It's December...What?! How was your November? What were your favorite books and what books are you looking forward to this month? Do you feel good about your reading in 2023?

My 2023 goal was 150 and I've read 172 so far so I met that goal a couple of months ago.
The rest of the year I'll probably be sticking to mostly holiday reads. I still need to look and see what books come out this month.

November wasn’t great and December will probably not be great either but it’s ok. I’ll be doing mostly easier books this month.
Don’t forget to write Iron flame Places we’ve been Dirty thirty Faking Christmas
I’m at 64/75 so I will most likely not make it this year, but I’ll be giving myself grace on that because I did some longer books this year that take longer and different genres.

Happy December! I read 12 books this month and I'm at 118 books for the year. My goal was 100, so I've long since surpassed it.
The Happy Ever After Playlist Yours Truly Life's Too Short My Favorite Half Night Stand A Long Time Coming Remarkably Bright Creatures Strictly Business Mrs. Nash's Ashes Four Found Dead Holiday Romance Snowed In Faking Under The Mistletoe
I'm currently 46% into Fourth Wing and I'm ALL IN. I just want to reeeeaaadddd! I'm 76% into Jingle Wars and it's very meh. I'll likely finish it after Fourth Wing at this point. It's not super well written, but whatever.

November was ok for me. I read more than usual thanks to taking a week off and being home alone but nothing was a stand out 5 star read. I finished 10 books: Wretched - 2 stars. (this is book 3 in a series of stand alones, i liked the first 2 waaay more) Heir of Fire (ToG 3) - 4 stars The Last Devil to Die (Thursday Murder Club 4) - 4 stars Malibu Rising - 4 stars Iron Flame - 4 stars Queen of Shadows (ToG 5) - 4 stars Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow - 3 stars The Witch Collector - 3 stars One Dark Window - 4 stars The Graham Effect - 3 stars
One Dark Window was probable the most surprising for me, I didn't really know what to expect and it started out super weird, but by the end i was all in.
I have so many books waiting to be read now since all my holds came in at once, i've had to put my kindle in airplane mode and i fear losing them all. They will probably take the whole of December to get through, i'm most looking forward to Six of Crows, Devine Rivals, and From Blood and Ash.

My November was ok. My favorite was brazen and the beast and my least favorite was iron flame, mostly because I was expecting more.
I’m looking forward to the serpent and the wings of night. Reviews look good.
I’m at 89 so far for 2023, so I’m going to try for an even hundred.

I read 11 in December.
Dirty Thirty 3⭐️ Uncle Toms Cabin 1⭐️ Chenneville 4⭐️ The Weight of Blood 3⭐️ The Joy Luck Club 3.5⭐️ Class 4⭐️ The Change 4.5⭐️ Don Quixote 3⭐️ Savvy 4⭐️ Watchers 4.5⭐️ Artifice (web comic) 4.5⭐️
I am also 70% through Iron Flame. So between that and Don Quixote I feel like I’ve read 20 books.
December will be mostly wrapping up some book challenges. I think I need to read a cook book cover to cover and knock out a couple older books that fit specific categories.

I completely forgot it’s December 1st. Wow. 😂 I read 9 books in November. My faves were Holiday Romance and The Wishing Game. I haven’t been much in the reading mood. I am at 111 books for the year, and I am 3 books behind to meet my goal of 125. I’m not really going to push myself, although I may peruse Goodreads’ list of short books. I am currently reading 3 different holiday books on different platforms: Wreck The Halls (hardback), Three Holidays and a Wedding (audio), and Holiday Star (Kindle).

I’m at 92/101 books! I should make it to my goal. I enjoyed all my books this month. Savage Inequalities was a reread, I did audio this time. Pandemic was also a reread. LOVED Holiday Romance and Remind Me to Hate You Later.

PopSugar released their reading challenge today. Some repeats again but I’m glad they left out the longest book on your TBR prompt 😂

2023 was the first year I ever gave myself a goal. I decided to aim low with 12 books (one per month). I almost doubled that so far with 22 books! I’m super proud of myself given the lack of time I have and how slow I am.

Iron Flame, 4 stars The Emotional Lives of Teenagers (highly recommend for anyone with a kid 11 and up or so)
Not the best reading month but November and December are always just madness. I’m currently reading Snowed In. It’s good but is taking awhile because I’m falling asleep immediately at night.
So far I’m at 58 books read for the year. I may make it to 60 before the end of the year. Will be far below the 75 from last year!

I only finished two books last month, Camp Zero which I mentioned before and the Girl with the louding Voice by Abi Daré, which was a great read.
I started hut didn't finish the Britney book. I just couldn't get through it.
U currently have the court of mist and fury on deck as well as The Men by Sandra Newman.
I also want to read some light holiday fiction, anything good you've enjoyed lately?

November was a quieter month for me, but I’m still on track of my goal of 150 books but if it happens it’s going to come in just under the wire. I decided on that number because I hit 157 last year with relative ease. I didn’t want to stretch myself overly. So I didn’t grow the goal. Now I’m regretting my life choices. I think I’m going to go back down to 100 next year. I need some reading grace.

I'm at 96 of 100 books and have a few I'm reading at the moment so I'll definitely hit my challenge total and I think I'm happy to keep it 100 next year. Especially as I want to make more of an effort to every month read at least one book that's been nominated or won a literary award. In November I read 10 books. My favorites were definitely The September House and The Blacktongue Thief.

I only finished Iron Flame and Check & Mate in November.
My goodreads goal was 20 for the year. I am at 19. But that doesn’t include any of my re-reads or anything I have listened to because all but one are re-reads. It also doesn’t include most of the novel length fanfictions I read. I’m going to finish Tower of Dawn to complete my goal. I am more than halfway through.
After I am done with Tower of Dawn I am either going to move on to Kingdom of Ash or start Hurricane Wars. I haven’t decided yet.

I just finished Girl in Pieces and just….wow. I need to sit with it for awhile.
All kinds of CW- self-harm, addiction. But it was really powerful and well worth the read.
