That's fucked. But also "Willy" and "Harold" are sending me. Are these family nicknames? What is happening? Oh man. I’m going to have to read this before June, aren’t I? Willy! Oh man. Harold! Even worse. Actual fight…damn, royals just like the dudes outside the Polish motorcycle club in my neighborhood, apparently. I’m sure all the salacious parts will be shared to the point where there isn’t much to gain by reading it. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll definitely be reading it. But just with memoirs often all the juicy parts already come out. |

Tyler Perry’s comparisons to his mother’s domestic abuse are swirling in my head. He alluded to the pattern being that of an abuser, but didn’t call it all out. I don’t have the right words to express what I’m thinking, but Harry really went through it with his family. I’m glad they are in therapy.

Kinda puts Tyler Perry’s words comparing Meghan and Harry’s treatment to domestic violence in a new light. :/
In other semi royal news, I’m watching their other Netflix show right now and I love Meghan’s narration voice. She’s a much better narrator than actress.

According to eholmes, the reporter (Martin Pengally) who wrote the story and got it also similarly scooped several other big memoirs recently. So he likely has big publishing house sources which also probably means they will stay deep under wraps. It makes me think of the scene in Devil Wears Prada where Andy is able to get the Harry Potter manuscript from a friend of a friend who did the artwork. |

I seriously want them to get better PR people or someone to teach them, mainly Harry.
I get what he was trying to get across with it coming out that W&K telling him to wear the uniform and yet staying out of the press for their misgivings (Will being in blackface at that party, allegedly) but that wasn’t the way to prove your point because it was still your mistake and you already took responsibility for it and talked about how you learned but this now sets that learning back because you didn’t learn enough if you are putting blame elsewhere

Man I really wonder what Harry's endgame is here. Saying he wants his brother and father back while putting this out. I'm 100% on his side but he knows you can't talk about family business publicly and expect a reconciliation. I was just listening to the You're Wrong About series about Diana and they had noted the reaction to her interview by the upper-class was basically that it was cringy (cheugy whatever) to talk about this stuff publicly. I have to imagine not much has changed.
I just preordered it on Audible, clearing my schedule for the 10th 😂
