I watched the second episode last night and I, too, found myself thinking sociopath while they talked about Scott's behaviors and conversations with Amber.
Also, when they were discussing the timeline if events and mentioned that Scott would have had to go into his office and do paperwork/internet research while her body was in his truck, the person (I forget who) wondered who would do that. A sociopath/narcissist would definitely do something like that.

Especially since he called her several times, etc. He obviously knew to do things during that time to make it look as if he had no idea anything was wrong and that he was living life as usual.

I'm sure I am an awful person for laughing at the Modesto Police having to go buy a tape recorder for Amber's phone at Radio Shack.

I'm all into this show. If my DVR fucked up I'd be so pissed. I'm triple checking to be sure.

It did give us a piece of the interviews Scott gave including the first time he said his wife "was" instead of "is." That part and he said he was proud of Amber for her interview and he threw up when she cried in the interview were all 12 minutes.

Watched it. I can't believe that I'm still waffling a little on whether or not he did it.
Logically, I know that there's no good explanation of anyone else who did it, but enough weirdness exists that I hadn't before considered that I'm still strangely unconvinced.
There was a good explanation of the dyed hair and cash and he wasn't, as I had assumed, fleeing to Mexico. He was just living in San Diego. And having a dead body in his boat in broad daylight as he passed all those boats and people. And he would've had her body just chilling in his truck while he was at work on the 24th.

brux has expressed my feelings well Maybe the state's theory of the case was wrong I still think he did it To me there seems there should have been reasonable doubt for the jury

It's so hard to tell what's real. He was guilty in the court of public opinion (and in the minds of law enforcement), so everything was examined in the light of "does this prove he did it?" They wanted it to be him, and found evidence to support it. We haven't even seen the trial part yet, but I can almost guarantee that he didn't get a truly fair trial with all of the publicity surrounding the case.
On the other hand, if he is a true narcissist/sociopath, all of those convenient excuses are easily manufactured lies and forethought for keeping himself out of trouble. I don't doubt for a second that he would have her dead body in his boat, hanging out outside of his work if this were the case. The fact that we would think no one would ever do that is the perfect cover for his timeline.
I also think the show is doing a good job if we're this conflicted. It's like the first season of Serial, or Making of a Murderer. You want to think critically about it and see where everything seems to land at the end.

And he would've had her body just chilling in his truck while he was at work on the 24th. This is mostly where I'm at. Honestly, I'm probably still more on the side of guilty than not, but it's interesting to see the "new" facts (like knowing he wasn't fixing to go to Mexico). I know it was explained away as a slip of the tongue, but I really do think the use of past tense both with amber ("the girl I was married to..") and with Diane sawyer ("she was..") is telling. I also don't understand why he wouldn't want the cops to see him emotional when they told him the bodies were identified- he knew they were suspicious of his lack of emotion!

He either did it or is the unluckiest SOB ever. He buys a boat just before she goes missing, he tells his girlfriend his wife is dead and her body turns up exactly where he was fishing really makes me feel he did it and no one else had motive.
So this episode explains the hair dye sort of. It does not explain how his sister said in his book Scott claimed his hair and beard were dyed by the pool. The episode explains why he had one license (his brother's) and the cash. It does not explain why if Scott was really on the way to play golf that day why no golf clubs were found in his car. It does not explain why he had a map of Amber's workplace printed the day before, why he had Mexican currency, a water filtration set, tent and various camping gear and his sister's Visa card (the mother's gas card I can see having an explanation). The four cell phones I can explain as maybe trying to have phone conversations alone with his attorneys and hiding from police, but the massive list of camping gear and the mask and snorkel make me think he was planning on fleeing.

I definitely teared up hearing the family's statements when Laci's body was found. Especially hearing her brother "talk" to her about always dreaming of watching their kids grow up together:(

I hate even typing this but her limbs were off because she was weighed down, right.. And they basically rotted off? Not because they were cut off?

My understanding is that she was weighed down with chains and they were wrapped around her limbs and her neck. They eventually tightened and cut her limbs and head off. It's so horrible.

The theory was he filled 4 milk cartons I believe with concrete and tied her limbs to them and there was a chain involved to weigh her down. Most likely they either rotted or were eaten away by sea life.

I think they briefly touched on that in the last episode.
