Happy Friday! Today I skipped the cardio but did: - 10 minute core with Jess - 10 minute barre with Hannah - 15 minute barre with Hannah - 15 minute lower body with Chase
I saw that Peloton is now calling Jess’s 60 minute boot camp “The Saturday 60,” which is what she’s been calling it forever. It’s hands down my favorite peloton offering and I adore her. I’m happy she’s getting a little extra love from the company.

It's so hard but feels SO good!

20 minute upper body with Matty and 10 minute core with Rad this morning. I did a lot of modifying on the core work so I could do something. Kudos to those who can do it without needing to modify.

Evening, all.
20 min upper body with Matty, 10 min light weights with Cody, 10 min core with Matty (choosing a lot of him this week!)
B - waffles, turkey bacon, fruit L - half a baked roast beef sandwich, waffle fries D - rest of sandwich, more fries from oven (healthy!)
Actually was down 1.5 today so not sure if I'm dehydrated or what but I'll take it. I'm back to where I was before we went to the beach last month. I think I can do better once fall is in full swing and we're not on the boat as much or going for random drinks on weeknights. I'd love to lose just a bit more.
H is at the high school football game and I just put DS to bed. We could've went but DS said he didn't want to and it was also 90 degrees. Might open up a drink here soon and relax.

I did a 10 minute Robin lower body stretch early evening and just did a 20 minute slow flow with Anna that was perfect. It's from 8/14/21 for anyone interested. It might be my new post long run yoga. It stretched all right the spots.
I'm tired now. I have almost 34k steps for the day. Very done.

I did Hannah F's 30 minute carnival ride tonight, and got a PR! I haven't PR'd in monnnnnthsssss. I was so excited when I saw halfway through the ride that I was on pace to PR that I just went full-out. I only beat my previous PR by four points, LOL.
After that I did a 10 minute core with Ben but scrapped the lower body HCOF stack because I was too gassed, and just did a 20 minute foam rolling class with Hannah C.

Morning.
Squeezed in a super easy 20 minute hip hop run with Olivia and a 15 minute lower body foam roll with Hannah. Will do some gentle yoga tonight too, but my legs feel decent at least.
Food today 🤷🏻♀️ left overs hopefully. I don't know.

Good morning. This morning I did: - 10 minute core with Adrian - 10 minute arms toning with Sam - 5 minute warmup run with Matty - 20 minute HIIT run with Robin (this was a beginner level run and it has way more recovery than I needed but it was still fun. I love Robin and will follow her anywhere) - 10 minute cool down run with Selena

Thanks for all the support, everyone. I really appreciate it, and I'm in a better place now. I even got on the bike today!
The heat finally broke here, thank goodness.
Bowling today! I haven't be in so long.

Yesterday was a longer cardio day.
45 min PZE pop ride with Olivia 10 min cool down with Ben
Today I’m doing a bunch of yard work so that will be my exercise for the day. I’m dreading it but it is so far overdue.

45 minute pop run with Matty this morning. The playlist was all one hit wonders, very fun. I got almost 4 miles in but took a few walk breaks. Still sore from the strength workout I did two days ago. It was just a 20 minute strength for runners but apparently I gave it my all.

DD had to be at the football field by 8:30 for her first time cheering. I had to get up early to get in my run, but it worked out because it was 95% humidity already at 7. I got 3 miles in but walked some of it since it was so hard to breath.

30 minute live DJ run with Adrian from last night this morning. I had never done one of those before. It was so much fun! I'll be looking for those again in the future.

Got in 30 min on the bike and a 10 min FB workout. It had been a while since I did a bike/strength workout so it felt good.
H and I went out to dinner since the kids are with my parents tonight but the rest of my food was macro friendly as I get back to non-vacation eating. I'm skipping alcohol tonight and trying to get to bed earlyish so I can get in a run tomorrow morning!

Definitely one of my favorites. I loved the one hit wonder run, too! Matty is my favorite instructor personality-wise. And I agree, perfect for casual runs where intensity isn't my goal.

3 mile easy run this morning. Slow and boring to save my legs for my long run tomorrow. Mentally preparing to squeeze in strength time this week.

I did Robin's live DJ ride from last night today, it was fun and I took it super easy and just enjoyed the vibes.
Followed by the HCOF arms/chest/back stack.
It's hot here and people are losing their minds.

I’m glad you’re doing well with the Sauconys! I obviously don’t run, but it has always been easy for me to switch back and forth between Asics and Sauconys. It’s harder for me to switch between either of those and mizunos and brooks. And Hokas are a whole different thing for me. Do you like the massage gun? Oh I love it! I think everyone should have one. I work on my calves and quads after a long run and it really helps with soreness. I’ve only tried one, and it left me pretty bruised, but I’m looking at them again. What brand do you use?

The canadian in me is very 🤯😱😩 about a walk in MRI 😂 This is definitely not an everywhere thing, and my insurance would be very "LOL- enjoy paying for that on your own". My insurance definitely wouldn’t pay for a walk in MRI. If I really, really needed one, I’d go the cash pay route. But orthopedic urgent cares really are awesome - instead of going to the ER and seeing an ER dr, and then getting them to refer you to an orthopedist, you see someone who specializes in orthopedics and can get you on the schedule very quickly. Definitely always check to see if they’re in network first, but the orthopedic urgent care I use is part of an in network orthopedic practice, and my insurance treats it like any other orthopedic visit (some of my friends’ insurance plans do treat it as an urgent care visit, though, and their copays are higher than a typical ortho visit). I’ve only had to appeal one denial for an X-ray - they usually cover those. But yeah, they’d absolutely deny an MRI.

notblanche Congratulations on getting help! I really hope the lexapro works for you you, but if it doesn’t, there are so many drugs that do work. Sometimes it just takes some experimentation. MelanieCarmichael I’m sorry. Vertigo really, really sucks. caer Congratulations on your 500th run! snowyowl I hope you get your shoulder figured out soon. It’s a horrible feeling when you find an exercise that you’re excited about and it just doesn’t go well. RunsforWineandCarbs I hope your back feels better soon. shesellscshells I hope you completely recover quickly.

Got myself out of bed and got 3.1 miles in this morning. It started slow and stiff but felt really good at the end. I was slower overall than I prefer but I did some hills and my endurance has taken a hit from sporadic running over the past month, so it was very good considering.
I’m not going to track today, but I plan to eat stuff I know will keep me within my macros. We go back for PD days Sept 1 to kick off the school year so I’ll pick back up with tracking then.

Morning.
Got in Hannah F's Carnival ride and a 5 minute core with Selena. Then H and I tag teamed deep cleaning the first floor of our house.
I had a protein bar for breakfast but the rest of the day will be pizza, cake, and ice cream. We're having our folks over today to celebrate T turning one tomorrow, so I will indulge in junk food today.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to shoot to start macros again once I'm back to work full time next week. I really need to start tracking.
