Not only did the Yankees lose, but my daughter's U8 softball team got absolutely destroyed - 30-4 - in their championship game. In one night! Not a good one for the Frankenboom household. Also, fuck the coaches from the other team (softball, that is - Dodger guy seems cool). Oh man. I’m sorry for your daughter!! My DD wants to play softball in high school next year but is also trying to figure out if she has to play in the spring season this year because some of the coaches are freaking looney tunes. |

Also, fuck the coaches from the other team (softball, that is - Dodger guy seems cool). Some youth sports coaches really are in too deep. Our first game this weekend is against a team that caused a physical altercation in the stands last spring. Cant wait 😬 Girl. It's U8 RECREATION softball. Last inning goes unlimited....they scored 20 runs. Our parents said something to their 3rd base coach who replied "it's the last inning, I'm scoring as much as I can." It was vile TBH....the bright spot actually were the girls on the opposing team who literally cheered for our girls throughout the entire game (and vice versa). Apparently this team's coaches have been like this for a couple of seasons. |
