I finished Fourth Wing and loved it! I checked my hold on Iron Flame that I've gotten and pushed out twice. It was set to drop to me again after 12/5, so I moved it up to asap. Hopefully I get a copy soon.
Guess I'll finish Jingle Wars tonight. My hold on So This Is Christmas also came in, so I've got that one in the pike too.

I’ve almost finished The Good Part, Sophie Cousen’s newest. It’s a bit different, not exactly a romcom. It’s about finding yourself around 40 with kids and how the heck you get there- how would your younger self handle your life now? Extremely poignant and a reflection I didn’t know I needed. I stayed up late listening last night.

It’s taking like 6 months now for new releases.

I finished the serpent and the wings of night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s like fourth wing but with vampires. I’m starting the second book now.

I read 7 books in November. My favorites were 11/22/63 and Iron Flame. I just finished 11/22/63 on the 30th and I am annoyed that i waited so long to read it. I just started the miniseries last night. I really hate James Franco as the lead because he is not at all what I pictured, but oh well.

This is the year I started getting back into regular reading so I had initially set a goal of 24 books for the year. I am at 96 now, so lol, yes I'm going to demolish that goal. I should easily be able to get to 100 by the end of this month, I think.

I finished Empire of Storms, it definitely got better in the last half and in true SJM fashion the last 100 pages were a wild ride.

I’d set a reading goal of 50 books this year. I’m now at 100, discovering audio books has definitely helped boost that

In November I read The Child Finder, The Quiet Tenant and The Vaster Wilds.
I just started 90s Bitch (on audio) and My Darling Girl.

November was a good month overall: A Nobleman's Guide to Seducing a Scoundrel Take My Hand Seven Year Slip Starter Villain
I should finish True Love Experiment today (I'm dragging it out because I love it), and hope to finish Romantic Comedy before the loan expires.
I have some other physical books from the library but am really thinking I might just turn to holiday reads for the month. In addition to the Catherine Walsh Christmas books that I bought on Cyber Monday, I also ordered Once Upon a December, which is set in Milwaukee.

My goal for the year was 20 books and I'm at 47 right now so that makes me happy. Somehow, I've been getting up earlier and making time to read with a cup of coffee every morning. But I really need to add exercise to my routine and saw a friend say that she gets reading done while at the gym so this morning I tried to read while on my walking pad which resulted in me almost falling on my face and wrenching my back. Guess I'll have to rethink that idea while I sit on the couch with a heating pad and read over lunch break.

November apparently was a disassociation month, I finished 29 books.
Highlights were: Starling House, Alix E Harrow & Belladonna, Adalyn Grace
I am at 194/200 and only have two left for my challenges: Six Deaths of the Saint, Alix E Harrow & something set in Scotland (which I have a KU romance set in a castle).

I finished 12 in November! My initial 2023 goal was 50 and I’m sitting at 89. I’m going to try my hardest to hit 100.

I haven't checked in here in a while. I read 3 books in November: Love by Night - SK Williams Harmony - Whitney Hanson Project Hail Mary - Andy Weir
The first 2 are poetry books which I have gotten much more into this year.
I have a lot of books on the go right now: On our best behavior A Little Life (I am loving it so much. I'm on part 3 and haven't cried so either I am extremely emotionally devoid or the sad parts are still coming) Really Good Actually (I am finding this very annoying but I'm at 75% so I will press on) Ready Player Two - Reading with my work pals and enjoying it. Twisted Love - halfway through and enjoy it for what it is lol
Oh and I'm at 51/52 on my challenge.

Was a bit of a twist on a Hallmark type romance book, so pretty predictable, but also really cute.

This is on my tbr. Did you read From Blood and Ash? No i haven’t. I have read the first 3 or 4 books of the series. It’s a fantasy series kind of like Acotar or Throne of glass but without the Fae aspect. I don’t want to give anything away in case you read it but I really liked the books I have read so far.

November was super slow for me and December probably will be, too. I read 4 in November and the only one I really liked was Snowed In. But I’m at 103 books for the year with a goal of 100 so that’s good.
The only new book in December on my list is Here in the Dark by Alexis Soloski.
I’m reading The September House now and really enjoying it. It’s so weird but in a great way.

I finished Snowed In and thought it was super cute. Not great but a good holiday read. Now I’m reading Holiday Romance and my hold for The Good Part finally came in! All I had to do was complain I guess, lol.

Has anyone read Mad Honey? I’ve had it sitting on my TBR for a while, and I was just notified that I won the book during a giveaway. It looks like it has mixed reviews.

I’m reading Snowed In and it’s a fun one. My only complaint is that it’s so easy to read and get lost in that I’ve stayed up way too late reading the last few nights and I’m so tired in the mornings 😂
