20 minute pop punk run with Chase. I took the whole thing at a jog and enjoyed the music. I'm realizing that the pace cues are making me go faster than I should because I want to follow directions, but it's probably not good for me. I followed that up with a 10 minute core for runners with Becs.
I had PT yesterday and my pelvic alignment continues to be off, which is continuing to throw everything off down the chain, so that's fun. The good news, she said, is that we have identified something that we can work towards correcting. I'll keep working at it.

And woooow to that Reddit thread. I need to dig into it a bit more. I love everything about her crazy wedding week but I also see why it would have been obnoxious as hell to be another guest there. I really thought they would have bought the whole place out for how extravagant it was. I also would have been SUPER pissed if I had spent all that money to stay there and just was bombarded with someone else's wedding the whole time in my face. Ally isn't my fave instructor by any means and I can definitely see her getting a little bride-zilla. I agree. I like her as an instructor but I'm getting pretty turned off by the IG posts now. The first few were cute and pretty, but now it just seems like A LOT. Like yes your wedding is all about you, but this seems all about her in a different way. I agree. It was cool seeing it for the first two days but that was before I realized these were literally just the first two days and that wasn't the ceremony and reception that I was seeing. A whole week of partying when not renting out the whole place seems very excessive. I mean, people are entitled to their excessiveness if they can afford it I guess but I can see how that would have been a huge issue to those that thought they'd be going to have a relaxing beach vacation.

Cardio day over here.
30 min pop ride with Cody (this was his "brunettes have more fun" ride) 5 min cool down ride with Robin
I noticed that my triceps and delts are getting more defined when I flex them as I straighten my arms and I am quite happy about that. My biceps are starting to peak out too.

CD1 today— these 23 day cycles are a bitch! So crampy and blah today. My plans to try to get my long run in today were scrapped. I’ll do it Sunday instead. But I did my 90 minute PT session and a 5k in peak 88 degree sun, Sinai got something in.

TGIF!
I did Week 6, Day 2, of Beginner Strength:
- 10 min Warm Up with Olivia - 30 min Glutes & Legs with Olivia - 10 min Stretch with Matty (I mostly fast-forwarded but did do a 5-min Glutes & Legs Stretch with CDE after); this was a tough workout - squats, squat walks, lunges (front/back/side combos along with front and curtsey), single-leg deadlifts, especially the last 4 minutes of rapid-fire going through the exercises
Only one main strength session left in this program!
Breakfast was everything bagel thins with a fried egg (just shy of over-hard as I like a little bit of runny yolk, two pieces of Canadian bacon and a Kraft American single).
Lunch was a protein shake and some watermelon and strawberries.
Dinner will be TBD as I'll be going OOT for the weekend to visit family.

Hello! Behind again. Yesterday I did the glutes HCOTF stack + a 20 min ride. I liked the new glutes workout with Callie. Today I did the arms stack and a 20 min 80s ride with Robin. That leaves either tomorrow or Sunday for some kind of bootcamp or whatever else I want to do.
I am up 1ish lbs from my beach shenanigans so all in all I don't think that's too bad. Food will be iffy this weekend; going out for dinner for a friends 40th tonight, have a birthday party and also going out tomorrow night, and boat all day Sunday.
My H is doing another triathlon tomorrow about 30 min away. Am I a jerk for not going? I went all the way to VA for his first one. We have all kinds of plans tomorrow afternoon/evening so I'd rather get my own workout in and get the house straightened up, etc before we are gone all day and night. Plus there's the almost 5 year old to contend with who probably will not want to attend, lol.

Trying to catch up in here. You all are super motivating.
I took yesterday fully off. I woke up with a lot of soreness and pain in my Hip Flexors and felt like my body needed a break. I did whine a bunch, which probably burned some calories.
Today I did a 20min pop ride with Robin and then 10min arms and shoulders with Jess.
B: Coffee, as per. L: Soup Dumplings and Cantaloupe D: I’m making Rama Chicken with Rice.

I’m late but I’m glad you guys were also speculating about who was invited to Ally’s wedding and who wasn’t. Lol. I have been following the wedding, but didn’t think anything of Kendall’s post until you guys mentioned it.
It doesn’t surprise me that Ally wouldn’t invite everyone, especially the newer instructors like Kendall. It does surprise me that Jess K wasn’t invited, she seems to be the only OG instructor that wasn’t there. I think? I thought she used to hang out with them more, but I could be wrong about that.

Especially triathlons. Those make for a very long day!

Got 2 miles in with that run. It was almost 90 degrees and I did better than I have recently, so I felt good. My flare up also seems to be receding. Hoping to get in a morning run this weekend to push for 3-4 miles. Kind of frustrating that was a short run a few months ago and now it’s a struggle, but I know I’ll get back there.

I'm sick and also sore from yesterday so today was a rest day. I have 6 & 14 mile runs planned for tomorrow and Sunday but idk. Right now that's not sounding possible.
But the silver lining was that I watched the marathon in bed with no interruptions. I love Molly Seidel so much.

Rest day yesterday because we went to trivia last night. Lots of the bars do it during the week but we never seem to be able to make it. When the opportunity came up, we went. Definitely needed a group of multiple ages but it was fun.
Today I did a 30 minute bike boot camp with Cody.
BOD people, Lacee, the modifier in MBF, is going to be a trainer on BODi. I'm happy for her. I follow her on IG and she works hard.

Also bought new running shoes this week (My usual Asics GT2000s) and hope to re-start running when the weather cools some or if the basic Peloton tread goes back on sale.

Gotta love the Internet! Spent 10 minutes of a 20 minute workout in pain, paused, googled “mid back pain rowing”, tried solution, fixed! No back pain for the rest of the work out. Sometimes it is that easy.

Morning.
Taking it a bit easier than planned today because my legs feel creaky. Did a 20 minute interval run with Adrian for 2.5 miles and a 10 minute post run stretch with Robin. I'll do a 20 minute yoga tonight since I didn't do one yesterday.
Food yesterday ended being meh. My meals were super good and healthy but my snacking was out of control. Today is a giant question mark for food. I don't know.

Hi all!
Active recovery day so I walked for an hour (mostly on a path by a river). I got in a little under 3 miles in so obviously not any sort of power walk but a much more leisurely pace.
I did a 5-min Glutes and Legs stretch with Becs afterwards, which felt really good. I though I would be so sore after the lower body strength workout with Olivia yesterday, but I’m not, which I’ll take as a sign I’m getting back into a bit better shape.

Hi, all. Today I did: - 10 minute core with Andy - 15 minute barre with Hannah - 20 minute lower body with Selena - 30 minute hiit & hills with Chase
We leave tomorrow for Maine, so the next week will be weird for workouts. I’ll see what I can do.

I did my first 30 minute ride today because I wanted to do the Hamilton ride with Robin. I also played catch with MH for a long while today in the backyard because I’m coaching DD1’s Fall Softball team and I wanted a refresher. He kept throwing me hard grounders and long flies even though I kept telling him I’m just coaching a bunch of 7-8 year olds and not trying out for the freaking Rockford Peaches.
So then I obviously wiped out hard trying to dive to catch a drive that ended up going over our fence anyway. I’m totally fine. Just injured pride. And now he’s going to get me my favorite dessert.

Recovery day here. I felt like crap most of the day but managed a nice 2 mile walk with the kids. I like these weekend walks because my 5yo doesn’t like to go so it’s just me and the twins and I can put my podcasts on and enjoy some peace.

We must still be recovering, DS keeps sleeping in until 8 am or so (normally he wakes anywhere from 6-7). I’m back to my AM routine but it doesn’t leave time For exercise really. 🤷🏻♀️
Today we went on a short walk/bike. It was hot but felt so good to move!

I am so sick and definitely couldn't run today. I'm trying to figure out a plan B in the event that I need to skip my long run tomorrow. I'm hoping I can at least get through it at a snail's pace with some walk breaks, just to at least get the miles in.

Squats were a little rough last night, but I made it through them. The pull ups are going to be the death of me. My back is dead today, so benching was tons of fun. I made it through my work sets, but my accessory work was trash.
I napped off and on all afternoon. I've been under on calories all week (and it's hot and it's period week and we are moving to heavier weights to get ready to move to suits next month) so I'm having some extra tonight.
I've wanted cookies all week, so cookies and milk it is!
