Lunchtime workout checked off.
- 5 min Pre-Run Warm Up with Kirsten - 35 min W10/D1 N2R - this was the first of three 20-minute straight running workouts and I do not know why, when I've run upwards of 9 miles without stopping, that this one intimidated me. I guess because it was the longest running stretch I've done in months. But I did it, even though it was already mid-70s and super humid and I felt like a sweaty slug. I know that getting up earlier is in my near-future if I want to run in cooler temps. - 10 min Focus Flow: For Runners with Kristin

Hi, I’m way behind! I have family visiting and haven’t had time to run since last Saturday. I finally did 6km tonight and it felt not like death so hopefully I didn’t undo too much training right before the half in 2 weeks 😬

30 minute intervals and arms with Tunde and a post ride stretch with Hannah C. My IT band has been bothering me, so I’m going to give my hips some extra love tonight. A yoga session may be in order.

I’m still sore from Monday so I just did arms and core this morning. Now off to Vegas for absolutely zero intentional movement and a whole lot of food and drinks 🎉

Let see… Yesterday two quick walks, 10 min bodyweight strength and 10 min arms and shoulders. Missed the call for light weights and used 8lbs and now my arms are useless.
Today, hit a 20 day streak and a 30 min PR in Emma’s 90s rock ride. Followed by 5 min stretch.

Today was a 45 min zone 2 run which felt awful. It was super duper slow with lots of walking. Done.

I’ve been MIA but I’ve actually had a pretty good workout week for the first time in awhile. I’ve been doing some HCOTF for strength and runs and rides for cardio. I really have been having running with my foster dog. She is a great running partner and it’s so rewarding to wear her out as she is the energizer bunny.
Yesterday was a rest day other than a dog walk. Today was:
30 min outdoor run with Wilpers 10 min core with RK 10 min glutes and legs strength with Ben 10 min lower body stretch with Hannah

Hello.
I never checked in yesterday. My cavity filling has left me in a lot of pain. I'm going to end up needing a root canal 😭 I felt fine enough to get up yesterday morning, but the idea of 9k steps of high impact on my throbbing tooth sounded awful, so I did not run. I ended up only doing a 5 minute core as my only intentional movement. We had to pick up the camper and drop it off at our camping spot for the weekend in the pouring rain, then we came home because we don't have everything we need to camp because the trailer was getting new breaks until yesterday afternoon.
Anyways, I worked out this morning. We're about to get pick up groceries and head back out to our campground for the rest of the weekend.
30 minute interval run with Jess Sims Extra 10 run with Wilpers 10 minute arms and shoulders with RK 5 minute core with Emma 5 minute stretch with Camila
That's it for me today with the exception of walking or leisurely bike riding.

No workout yesterday except a meditation to get my dot and some needed relaxation for all the running around I did.
I’m in Nashville IN through tomorrow afternoon and had a steamy run (96% humidity 🥵) through the town bright and early this morning.
- W10/D2 N2R - 5 min Post-Run Stretch with Mariana - 10 min Focus Flow: Lower Body with Kristin - 10 min Focus Flow: Healthy Back with Kristin

I took 3 days off due to weather and stress. i had a local 5k this morning, it's so local, it goes thru my neighborhood and I can walk to the start line. My kids ran with me. A was 4th in her age group, C was 8th in his age group and I was 10th in mine. It was so hot and steamy but we all ran thru all teh sprinklers that were on to cool off. Then we made a fun trip to the pediatrician as C is covered from head to toe in a rash. so hello 5th disease. Seems when you get the rash you've already been thru it all. And we are supposed to limit his time in the sun. in may. in florida. the doc and i had a good laugh at that. happy saturday! cnf, your tooth dilemma sucks. i am sorry, i hope you have something to help with the pain.

RunsforWineandCarbs poor kid! How long are you supposed to limit for? Nice one hour walk through the trails with MH today. This weather has me bleh and then we ate bar food for lunch so I’m just glad I got out and moving today.

It was too chilly for an early ride today so I had to go after DS’s soccer game (he made two AWESOME saves) and by then it was HOT. Just over 12 miles on the bike and then a 20 min run. It was hard but I kept the “first 8 min fast” as prescribed but then did a LOT of walking the last 12 min, even so my HR was high zone 2 🥵😅
We are now camping in our new camper for the first time and I’m so glad we chose somewhere super close to home.
Supposed to do an open water swim tomorrow but lol nope. Water is still 53 degrees. So we’ll see.

coldcoffee, i think until the rash clears up. but the fun part of this virus is the rash can flare up again for the next few months and guess what causes flare ups? sunlight. lol. kids gonna live in long sleeve spf shirts for the next few months. today i got up and took brodie for just over 2 miles of walking. I have meal planned and laundry is going and I am about to go to the store. Then i get to meal prep and make a ziti for some friends, they are a bit older and the wife is having hand surgery, so i am dropping off food. Happy Sunday.

It's always the right answer since we tend to forget stuff or just need time to refresh our memories every year on doing all the things campers require. Hope you guys had fun!

cnf haha yes we were 15 min-ish away too. We LOVE the setup/takedown time (MH timed us at 12 min as opposed to 45+ it used to take). The pollen last night was HORRENDOUS. We definitely had fun but also have a list of items we need to buy/pack for future trips. And now my dad is delivering us chipotle 😎 It’s hotter this weekend than early forecasts predicted, tomorrow is supposed to be the same so I’m thinking I’ll leave swimming tomorrow, scope out the water temp and if it’s still too cold I have more pool availability. Which reminds me I should make sure my wetsuit still fits 😬

I'd be shocked if that water is over 55F right now. My kids on the other hand would still happily get in. Monsters.

Yesterday I was up early to bring DD to Coney Island to do the kids 1 mile race that accompanies the Brooklyn Half. She did great! And then we stayed and cheered for runners in their final 400 meters of the race, right on the boardwalk. Ate French fries and gelato. DD rode on a bunch of rides and I did one with the her (the Phoenix roller coaster). Then we headed home. It was pretty exhausting!
Of course, I missed my usual Saturday morning Wilpers ride, though I knew what to expect because my cousin was live texting updates about it to me. It was a focus on zone 5. I did it this morning. The 4 minute intervals in zone 5 are no joke. Thankfully, it was only a 45 minute ride though, so over pretty quickly. I followed it with a 10 minute lower body focused stretch.

Run club tonight and I will have brodie so we shall see how the intervals go. he's still more of a puppy on an adventure then a running partner. This also mean I will have a great upper body workout in just with brodie. lol
Food is prepped and planned B: egg with canadian bacon / cottage cheese with blueberries S: deli ham with cream cheese roll up L: chipotle grilled chicken over lettuce, grilled corn, tomato, onions avo, with LLM avocado cilantro dressing S: more deli ham roll ups D: instant pot buffalo chicken bites with celery and fruit.

I woke up at like 4 am Saturday with head cold, so I skipped out on the trail group run. I did 6 miles yesterday followed by grocery shopping and I was absolutely beat after that, ended up taking a nap around lunchtime. The nap worked and I got a lot of ingredient prep done for the week, so dinners should be easy to throw together. Last night we had pho (using store-bought broth), so I have that for lunch today.

Howdy.
DS was puking all night, so I am once again, home unexpectedly. It works out though because I knew I was going to be getting a day of root canal and would likely have to bail out of work early, so whatever. I just got said root canal and the left side of my cheek and tongue feel way too big for my mouth. Ugh. My first cavity in like 20 years and my first root canal ever and I'm cranky about it.
Anyways, I did things today.
30 minute EDM run with Hannah 20 minute pop punk run with Logan 10 minute core with Logan 5 minute stretch with Mariana
Yoga tonight. My calves were tight and achy from half assing stretching and skipping yoga for days on end. My first run workout suffered because of this. So slow. I'm also still way behind on miles because I suck. But I did the things. So there.

Got out for my first open water swim this year! It was COOOOLLLD. I was supposed to go 25 min but only did 15 because it was too cold to submerge my head and swimming with your head out that long is exhausting. Wetsuit is definitely tighter this year but still good to go. 🙌🏻

Hi!! I'm still here, doing my thing lol. HCOTF and whatever else I feel like doing plus trying to get in lots of walking. The end of the school year is killing me. DS is done tomorrow but I'm not until June 4 (and I work most of summer but its not as stressful without students there!)
Traveling the first 3 days this week for work so I had a Perfect bar, cottage cheese, and banana for breakfast. Leftover pasta for lunch when I got home, and bruschetta chicken sandwiches for dinner.
20 min G/L with Logan and 10 min core with Andy. Short walk plus planting flowers in the evening got me above 10K steps at least.

Yesterday - 10 min bodyweight strength and two walks. Just short of closing my rings.
Today - 10 min warmup walk, 20 min classic rock run, 5 min cooldown walk.
The sun is finally out and I feel 10000% better
