I think a lot of it had to do with how old your oldest is too. S1 was 3.5 when S2 was born. He was potty trained and pretty independent with a lot of thing. It would have been entirely different had he been 2.5 instead. KWIM? So much yes. DD1 was 22 months when DD2 was born. I distinctly remember thinking that it would've been so much easier if we'd waited even just a few more months bc there really is a huge difference in a 22 month old and say a 25 month old. Then we had DD3 when DD2 was 18 months old. Poor planning on my part 😬 There is certainly cons to having a big age gap like us (3.5 yrs). Like trying to find family activities that are age appropriate for both.
