I was so anxious yesterday I felt physically ill. Today I’m just numb. I’m sure the anxiety will pick back up this afternoon.

angelashly I am working from this morning but have in person meetings this afternoon.

I will be drinking as soon as they are done.

I’m second guessing my decision to not schedule anything today besides 2 calls because I can’t sit still

The polling location across from me has had a steady stream of cars all day and friends are saying they have had to wait and never had to before so 🤞🤞🤞

I voted early and looked very longingly at our ranked choice ballot and wishing the rest of the country could vote that way.

So not that my feed is indicative of the whole, but I see way more prior Trump supporters pushing to vote 3rd party or write ins.

That's reassuring. My coworker told me that a lot of his young liberal friends are voting third party and it worried me.

My son's elementary school is having the kids vote on the new logo for the town's dog license as a way to get them involved in voting, so that's really cute and he is VERY excited about voting for it. He has a half day of school so when he gets home, I will take him with me as I vote.

In addition to the election stress, I'm writing a eulogy for my sister who lost her battle to breast cancer. She had really hoped she could hang on long enough to cast her vote for Kamala.

So this morning I wore her sweatshirt when I went to the polls.

I don't want to hijack the thread with a sad announcement so no hairpats please. I believe she is cheering us on from heaven - and if not she's haunting Trump supporters.

I had a lot of nervous, anxious energy this morning, but since I got home from voting I've been good. I guess since it's out of my hands now? I've done all I can, lol.

my weight loss drugs really curtailed my drinking habits, but I'm willing to subject myself to a wine headache tomorrow if it means I can sip wine while staring at CNN tonight with my besties of HIH.
