My boss went to see Hans Zimmer live last night and just showed me videos. I am so jealous! I know I would have been in tears through the whole show...

We're having a wet and dreary day. This morning my 3YO said "it's not raining right now, it's just dribbling", and I love that.

I've worked from home the past week and a half but came into the office today. I really miss being able to sneak a nap during down times.
I'm recovery from what I assume might be an IBS flareup caused by stress? I guess I'd better ask the dr. when I have my appt. tomorrow because 3 day long diarrhea once a month for the past three months is cramping my style (and my bowels). The pills that I have are not helping much.

Dd is helping with a blood drive at school.
She has a big fear of speaking to people she doesn’t know and she was so nervous this morning. We are so proud she is trying though.
It’s taking all I have to not go to the school to see how she is doing 😂

DS2 and I have bread baking and a batch of apple butter simmering. It smells like fall in here! We’re packing up a fall themed basket for my grandma this afternoon since she turned 90 today! We will stop over before the soccer game today.
We’ve got senior night for soccer (mine is still a junior) so I’ve got a bunch to do before the game. I’m in charge of the memory bags for the seniors and we added some treats too! I can’t believe mine will be a senior next year- time really flies!

We've got senior year going at full speed here. I just ordered the graduation regalia and some momentos. Then tomorrow we're heading out towards angelashly 's area for a college visit. Then next week is homecoming. They're going with a group of friends which seems so much more fun then the lame date they had last year. We've got 3 additional college visits lined up in the coming weeks. So thankful there are so many near by. I'm really hoping they attend (well my college) onw nearby and live at home still. At least for a little while longer to save $$$ I want to be nosy |

C took her first middle school test last week and got a 29/30 and I'm so freaking proud of her. She really struggles with test taking because she typically just flies through the questions so she can be done, so I was nervous. When she called to tell me, the first thing I thought was how proud her dad would have been and the second thing I thought was that I couldn't wait for her to call and tell my dad.  ❤️❤️❤️ |

So DD1s new favorite thing to cook herself is fancy grilled cheese, but she also has a side of baked apples with it. She cuts them up into pieces, puts them in a small saucepan with a little water and sprinkles sugar and cinnamon on it. She lets it cook in the pan until they are soft enough to eat.
Between that and caramel apple dip, we go through so many apples a week.
