They did also bring up the spoliation instructions to the jury. If the jury believes that TS had video footage and didn't preserve it, the jury is to believe that TS lost the footage because it wasn't in his favor. It will be interesting to hear if GP's attorneys address this in closing arguments. So far it's just been TS's attorney coughing up a lung every sentence and letting us know he's just a simple country attorney.

I think he has a low chance of winning at this point, he hasn't really proven anything in court, but I still believe GP had more to do with what happened than she claims. I do believe he was injured but not to the extent he claims. I'm also not sure he should get 300k, but still think he should have been compensated for medical expenses occurring after the collision Idk. It seemed to be a cluster fuck all around But paid by whom? Any why? If he can’t prove it was her fault, why should she have to pay? Because she’s rich? Because we don’t like her? I didnt say she should have to pay if he doesn't win. I was just ruminating on the situation as a whole

We've been talking about how TS is suing her for $300k. His attorneys are requesting closer to $3MM for pain/suffering/long term care, etc. Some calculation of 16 hours/day, 365 days/year, for 10 years, at something like $33/hour.

I read an interview with a ski instructor who said it was very unlikely for Sanderson’s ski tips to fly up in the air and land on his face (as testified) if GP hit him from behind. It’s like the perm in Legally Blonde for outdoorsy people. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Have you guys seen the Danielle Pinnock videos? I posted them in the comic relief thread on the politics board. That lawyer for the defense is such a caricature.

And GP wins. I’m actually surprised by that.

I’m not. Because there was literally no proof presented that she did anything. I’m surprised they called him at fault. I wouldn’t have gotten to fault on either side.

If you're right, your right. Why bring up a perversion, dwell on ribs broke on fall vs impact, the $1, and have your kid testify when she didn't see what happened... If you know you're right. I fully believe she ran into him. Cursed him out and stormed off. I found his witness credible. The chat messages about him getting plowed down etc. However he didn't show his brain damage and shit and other claims. So why file suit if you know you don't have the documentation of at least your lingering medical claims. 🤷🏻♀️ 😂

Anything more than 51% blame on the other person would be considered a win. As I think about it more, TS got caught at several points embellishing/exaggerating, at which point, you could consider all credibility out the window. And if you believe a video really did exist, then you’d basically have to find him guilty.

I thought the instructor seemed pretty credible. He made it seem like TS was much faster and skilled than she skied. She probably technically hit him but he was not skiing appropriately for the level of the run.

One big thing I took away from all of this is that I'm really happy suing people for personal damages isn't really a thing on the Austrian or Italian Alps. Seems very annoying especially since it can rarely be something other than he said/she said.

So it only had to be 50% Goop at fault, which is weird to me in theory. I prefer true comparative negligence states.

Hes a goof and came unprepared. I'm not surprised by the outcome at all.
That also doesn't mean I don't think GP was innocent like McBenny said above. But it's over now and at least we got some entertainment out of it 🤣
Celebrating the outcome is a little odd to me though
