My house is reasonably clean. So my options are to clean the garage or go over and clean sons apartment/laundry/dishes sonce dil is sick.
That 1st one will just mean dh comes and argues about how he needs to keep whatever I want to throw away from the garage.
So I should go to sons apt but I dont wanna risk getting their cold.
So I'll sit here drinking coffee and clicking on internet too long and not move.

Weird time when I’m voting the same way as the Cheneys. Alyssa F Griffin on the view who worked for pence said it was so weird for her to vote Democrat but our world is not safe with the alternative It’s a crazy time |

I’m so glad DD has the day off. It’s been a good distraction! We’ve gone to lunch, Barnes and Noble, and Starbucks. But now it’s 2:30 and the waiting is killing me! I need to know.

I had a mild freak out and made Tim Walz's hot dish in a fugue state. It's supposed to be dinner, but I just needed something to do with my hands.
And now I'm rewatching that Hallmark Mountie show because I have just given up the pretense of sanity, good decisions, or productivity today.
I have not actively yearned for alcohol in six months, but damn a glass of wine would be nice right now. (I'm fine, I'll just drink diet coke until I explode. I do think remaining sober today is testament to my commitment here).

I was doing good for the most part and then had to go for parent teacher conferences and checking my fb then made me in a funk. So I’m trying to pump myself up with music. Drinking will be after the fire commissioner meeting tonight.

I took DS2 with me to vote. He loved getting his sticker. We spent some time at the playground and now he’s on a bike ride with DH. We will watch all of the election coverage tonight.
