didn't count because I was too busy trying to figure out if she was going clockwise or counterclockwise. Jump rope: 117 Side to side squat: 19 Rockettes: 56 Wonder Woman: didn't count since she said everyone would be equal. Dead bug: 26 Mountain climbers: 117 Plank touches: 50

My legs are killing me this morning. Literally every time I sit to go to the bathroom I gasp "oh fuck" which I'm sure my coworkers appreciate in the communal bathrooms.
I am heading for 30 minutes on the treadmill right now and will do day 2 once the kids are in bed tonite. Yay, day 2!

Jaysus, Cher. You're about 100 times more fit than I am. I think I did about 10 rockettes because I kept crashing into the wall. A lot of her stuff is my wheelhouse because I did Bootcamps forever. Don't worry, there are plenty of exercises that will make me crash into walls.

leatherpants, no I just started! Cher, I found the membership worth it. Her ab workouts made me want to die. I vomited pretty much every time. I got super strong though.
