Got 2 miles in at lunch. 17:10 which is a pretty average pace for me lately.

First day of week 3 ✔ it's kind of sad, but running for 3 straight minutes is the longest I've run in a really long time so I'm pretty proud of myself. Do you guys have recommendations for good running shoes that don't cost a fortune? I'm going to go look for bras and shoes soon so I'll be ready when the running gets longer! Do you have any outlet malls around? Ours has a Nike outlet store and I got some great shoes on sale there. This is a good idea. We have a couple around here. I've been wanting to check out one that opened not too long ago so this would be a good excuse!

I wanted to run in my neighborhood this morning but it was raining. I did 2.5 miles on the treadmill. My next opportunity to get in a run will be Saturday morning.

I had every intention of running before work this morning, but DD woke up at 5am and thought it was a good time for a 45 minute tantrum.
If someone could tag me around 4pm EST and make sure I got out after work that would be swell. I really need to run and will likely be full of excuses by the time I leave work today. I need a swift kick to the ass, please.

I repeated my 22-minute run today. I tried to run it at a bit of a faster pace today, and felt pretty good until about 14 minutes in. Kept it up but it was tough.

Crap cnf , I'm a couple hours off. Did you do your run? No! I was bad. I got home early, sat down to drink a glass of water, and fell asleep sitting up in the chair. Got startled awake by H coming home an hour later. I'm going to blame pregnancy and do my damnedest to get out first thing in the morning. As long as DD doesn't throw another 45 minute tantrum at 5am it should be easy. We did go hiking after though, so I did get something in.

4:45AM and I am off to run. I went 2 miles last night but was hoping to do 6. I love summer but the heat makes running feel so much harder.

Finally let my body slow itself down and got in a comfortable 2 miles early this morning.

Another 2 miles walked on the track with another teacher. I'm over my step goal for the day and it's not even 11am. And now I can go eat my face off at the staff picnic in an hour without feeling guilty. A+ me.

I haven't run since the treadmill debacle last week. I really need to kick my own ass and get back out there.

I'm lazy AF and some how I let my friend chickenonsunday convince me that running a half marathon would be a good idea. I get my ass kicked every time I run, but I'm getting stronger. Yesterday I was strutting around like my sh*t didn't stink because I finally paced under 15 minute miles.

Keep it up! Can't wait for Philly!

I plan on running w6d3 one more day today before moving on to week 7. Yesterday I bought another pair of Asics to add to my rotation. Shit is getting real in here.

Got a quick 1.5 miles in this morning before we had to run some errands. Now H is cooking on the smoker so we're tied to the house all day. Just happy I got something in.

I ended up doing week 7 day 1. I had some trouble in the beginning, my legs felt like lead. So I ended up running much slower than I normally do but still ran 2 miles which is farther than normal.

Another repeat for week 3, but I did it. And the treadmill didn't give me any crap, so I call it a win all around.

Took both dogs for a short run this morning, they are not great running partners as one wants to sprint all the way and the other one wants to stop and smell every blade of grass. But we did it, legs are a little tired. Need to do a longer run tomorrow, hopefully the weather looks better than it has this weekend.

I tried to go yesterday. I am somewhere in the middle of a 10K trainer app and the intervals are 17/1 run/walk splits x3.
I got through one run split while DD threw a massive, massive tantrum in the stroller. I felt great, so I almost pushed through, but she totally threw my concentration.
I'm going to go with just the baby tomorrow and leave her home with SO.

Got in a slow 2 miles in the wind while DD napped today. Her nap was early and short so hopefully she's not a bear I didn't spend the only time she's not a monster running. Or maybe that's a good thing.

I've been so cranky and haven't wanted to run, but skipping is making me crankier, so I forced myself out last night. I did just over 3 miles and feel a lot better today. Except my quads- this neighborhood has too many hills!

Can I go here ? I'm gearing up for my second round of marathon training. My first marathon last year was miserable and I spent some time in the med tent but still somehow I loved it. I had grand plans of entering this season fitter but have basically not run the last month as we got our house up. I'm recommitting and will be Back at 6 days a week with some cross training too. Anyway I did 4 today. Building up to 6 next weekend.

Starting to train tomorrow for a half in the fall. At least I think so. We just moved and I told my co-workers I would come visit them for a weekend and do the local race with them.

I did 10 miles yesterday. My pace was okay and I allowed myself walking breaks because the goal was to run 1:40. The heat and the humidity really slowed me down. I need to figure out a way to hydrate while running. I figure I'll try and run with a water bottle but if that throws off my posture I will look into a water belt.

I haven't run or worked out since Tuesday of last week! It's scary how easy it is to blow it off day after day...first I was hung over/tired from a late night of drinking and music, then my period started and today I just hit snooze. I missed my long run this weekend, so I'm repeating week 7 of my 1/2 marathon training program. I'm trying not to get discouraged at my setback/laziness. This evening, it's going to be in the mid 70's, so I'm committing now that I will go out & run after DD2 goes to bed. I'm even going to text MH now to tell him so I have extra accountability.

chickenonsunday, I'm a waterbelt person myself. BUT pretty much all of my friends use/swear by hydration packs. Like Camelback/Orange Mud/I think even Nathan makes one.
