Like I can't wear a thong if I'm wearing sweats or working out. But I HATE the feeling of full underwear with jeans/jean shorts. And I can't wear a thong when I'm on my period, it just doesn't work for me

A branch fell into our backyard from a huge tree in our behind neighbors yard. I've been telling MH it's been worrying me and not letting the kids play in that corner just in case. I feel vindicated now. Also, I want to leave it there as "proof" until we can talk to that neighbor cuz I feel like there's more that look like they will fall.
But I don't actually know the general rules on how that works? Because the branches are growing over our yard. I guess I should google and see.
The whole tree seems like a problem honestly and I feel like it should get cut down but the actual tree isn't on our property

icedcoffee I believe you are within your rights to trim off anything that is over your property line, but of course the etiquette is still to discuss with your neighbors.

That's basically what Google said too. It just sucks cuz the tree is massive and we'd probably have to call in a professional to cut it, which I really don't want to have to pay for. Ugh. Kinda hoping they'd just agree to cut the whole thing down (it looks like it's slowly dying) but I guess we won't know if we don't ask lol

I am embarrassed that I once tried out the whale tail 2000s look in the mirror before deciding it wasn’t for me.

I’m willing to pay the $600 to send my older kids to art camp for a week because I can’t stand them around the house arguing with each other and having pillow fights.

I love thongs and basically wear them exclusively. I find them comfortable. 100%. I find any underwear except thongs to be uncomfortable. Same. Bombas things are the best.

IME, you are allowed to trim anything over your property/fence line. If the tree is diseased or you have concerns, you would notify the property owner in writing. If they do nothing and the tree causes damage to your property you might have recourse. As of now, the branch in your yard is your responsibility. I would take pictures, cut it up and get rid of it. It's less expensive to take out the whole tree than it is to just trim it (mostly)

I am pretty new to being a homeowner (we bought our house 2.5 years ago) and I confess we just cleaned the dryer vents and the filter in the washing machine for the first time. It was....really gross.

I am a Never Thong, unapologetically If I really care about a line from my underwear, the vanishing edge briefs from Auden are great. Otherwise, yes, I'm wearing underwear, you can tell, buy a billboard about it. Unless I'm at the gyn in which case I have to hide them under my clothes, my bag, maybe throw a sheet over the chair because no one can know I wore underwear here.

I read this as “the gym” not “the gyn” and I was so confused as to why you’d be ashamed for people to know you wore underwear to the gym and even more confused as to why your gym had sheets for hiding underwear.

Today I was at the mini golf course with my family. H and DS were on the course while DD was with me in the arcade, pushing all the buttons. It was loud and the lights were very flashy, giving me a headache. It also was in a building where you can tell people smoked in there for 40 years, and that was messing with my sinuses. It was sensory overload, and I needed a minute outside.
So I took DD outside by the mini golf, just to give myself a break. Well, DD wanted to be inside, and as a six year old, she was going to do what she wanted no matter what I said. So she ran back inside as I tried the mom voice with her, but she ignored me and shut the door behind her. I got to the door a couple of seconds after her, but the door wouldn’t open for me and I watched as DD wondered away into a crowded arcade. I panicked and started knocking so hard on the door that my knuckles hurt for an hour after, but no one could hear me or was ignoring the crazy lady pounding on the door, until one older man opened it for me. I ran inside and grabbed DD, and I was shaking and my anxiety was through the roof. The whole thing was maybe 30 seconds, but DD has special needs and has to be supervised at all times.
The confession is that I am pretty sure nothing was wrong with the door. It didn’t lock. I don’t know what happened when I tried it, but I sat and watched multiple people go through the door with no problems. It was definitely a me thing. I am really grateful to that man for opening the door, but I am sure I looked crazy or like a total idiot.

Truth be told, they weren't diagnosing ADHD for many in the 80s and 90s. Not just girls. I know for me at work, it took off in the early 2K's. Everyone had ADHD. Then it went to ODD then bipolar until the next trend (I am only speaking of what I am seeing at work across several states).

I have never ever worried or even wondered about a panty line. I am a strong woman in that category. I couldn't care less. Never missed out on anything in life due to a panty line.
