Today was so nice out I’m glad I saved my bike for today. 1 hr super slow ride so the guys came with me. Then to the driving range and finally dog beach. Hope you all had a lovely day no matter what you did 💕

happy mothers day to all!
I ran intervals for just over 4 miles on saturday and it was exactly what i needed. yesterday was a quick 30 min walk with some jogs thrown in thanks to the dog sprinting off in a direction to chase dragon flies.
i finally feel healthy. and i have to start watching what i eat for reals. my bloodwork needs some pampering so it's time to buckle down. I prepped grilled chicken and zucchini for lunches this week. and when i arrived to work I remembered we have a luncheon of a taco bar today. looks like i will be eating modified tacos...
tonight is run club and my intention is to do the 4 miles at 2:2 intervals.

30 minute low impact and PT for me this morning. Last day of my anti inflammatory so we’ll see how I’m feeling off of it in a couple days.

Hope everyone had a happy Mother's Day! I spent mine in the blazing, dusty heat of a high school XC MTB meet, but a lot of the kids and dads there went out of their way to make it a nice Mother's Day all the same. One team all wore pink tutus, one team got all the moms paper crowns, our team brought a bunch of balloons and put them up all over our team tents. And the kids had a good race day!
I managed to do all HCOF stacks last week except for yesterday's. Back at it today and maybe some running classes mixed in with cycling. Hopefully Thursday night's trail run.

Deload week and as odd as it felt, initially, not to sling heavy dumbbells around, it's kind of a nice change of pace.
- 10 min Standing Yoga with Ross - 20 min Bodyweight Strength with Andy - 30 min Walk with Joslyn and Trent Alexander-Arnold - 10 min Full Body Stretch with Ben
Elsewhere, I see that RK may be teasing a new 3-day split. I would absolutely love that.

Happy belated Mother's Day! Ran 10 miles Saturday with the trail group. I did not prepare well and runner's math had me like well I just go out 3 w/ them and run back by myself, then it was like, well the 4 mile point is a better place to turn around which became I might as well go the full 5 out. The weather was perfect too. Started Mother's Day with a 2.5 mile run early, followed by some blueberry puff ( www.the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/blueberry-croissant-puff/) and a mimosa. The rest of the day was pretty chill and included playing an extended game of hide and seek in the house with the girl. As far as today, I got in 2 miles early and having been doing a bunch of walking around work.

Hello.
I did not check in yesterday. I had a difficult time sleeping Sunday night, plus DS was up crying inconsolably multiple times. I was wrecked. I did not get up Monday, which means no workout because my Mondays are bananas. I have to rush out of school at dismissal to pick up DS and get him to speech, rush home and get the girls off the bus, rush back to get him from speech, then rush DD2 off to gymnastics. By then it's 5pm and I just can't. So a 5 minute core and a 30 minute slow flow was it for me.
This morning I got up. I'm really behind on miles, so I ran and picked up 5.25 miles.
30 minute hip hop run with Robin 20 minute interval run with Kirsten 5 minute core with Olivia 5 minute stretch with Olivia
Yoga tonight. I need to focus my workouts this week on making up lost miles in both running and cycling.

I was able to get in just under 4.5 miles yesterday. Intervals were great and we ran up the hills instead of down for extra work.
This morning I got up and did BBOD The Job, w1d4 maybe. Idk. I started it 2 weeks ago but got sick. I am getting back to it.
Food is planned as well: B: 2 eggs with cheese and avocado S: cottage cheese with blueberries L: grilled chicken with grilled zuchinni S: hard boiled eggs D: taco tuesday for girls night, i need to look at the menu and see what i can get that is a healthy option.

Squeaked by yesterday with a 10 min bodyweight strength and two walks.
Today I took a 30 min outdoor Mother’s Day walk + run. A little muggy and a lot of pollen.
Pool opens tomorrow, so the nice weather can come back any time now!

Sleep has been crap so then I gravitate towards junk food. But on the plus side I’ve been to the gym two times this month already (I haven’t done a full workout in ages).

Ugh. DD had a nightmare last night and woke me up at 2am. My allergies are horrible and it took me so long to get back to sleep. I did a 30 minute Ally Love Feel Good ride.
MH is away and DD and I have big plans to order Mexican tonight. Looking forward to a low key night and early bedtime.

I did Kendall’s 60 minute pop punk ride yesterday and it did not disappoint!
Selena’s arms and shoulders class from the HCOF stack was insane. Like, truly “to the point of exhaustion” my arms did not work at the end.
In office day for me today so probably a shorter cardio class before strength stack.

Swim this morning. Ladder of 100’s increasing zone. Not my fave, not the worst.
This afternoon was deadlift and row. The lifting program I’m doing is specifically for people who have an upcoming race so this block is nice and short and sweet (like 7 RPE x2 for main set lifts 😎) I also FINALLLLY went back up in weight on deadlifts (not my max or PR)

Took it easy this weekend since family was here to celebrate my birthday (it's not til next week) and Mother's Day. I got up and did 20 minutes of yoga live on Monday, and went for a walk. Today, I did a 30 minute pilates, 30 minute mother's day walk+run (all as a run/jog), and a 25 minute walk.

I’m off this week so yesterday fit in a full body strength with Logan, which featured a lot of lunges and squats and felt great until I realized I had run club in the evening and we did hill sprints (dafuq). So now today my legs don’t really work.
DS1 was up sick all night so nothing today besides yard work. FX everyone is healthy now.

Today was sprint intervals 🥵 it was the first zone 5 in a while and I have no clue how that feels because I was really going too fast to sustain it. Anyway. Glad that’s over for today…
Quads are already sore so focusing on recovery the rest of today. Water water water + protein.
MH is driving to get our camper today and I’m trying to play it cool (because he goes all out whenever he sees me green light anything) but I’m super pumped!

PT and a 30 minute PZ with Denis. Lots of new exercises for PT. My ankle is not in pain, but I can tell my foot is working in new ways. I feel like I’m making progress! I also enjoyed the PZ format: 4 3 minute intervals that each included 1 minute zone 4, one minute zone 5, one minute zone 4. 2 minute recovery in zone 1 in between each interval.

Howdy.
I did not get up this morning. I felt great at 4am, but decided I give no fucks and slept instead. Then I gave all the fucks after I woke up because I'm a competitive, obsessive type A monster. This time of year just does me in.
I did stuff.
At school: 30 minute full body strength with Adrian 5 minute core with Logan
After school: 20 minute 90s ride with Mila 5 minute stretch with Emma
I may or may not do yoga tonight. It'll be a game time decision. It was cake day at school and it was all I ate all day until having some pasta just now. My tummy is not pleased.

Evening!
I think I skipped posting yesterday but I did the HCOTF stuff. Today I did a 30 min full body with Rebecca, 10 min core with Robin, and 10 min lower legs with Logan. I've been trying to hit the lower legs workouts on occasion b/c I feel like that part of my legs, calves and such, are a little neglected.
B - sauteed tofu, TJ's hashbrown L - leftover buffalo chicken stuffed sweet potato D - Skinnytaste gnocchi soup S - probably pretzels, strawberries, and cottage cheese. When I dip a pretzel in cottage cheese and put a strawberry on top its sort of strawberry pretzel salad adjacent? lol.

Morning.
I have a dentist appointment, not until 2pm, but I took the whole day because I wanted a day to myself.
I ran outside today. I had a 75 minute running stack, but it's cool and overcast and misty and I couldn't convince myself to go to the basement. I planned to run 7-8 miles, but I cut it short and only did 5.25. My legs were sore from lifting heavier yesterday and I couldn't seem to settle my breathing. I thought after a mile or two I'd loosen up and find a rhythm, but alas, I did not, so I shortened my route. Still glad I got outside.
Followed it up with an easy 5 minute core and a 10 minute stretch. I'll foam roll and do yoga tonight.
Keeping my food tight if I can.

15 minute pilates, 10 minute glutes and legs (remarkably effective for 10 minutes!), and then I have a half hour walk planned, followed by meeting a friend for a short hike.

Haven't taken a break on my S/T/TH Pilates journey in a while, kinda looking forward to getting my period this weekend just so I have the excuse to take Sunday off lol. There is still one move that I absolutely cannot even remotely do. Usually I can do at least 1-2 reps of a hard item and then slowly build my way up to the 10-15 but I don't know how to build up when I can't even do one rep of this move.

Good morning. I was going to try to get out on the trail this evening with the group, but it rained overnight and it's supposed to be overcast and cold all day, so now I'm not sure. I guess we'll see.
Otherwise I have some yoga and stretching in my stack, and Matty's most recent walk and talk.
Yesterday I was able to do Kendall's live 30 minute pop ride for West Coast Wednesdays.
