I finally got a hold of a few masons to get quotes for much needed work on our foundation and now we're waiting for numbers. I'm expecting a high number but hopefully within range of what we can swing, but my gosh everything is so expensive.

That sounds amazing. Our forecast is very UN fall like. 70s-90s and I'm ready for some crispness in the air!
Random- we are flying to KC for my nephew's wedding and were told early on we were not invited to the rehearsal dinner. I was happy to hear that bc a college BFF lives there and I haven't seen her in years so we made plans. Well, plans changed and we're now invited and expected to attend the rehearsal and I'm super annoyed. It's not something I really want to attend, and I was really looking forward to a fun evening with my friend. Boooo

I just ordered 2 5' skeletons from Walmart and cannot wait to start decorating for Halloween. Unfortunately, in order to that my mom and I need to finish unpacking all of their stuff from the move so I can access my storage shelves. That project is on the agenda this weekend.

We have Halloween out, per DS’s request. It’s still solidly in the 80s though. At least my office is cold so I can wear sweaters and pretend it’s fall.

I have lots of feels right now. My sister is losing her battle to cancer. Fuck cancer.
I don't need hairpats, just need to express it somewhere. Currently curled up on my couch with my dogs and thankful that my manager is empathetic enough to tell me to work from home.
Will either stay on this couch the rest of the day or rage clean after work - it's a toss-up.

bearfootzcontinued, god damnit I'm sorry to hear that and hope it can possibly turn around I made DS watch Hocus Pocus today because I'm bringing him to Salem on Sunday. I have lived 1.5 hours away my whole life and never been so it's finally time. I will be beating the Oct crowds because fuck that. Fall is the best here so I'm def looking forward to hikes, outdoor breweries, apple picking, etc.

When we signed up for Hulu several years ago my H set it up. It is all under his email and everything. I finally realized this week he had signed up for the Hulu, ESPN and Disney bundle and either didn’t realize it or just didn’t tell me. Prior to getting Hulu we already had a Disney+ account I had set up and we were using. Which means for YEARS we’ve been paying for two Disney subscriptions. Wtf. I cancelled my account today, the day before it was going to charge me.

The team my team works for is expanding by a lot so we are busy so now we have a business plan case being worked on to possibly add more people to our team.

Well it was only 94 yesterday so fall is in the air lol.
But it goes back up to 105 next week but hopefully that's just the last hot for a long while.
Trying to figure out what I need for Halloween and we'll except for new guest bath or kitchen hand towels I'm probably not going to bother with much.
Gonna start grabbing 4 yr old grandson more often cause he's stir crazy at the apartment.

Debating if I should list everything separtely
or should I just try to gather everything together to do a yard sale.
listing things separately means i can do a little at a time
but yard sale meals it's over an done with faster.

My fiance's oldest son was in a motorcycle accident today, hit a deer. He lost consciousness and they found a brain bleed, plus he broke his collarbone. He lives a state over. Naturally SO is freaking out and trying to figure out what he can do and I'm having to be very there's nothing we can do right now.

Today is the last day of my boss' two week vacation, during which I was in charge. Really it hasn't been too bad but I am more than happy to welcome her back on Monday. I've been so tired all week, and kiddo is home sick today. I am looking forward to a quiet weekend but H says he wants to move furniture?? Hoping I can put him off.

Okay we actually have real fall weather and it is nice. Big kid has a soccer game and then I unexpectedly get some time to myself this weekend while H takes the kids up to see the grandparents. I have some painting to get done at home and a bit of work but am looking forward to a quiet house to myself.
