Ah yes, visitors. My FIL decided instead of emptying the dishwasher, he'd just hand wash the dirty ones. They...weren't clean. So I had to empty it and then rewash the other ones. 🙄 Thanks for the help!

Ahh I am sorry to hear your BP was still on the high side today and your Dr decided to go ahead today rather then wait till Wednesday. I know you hoped to be able to wait till then. But hey no early rise Wednesday now 😉 tho maybe baby will have other thoughts haha. Will be thinking of you and good luck! Hope all goes smoothly and enjoy all the baby cuddles! Can't wait to see an update once you feel up to it!! 💛

Yeah I wouldn't mind an hour here or there, but most guys I know can play 4+ hours! It's crazy to me. I think I got jaded early on with my high school boyfriend. Flashbacks to just sitting in his room watching him play. I thought to myself, never again! 😆

*coughs* I used to play for hours on end as well *coughs* for many years in a row *coughs* 😁 I was living on my own most of those years though. My first boyfriend was a true addict too which was not really fun and def didnt help keep us together. Enough is enough.

Although when MH and I had just gotten together we also spent quite some time playing together. Which was fun! I have many good memories of friday evenings online with him and a bunch of friends (many RL friends) and gaming together while hanging out on teamspeak. Good times! Most of us have exchanged our gaming for other more adulty things by now though though many still enjoy the occasional game.

Crap. My BP is high, so I'm sitting in triage on monitors, they do a quick ultrasound to check things, and the baby is sideways! That explains the week of unproductive contractions.

Now they're trying to figure out if they want to try to flip it tonight. I want it out, but I'd really love it if we could get it out through the hole I already have.

violajack ask them to turn it! I believe it can be quite uncomfortable, but if your ob is willing to let you try push I would go for it. Especially since you've been having contractions. Will be watching for updates.

The hospital I'm at was crazy today. And, after discussing it with the nurses we decided it's the impending solar eclipse.

They're discussing now whether to try a version right away. My BP is high and I'm contracting regularly, so I'm pretty sure they're just going to go for it. They've already asked me when the last time I ate was, because they'll want my stomach empty I guess. I'm all for it.

Update: shift change. New doctor wants to double check ultrasound on empty bladder. I had built up a surprising amount of pee in the last hour and a half sitting here.

It worked! Baby is head down! Starting pitocin soon to wedge it's head solidly down in my pelvis so it can't flip again

That and/or the fact mercury (and some other planets too I believe) is in retrograde!?

I am so envious of your impending solar eclipse though. Back in like 1998 I went down to France to experience the full solar eclipse there and it was just so awesome and magical ... I hope to experience it another time. Hadn't I been this pregnant we may have traveled to see it in the US 😎

Is any of you going to be in an area where the eclipse will be full??

@starzia - I'm trying so hard to not say mean things to baby 😂 But come on buddy. I'm not holding my breath though- I've had less contractions this week than last and I'm just convinced I'll need to be induced at 41. However, I am going to make myself have sex w DH tomorrow as that's the only thing my Dr said could help. So dammit I'm doing it lol.

Man it what a great baby day in August 17 land yesterday! We had like 3 babies born in the same day??

I am telling babygirl her edd Thursday will be a beautiful day to get born .. so she is welcome to start things tomorrow evening!

I spent over 24 hours with timetable contractions, went to the hospital yesterday afternoon. Yeah, I was barely 1cm. So we came home, and the contractions fizzled out. My MIL drove here to take care of DS too. I'm so frustrated! Apparently I'm someone who just progresses really slowly, so I am going to walk and use the yoga ball and whatever else to get baby out ASAP. I had the same problem with DS and spent nearly 2 days hooked up on pitocin, so I was hoping things would be quicker this time around. Guess not.

Ahhh so sorry you were barely dilated still even though you had timetable contractions and that the contractions fizzled out again. How frustrating! I hope things pick up again and it wont be such a lenght ordeal as with DS!
