Got out to the pool today. I very much did not want to.
Anyway it was a dumb 400-300-200-100 all zone 4 workout and it’s done and I’m faster than last year. Harumph and take that. 😤

That sucks, cnf, I hope she surprises everyone with how quickly she heals! Glad she is taking it in stride. You definitely should not be too hard on yourself about it, these things happen!

I am also bummed about Ross leaving Peloton. I love the way he talks about bio-mechanics in his classes, and his dad jokes. He's probably my favorite yoga instructor. I'm really glad he is leaving on his own terms and I wish him nothing but the best - maybe he'll boomerang back to Peloton eventually!

I’m the odd one out - I never take Ross classes. He moves way too fast and talks way too much for me.
But people (here and elsewhere on the internet) seem genuinely bummed so I’m sad to seem him go.

Did a 30 minute full body strength with Logan in my backyard. The weather is perfect this morning! I'm also going to take a walk in a bit. Happy birthday jaygee! I'm jealous your new pup wants to run, I'm looking forward to when we have a dog that can do that with me again!

I'm not taking it hard! She tripped over a pickleball, she did this to herself, lol. We're having a good time laughing about her foot and her boot.

Morning.
30 minute tread boot camp with Marcel M 20 minute interval run with Kirsten 5 minute core with Callie 5 minute stretch with Camila
Yoga tonight.
That was Marcel's first English class and it was awesome! I really love all the German instructors. They're all delightful gems. More English classes from the German crew, please, peloton! My legs were super happy to run today too. I should have done a longer second run.

I was short on time yesterday so just squeezed in a 10 min core with RK and 10 min lower body strength with Callie.
Today I had an 8 am hair appointment so I got in a mile walk with the dogs and a 20 min tabata with Hannah F before I went. I won’t do anything else sweaty today so I can maintain my hair.

I’m still on the struggle bus. Very little motivation over here but trying to show up anyway. Don’t want to do a brick today so I did tomorrrow’s 40 min zone 2 instead. It’s super windy but warm/humid.
Kept it well in zone 2, went 2.6 miles, and I’m done and go me.

This morning was my first longer run with the run clinic and coach guy is reluctant to let me push myself so I went with the group that ended up doing about 8k (5miles) in an hour. It was nice to meet people and was for sure conversational pace so that’s good.

Morning.
45 minute pro cyclist ride with CVV 10 minute core with Olivia 5 minute stretch with Emma
Yoga tonight because I bailed on it last night, because lazy. Loved that ride, CVV is so fun. That core class is miserable. It's from 12/9/20. I remember when it first dropped all of us talking about how hard it was, more on the quads than the core, but both were on fire by the end. Please, everyone go retake it and tell me I'm not wrong, lol.
The girls have swimming this morning (DD2 does, DD1 will be sitting on the deck watching). Then we're having a girls afternoon with lunch out and they both want second holes, so eer piercing on the docket too. Should be fun 😊

I woke up this morning on day two of a headache that I just cannot shake. It came on after CrossFit yesterday morning, so at least I got that done. Today may end up having to be a rest day, or maybe a walk. Of course it’s also pouring the rain, so the walk would be on the treadmill. We’ll see if I can find the motivation.
Both kids had friends spend the night last night, and I am just ready for my house back. Actually, that could be part of the reason for my ongoing headache. 😂

Brick today. It wasn’t quite as nice out as I was hoping but it wasn’t miserable. By this time last year I already had 6 outdoor rides. Anyway 54 minute bike followed by 15 min zone 2 walk/jog.

Weather was bomb today and we were up and done with DS’s baseball by 10am. So I had time for a longer workout today. I needed it.
45 min intervals run with Wilpers 10 min cool down run with Becs 10 min cool down walk with Hosky (I didn’t plan my distance correctly for a loop. lol) 5 min lower body stretch with Andy
I took the little foster dog with me and she did great again. She finally started slowing down to my pace around mile 3. lol.
Next two days in have to go in for work for the first time in forever so it will be very whatever happens, happens.

hey there. i am so glad last week is over. i barely hung on between C and the flu, A's 11th bday and bday dinner on Friday, to the field trip and softball & baseball tournament. Oh and I finally went to a walk in because I felt like shit thru all of that and I have a severe sinus infection. that was killing me slowly.
Hoping I can turn this week around. Will get in an actual run before playoff game 3 for C.
that's all i have planned.

Got 7.8 miles on the trail Saturday morning and 4.2 road miles Sunday. Met mh at the gym at the end of that run to get a strength workout in (and a ride home to avoid a couple of hills lol). The rest of Sunday included convincing myself I don't actually need an outdoor griddle (during our sam's run), taking the kid to the playground (aka me reading on the picnic blanket), cleaning the caked-on layer of pollen off the patio furniture, and grilling some burgers for dinner.

Good morning! Back to normal life after spending the weekend in Carmel, womp womp. The marathon went well, I think! Easy first half, LOTS of rolling hills throughout, gorgeous views, and a lot of walk+run toward the end. Finished with 4:31 and I’m totally happy with that. Bonus, I’m not sore at all today! Which is lucky because my house has a lot of stairs. Don’t mind my insane baby hairs, it was windy ok?

I finished Dig Deeper on Saturday. I would like to go another round but I think that program did a lot to irritate my arm issues. I'm going to run the L4/LM hybrid for a round and see what happens.

God I'm already over today and this week. I overslept and didn't get to run, DS starts speech this afternoon, DD2 will start gymnastics, and the amount of driving backs and forth to ALL THE PLACES already has me tired out. I've had a headache since I woke up too. I've also been having a VERY snarky email fight with the CSE chairperson of my kid's district about scheduling DS speech, so that's been real fun.
I did a 30 minute full body strength and a 5 minute core during my midmorning prep period, so I do feel somewhat better.

That was a nice sweat fest with the air not working that well, even with the basement cooler. Woof.
