I booked a cleaning lady to come tomorrow afternoon do my last cleaning before baby comes. I've put it off for months, I really should have hired someone to help us out with the cleaning back when I broke my ankle but kept putting it off. It feels so weird to have a stranger come in and clean your shit while you're around doing nothing?? Though at the same time I wouldn't want a stranger in my home without me or MH present either LOL. Aaaanyhoo, I'm excited though a little hesistant, but mostly excited to have a clean proper house again soon! cali did you end up hiring someone to help you with your last cleaning spree as well? I hope so!! We deserve some help and not need to do these things ourselves no more at this point in our PG! (though granted I was tempted to just break it up in daily bites and get it done myself but soon realized I was being ridiculous as I really just can't do this no more.. bump too much in the way, and my heart just acts up too much too.. boo!). |

violajack I'm glad baby is turned!!! muscari I'm waiting impatiently. But I do think baby is going to hang out until September. addymac I hope it works for you. I've been trying that, and it leads to more cramps and contractions for a while and then nothing. But then again it might be helping dilation occur. But I of course have NO IDEA! Lol

muscari I'm waiting impatiently. But I do think baby is going to hang out until September. I worry about the same.. but my MFM said they'd start talking inducing me at 41wks/August 24 (not sure he meant induction on the 24th or start the discussion then.. I hope the former but think the latter lol). I honestly do hope she'll decide to arrive on her own before that though! Now with everything finally falling into place (and scratched off the to-do list) I'm just so impatient! It'll be incredibly weird to suddenly have a baby in the house but I'm just done .. and long to meet my little girl! |

I have my RCS tomorrow morning! My to do list today is a mile long but I'm hoping to enjoy my last day with just my boys 😍 We are also in full view of the eclipse on Monday. The local news said that people are already starting to travel to town to view it. They expect the crowds to be similar to when we won the World Series a few years ago (totally giving my location away 😂) and the city will likely become gridlocked. |

And it helps that I'm in the EU cause I honestly still haven't a clue where you're from haha and am too lazy to google *g* Hopefully you'll be released from the hospital (are you probably going to be in for like 3 days as well or?) and won't have to deal with crazy traffic jams on the way home due to all those eclipse crowds! |

muscari they will keep me for 3 nights so we will likely go home on Saturday, Sunday at the latest. On Monday I will be able to stay home and snuggle my baby and not worry about the crazy people that will be out! Thankfully we don't live right in the middle of where all the craziness will be.

I was up for 4 hours last night with contractions about 10 min apart which slowed to nothing. I didn't think it was the real deal, but they were just annoying enough to keep me awake. I'm exhausted between barely sleeping with those and a cold plus the usual 3rd tri crap sleep/peeing constantly/can't get comfortable.
OB appointment this morning so we'll see where things are at then.

YAY! Glad baby is head down violajack, addymac, Again, I'm so glad I'm not working this summer LOL. Actually my boss called yesterday and wants me to go in for a few hours today but it'll just be the 2 of us. That's so frustrating pennylane, I hope things start progressing! I'm so jealous you are having a cleaning lady come muscari, I keep doing a good clean every Saturday on the house in hopes the baby will come but nothing. I washed the walls 2 months ago and I'm worried I should do it again. I may just wash the baseboards this weekend because they get so freaking dirty! I'm also afraid baby will hold on until September. Midwife says I can induce at 41 weeks OR as late as 41+6 (Oh HELL NO) I hope you enjoy today unicornsparkles, and good luck tomorrow1 |

Midwife says I can induce at 41 weeks OR as late as 41+6 (Oh HELL NO) I put it off for so long, as it feels like a crazy luxurious over-the-top thing to do, hire someone to clean my house.. but I had to be realistic and practical and admit to myself that there was just no way in hell I was going to be able to do it myself. MH is working long shifts/weeks still up until baby comes so I don't really expect him to do it either on top of things! A friend offered to clean for us but ahh no effin' way! She's been great helping out with some things like help paint the nursery and she's taken me on some errands (since I still can't drive myself) but I will NOT let her clean my shit. So, to hire a cleaning lady it is!! In a way I'm sad I can't do it myself cause if it'd help jumpstart labor I'd be so pleased haha! But again, gotte be realistic goes the same for talking long walks, it just isn't possible with my funky ankle still. So this is good practice for patience and what not.. aaargh! Let's keep faith our babies won't hold out till September!! When is your actual EDD again - would 41wks still be in August? |

Too funny, I feel the same way about babygirl, she's just perfectly comfortable in there and has no intention to show her face any time soon. I have like 0 indication that labor is around the corner (except for the blog of plug that I think I lost yesterday, but still, apart from that NO other signs??) |

muscari, I'm having someone come clean the house on Friday. I've been doing a lot of it myself but I get tired so easily and I really want a good deep clean. Jist like you, I was thinking of skipping it and then my SIL said she would come do it when I was in the hospital and I was like no freaking way so I just the bullet and hired someone! Lol! Also I've been seriously trying everything to get this baby out, including sitting on my yoga ball ALL the time and nothing. I'm going for acupuncture in an hour. Maybe that will do something. I haven't lost any part of my mucus plug or anything. I don't want to be induced but I am going to insist on them inducing me if I don't go into labor by my EDD because that's what mfm recommended and because my BP creeping up is making me a nervous wreck. I hope they will listen to me!

elliecat17, That's my issue too. School starts for teachers August 23rd which is my due date so if he isn't here by then I'm going to be one cranky teacher. Plus, my kids are special ed elementary and I really don't want to be there for one or two days then turn them over to a substitute. It'll be so much easier if they start the school year without me because I end up having them for anywhere between 3-7 years so they are all pretty attached to me. Congratulations violajack, ! I hope you don't have to be induced cali, I've also been trying everything to get this baby out (moving furniture, carrying heavy stuff, walking) nothing is working.

Hospital was supposed to call me for my induction between 5am and 10am, so I finally called them around 11:30 and I'm pushed back bc they've been so busy. They think it will be today but most likely after 3pm. It's stormy here. I wonder if there's anything in it about low barometric pressure making people have babies, lol. In any case it doesn't seem to work for me!!

thinkchocolate05 I have been told a shift from high to low barometric pressure can bring on babies. Hasn't worked for me either. cali my friend said 24 hours after acupuncture her baby came so FX for you! king26 yeah. Nothing like throwing a kid off who already struggles. Are you taking 6wks maternity or longer/shorter? violajack yay for a baby!!!! I keep hoping my yoga ball will work, but still nothing. I just have had horrible cramps on and off for 3 days now. Do i just get to look forward to feeling like my period is about to start for the foreseeable future?!?!
