I did a 20 minute run today while the girls were at cheer. It suuucked. It was so hot and so humid. I wish I could run in the mornings before it gets so damn hot, but DH has to leave for work at 4:30am so lolno to getting up at like 3am. Ugh. At least I only have a few more weeks before it probably snows. Only kind of kidding.

My current record on the tread is 18 miles. Part of my life vanished that day. I have 16 miles on mine staring me down and I'm already ready to die just thinking about it. Maybe I should suck it up and pay a babysitter. I don't know. It's rough, man.

Hi. I’m still a couple of days behind on the thread but I’m still here! Today was my first day in the new job and one step at a time I’m moving closer to having a steady routine. When DS’s wraparound care starts in a couple of weeks, that will really help.
Today was: 30 min pop ride with Cody (the brunettes have more fun one) 5 min cool down with Kendall 15 min mood full body stretch (calm) with Selena

I did a 20 min Chase legs/flutes and a 20min Jess Sims upper body. I haven’t had the chance to do much for strength the last couple weeks while we’ve been OOT then had guests, so it felt good. Then took the pup on a walk to our local fruit stand, about 5-6K return. A new dog in the neighborhood was off leash in their yard and came running out to the road and snarled at her and it rattled me. Yay rural living. Gotta have strong flutes! No one likes a weak woodwind section. 😉 Hahahaha woodwind band goons for LYFE!

I wasted time before my workout arguing with my dad about how he thinks that I'm not doing enough to "fix" DS2 if I "think there's something wrong with him." I mean, he's in his 70s I get it's generational, but it's so insulting that he thinks there's something "wrong" with DS2 because he's shy and sensitive and doesn't want to ride a bike and play sportsball. He's SEVEN years old. IDK Dad. Fuck off. My brother was never a sportsball kid and I have a lot more insight now into what life must have been like for him as a kid. He finally moved a state away from my parents four months ago and he is like....visibly happier.
Living across the street from your parents...I don't recommend it.
So then with a condensed amount of time I CRUSHED a 15 minute Tabata ride with Hannah F, because I was so heated. Also 10 minute core with Rad, 10 minute arms and light weights with Emma, and 20 minute arms and shoulders with Callie. Holy triceps, folks!

Her wedding looks absolutely amazing, all the attention to detail, meaningful elements. But like keg mentioned it seems all about her in a odd way. It’s been a big turn off for me and I REALLY liked her going into this. I hope I can get past this in our Peloton relationship 😉😆

That’s really not cool of your dad CurlieWhirlie It’s good your DS has you to advocate for him and ignore that noise. DD (coming up on 6 this weekend), is shy and not into sportsball either, but it seems like for some, that’s more acceptable for girls, which is lame.

It’s brutally hot today. I wasn’t able to run this morning. I may attempt a few miles this afternoon (running to pick DD up from camp), but I may just sub with some spin instead.

Morning.
I did so much walking and standing yesterday, my legs and feet are so sore and tired. Food was meh, it was the same stuff for lunch and dinner, so I had BBQ chicken and pineapple and ice cream for both meals. I chugged water and sweat my ass off and we had a great time.
I took it easy this morning with a 30 minute EDM run with Wilpers that was really a hill run. Did a 10 minute post run stretch with RK and I'll do yoga tonight. I was going to do a short strength too, but my stomach is feeling off, so I'm good. Fall back long run tomorrow.
Food should be fine today.

Was feeling well enough to do a Flash 15 yesterday afternoon! I didn't push too hard, but it was fun, and I felt great to have done it!

Well as a continuation to my saga, everything has just kept going downhill. I was able to limit work Monday and Tuesday, but yesterday I had to work a full day. And that clearly caused issues because today I’m in a significant amount of pain if I move my arm the slightest amount.
So I’m thinking I need to go in to see a doctor. My main concern is the sheer volume of work I have to do over the next week (including this weekend) and without an actual doctors diagnosis, I’ll be told to just keep powering through. I’m not real excited about that idea I’d it means I’ll do even more damage.
But so far I can’t figure out where to go. My doctor is booked. All urgent cares are full for today (we called - all full for COVID!). So are the ERs. And I can’t get an MRI without seeing a regular doctor first. So yeah I’m frustrated.

Cardio day which was badly needed after some heavy lifting this week.
45 min House ride with Jess K 10 min cool down ride with Ben
So this was Jess's house ride from 7/30/21 and I had seen on her stories how she said it was in her top 5 rides ever so I felt like I had to do it. I did not see until AFTER I was done and dead that the difficulty rating was 8.6. lollllll fuck it was hard but so good. I get so into the ride with House and EDM music, it feels very spiritual. And she was not fucking around, clearly. Highly recommend the ride for anyone that wants a good challenge!

I also agree on the discussion of Ally's wedding. It's still being posted about today and it just feels...excessive...at this point. IDK, the progression of all of it has really turned me off from her for a while.

B: scrambled eggs with cheese, banana, coffee w/milk and splenda S: 2 caramel rice cakes L: chopped salad with tuna, banana, grapes, ice cream S: 2 cheese sticks and bean chips D: fish, quinoa, veggies

FWIW in the name of honesty, I'm happy with how I handled last week, but I'm still unhappy with my weight. I know what I need to do to fix that, just don't want to, so it's still my ongoing battle. One step at a time, I guess, last week was a big one.

Just finished up a 20 min Cody 2000s ride and the 20 min Pilates from the HCOTF calendar. I am very tired now. Food has been on target today but I’ve been really bloated and uncomfortable the past few days so I do need to make some general changes to see if that helps.
