I’m starting it!
What are we carrying for every day? I keep my Neverfull in the car but generally find myself carrying my Lulu Belt Bag into places. But sometimes I want to be cuter and I feel like I need something easy to carry somewhere inbetween lululemon and Louis Vuitton.

My everyday is a Marc Jacobs Snapshot DTM but I don't carry much these days. It annoys me that I can't fit my phone inside but that just goes in a pocket.

Right now my everyday is my DeMellier New York bucket bag. My Neverfull and Marc Jacobs tote are used often for day trips with kids (snacks and other stuff required) but I’m on the hunt for something sleeker and more polished. I’m eyeing the Polene Neuf but would love some recs.

I got this in October for nice outings and things, but I've been using it ever since as a grab and go bag without the gold chain:  It's the Wallet on a Chain Ivy and the leather strap is adjustable with snaps so it can be crossbody or shoulder. And then for fancy things I take the leather strap off and just use the chain. It fits my phone and has built in card slots. Also fits cash, an inhaler, and some lipstick/chapstick, and the car keys. So basically perfect. And then I toss the whole thing in a bigger bag when needed. |

I likely have a bonus coming in, or alternatively a new job with a significant pay bump (interview on Monday). With either money I intend to buy myself a very nice everyday bag.    These are my considerations so far. Any other everyday black bag to consider? |

A couple weeks ago, I got a Naghedi St. Barths Mini Tote in Oceania (a dark blue green color).
It’s been a really nice daily bag. And I’ve gotten compliments on it in the wild.

kittyriot my Cuyana tote is a great everyday bag. It has held up so well and you can order accessories (straps, organizers, pouches) to go with it.

I need something new. I've been using a no-name brown leather mini backpack that I added a fun guitar strap to but the corners aren't looking great. I'm considering the Portland Leather Goods butterfly bucket bag in meadow. I'll probably be happy with the almost perfect rather than full price, right??

Kids are 14 and 9 so I don’t need to carry stuff for them. But I don’t know what I really even need to bring in the parks. The whole trip is stressing me out.

I just bought this Coach belt bag (to use as a crossbody because it’s BIG!) for when we go to my kiddo’s hockey tournaments, games, etc. My lulu is basically bursting at the seams so it was time to trade up. |

I usually carry a KAVU rope bag which carries a ton but that was with DS (6 and younger) and his epipens too. I like a backpack or crossbody style because it stays put. But I think a small version would be fine and I’ll probably take a smaller size next time we go. |

Now that it’s winter I’m mostly carrying my polene número un, but I got a Madewell mini transport bag for $40 around the holidays sales in a poppy red and that’s been fun. I got a lot of mileage out of my orla kiely duo cross body last summer. I’ll definitely use that again. It juuuust fit everything I needed.

I take a cheap backpack that dries quickly if it gets wet. Belt bag would be good too if you have one that dries quickly. |

Perfect size, not too big but holds all the things. I will always recommend Poppy Barley forever and ever amen. My daily right now is a black 4-in-1 Wristlet but I have my eye on the Day to Night and the Essentials too. (And the tall Toujours boot) |

I have bought a LOT and the only thing I ever returned was due to the extremely potent chemical smell (it was Lagoon), although lots of people say it goes away if you air it out for a while outside/in a garage. If you want premium I can send you a referral code that will get you 30% off instead of the usual 25%. Full disclosure, I think I would get a $20 credit if you use it but don't let that sway your decision. I love AP stuff |

I am eyeing a Polene bag or Senreve Maestra sometime this year. I seriously considered a Navy Seneeve Maestra Midi during their recent sale but the timing wasn't right
Lately I've been carrying my Orox Merces Saddle. I got MH a wallet last year and it's developed a beautiful patina. I can't wait for my bag to look like that (they're both navy)
