I hate June. My uncle died Tuesday. Tomorrow is the 5 year anniversary of of dad's death. Fuck June. So I bought 3 bags. Cheap ones from Amazon, but they all look super cute. Will review once here. The Epcot ball looking one is the only I have seen in person and I literally stopped someone to ask where they got that bag. I went to Italy for a wedding this week, and I got a bag in Siena at Cuoieria Fiorentina. Loved their color options!  |

lucilleaustero, so much love to you. In a similar vein, I finally got the payout for my H's little life insurance policy, so I've decided to "treat" myself to a new purse. Dooney and Bourke is having a summer sale so I have 8 different bags on their way to me so I can pick my favorite.

Does anyone have the rubber/waterproof Bogg bag (or a dupe)? I actually have my eye on the simple modern getaway bag for the pool and beach. It is the same idea as Bogg, but I like the handles better. www.simplemodern.com/products/getaway-bag-large-1I would love to get feedback from anyone who has a bag like this. Do you use it a lot? Is it really worth the hype? |

PandaWatch, I have a large Bogg bag, had it a few years now. We use it when we go to the pool or beach, which is pretty often in the summer. I like that it stands up and items on the bottom won't get wet from the pool deck. Worth the hype? Idk, they can get heavy, but obviously it's been working well for us.

I currently have the Coach Pebbled Light Yellow Nubuck Leather Small Hobo Handbag, and I have loved it. I’m looking for something slightly bigger with a little more structure. Green is my favorite color.
I’d like to stay under $300.

Quince has expanded their bag market- they have some Polene dupes! (though their trapeze bag doesn't seem to have quite the same drape but for $99...) Also some Cuyana, Dagne Dover, and other recognizable silhouettes. I bought this black bag (can you believe I do not own a black purse or bag at ALL?!) with rakuten rewards and their $20 coupon, so how could I say no? I like how it is just a little bigger but not a huge cross body, with separated compartments in the middle, though maybe a little dressier than I fell at the moment, but seems great for fall and winter? puppies!, what about the quince bag I posted about? www.quince.com/women/italian-leather-top-handle-small-satchel It is similar in size to the quince bag you posted but didn't like because of the chain. The one I have has 3 interior compartments, and I can fit a small wallet, sunglasses, phone, keys, and hand sanitizer. It all just fits and it very soft. I think it meets all your requirements.

I love this one, but it's too small. Actually it's just not quite the right shape - if it were longer but less tall/deep, it would probably work. And sadly I had the regular size one several years ago but it was actually too big. I realize I'm being impossible about this!! I, for one, am always happy when people are posting bags in this thread for me to ogle. If you are too picky for anything to be right, it just means more links to pretty things 😛 |

I'm amazed and jealous of those that can carry a small bag only. I just ordered and received the Kate Spade Dumpling in an effort to downsize my purse (often a tote style, always big). It barely fits my wallet, phone, and keys, let alone all the extras I usually have in my bag like packs of Kleenex, mints, cough drops, my emergency medicine. And typing this out, I realize the real problem is I'm basically 80 years old. |

I’ve found with myself that, the bigger the bag, the more junk I tote around with me daily.
I don’t actually need all that stuff every single day.
So with a smaller purse, I rotate stuff in and out depending on my actual needs that day. And I like this method rather than carrying a black hole of “just in case” items.

puppies! I generally carry a phone, card case, lip balm, sunglasses, tissues, a small bottle of Advil, mints, keys. My go-to bag is my Coach Millie bucket 22. It’s the bag I always gravitate to because it’s not very big, but fits everything I need. It’s organized into three sections, so I can split things up by category. The closure is magnetic, and it opens up enough on top to easily reach into. Cons: the middle pocket isn’t attached to the bottom of the bag, so things you put in the side areas slide back and forth. It’s also not sold by Coach anymore, but there are quite a few on other sites.
