Lean cuisines suck. I have had so many snacks today it's ridiculous. I need to bring healthy snacks so I stay out of the office chip cabinet. Those do nothing to fill me up!

We took our new bikes and went for a 5 mile bike ride. I thought I might die at one point going uphill. But I survived. Once upon a time I could easily ride 10 miles. I would like to work up to that again.

We are getting takeout for lunch (probably thai). Rather than going nuts all day I'm really trying to keep my snacks healthy and lower in carbs/fat to makeup for it. I have a tendency to just let the whole day go if I'm going to have one unhealthy thing!

C25k week 3 is so hard. I think I might need to repeat this week and work up to running for 2 minutes at a time. I cant imagine going for more than that and I actually only made it the full 2 minutes on the first cycle.

beckyj2013, Do you have to have your phone with you while you run when you do c25k? Can you repeat days? I'm assuming yes to the second question since you said you were going to repeat week 2.

There is an app that I'm using but. All you really need is a timer/watch to track the time. I dont thonk the app will "count" it if I repeat a week but I really dont think I can do more than the 2 minutes of running so id rather repeat it. When I did the program years ago, before smart phones, I wrote everything down on a sticky note and stuck it to my treadmill. I also remember adding a few incremental steps, like running for a minute 45 seconds rather than 2 minutes.

OK I just popped over to the healthy living board b/c someone ( peachsmama I think) mentioned it the other day. I saw a thread about Noom? So I went to their website and looked at it and at first glance it looks neat. The thread was too long for me to lurk through, anyone know anything about it? Is it good? Of course when I signed up for WW I did the 3 month payment option but honestly I'm not loving it this time. The app does not seem as good as the old one, and I usually love the recipes and food ideas on there but I don't love the way it's laid out anymore.

WW is a great program but it just wasn't going to work for me because they don't count fruits and veggies and that's most of my diet. I'm not joking when I say I could overreat ANYTHING. I will say WW has a more extensive food database and recipe collection. That wasn't of much use to me, but you might find those to be beneficial.

So my smoothie blender broke, but I think I can fix it. I'll have to look at it when I get home. Today is my last night of meat free month, but I'll probably stick with it for the most part. I was surprised I was able to last the whole month, but it showed me that I can actually do things when I put my mind to it.
This month (Sept.) I'm going to try and go without spending money. Not entirely, I obviously have to feed my family and pay bills, but I'm going to stop with the buying Cadence something everywhere I go and buying things she/we don't really need. I'm hoping I can stick with it and teach myself, and Cadence, how to go without ALL the little extras.

What's everyone going to work on this week?
I'm starting C25K tomorrow now that I know I don't really need to avoid anything high impact. Still not supposed to sweat but like, yeah right. Not sure how I could accomplish that.

I think I'm going to go back to no sugar. My anxiety was way better and I slept better when I cut it out of my diet!

MH and I have come up with a plan; he will take the mornings to do what he needs, go to the gym run errands etc and after lunch until supper I'll have time and he'll be with Julia.
So I'm going to book a couple physio appointments a week, try and get to a yoga or pilates class, or do the youtube yoga with Adrienne that everyone raves about. I feel I need to stretch and take some me time.
This is also the last month of JC, I'm hoping to be at my 40lb weight loss goal by Sept 30th! Then it's time to shop for new work clothes since I'm going back Nov 15.

vino, your coworkers are going to be blown away by your new hot bod! Ha! From the time I left when i was super big pregnant with J to the start of work it'll be 64lbs difference. My immediate coworkers will be happy for me the but the floor is a bunch of grumbling, clicky bitches, I doubt anyone will say anything. Which is fine by me, I didn't do it for them😉

Well, we have been riding our bikes every other day doing 5 miles each time. This upcoming week we will increase the distance a bit. Yesterday MH went to scout a trail and see if it would be ok for me and S. It was pretty technical and he busted ass big time. Tore his shirt, and road rash all down his leg and arm. Needless to say, we won't be joining him on that trail any. I like to stay on level ground!
In addition to getting some exercise back in my life I have cut back on soda and starting to make more conscious food choices. It is a start. Hopefully I can stay motivated and stick with it!

I'm going to run another block further this week. Since it's going to be rainy I need to plan ahead and make sure I get my 3-5days in.

I'm going to keep counting calories and getting my morning runs in. I think it's finally starting to pay off. I'm debating trying BBM again. I struggle committing to it.
I've been drinking less wine but mostly because I've been getting a headache after 1 or 2 glasses lately which is not the norm. But it's making me realize how much better I feel when I don't drink all week so it's for the best

Those of you with a Fitbit...do you find it helps keep you accountable? I am thinking of getting the Charge 2.

We're in another round of veggie based meals. I just found a handful of crockpot ones to make this busy week easier. I'm going to try two weeks if no processed sugar and no eating out.
