I do too, as a concept! I love seeing how creative and artistic people can be with it. I'm just not that person and probably never will be, ha. Same same same. However, Urban Decay has new Prince themed makeup pallets out now and it immediately made me think of you!

I have put the most minimal amount of make up on (like concealer) maybe twice since last March. Oh I did put a bit more on when we took family pictures in November. I was like... how do I do this?

Same. My family hates it, but unless I am getting professional photos or doing some fancy event, I am make up less. Even during field work 🤷🏼♀️ Your family gives you their opinion on whether you are wearing makeup?! Oh yes... they have the mindset of you have to wear makeup so others like to look at you and don’t have to see any blemishes. Heard it my whole life, and we have had a few nasty fights over it because I don’t agree with that nonsense.

Same. I did buy an "eye brightener" - which tiktok made me do. Unless it is a party or special event, generally my go to makeup is just mascara and lipstick because those are easy and quick and do make me look more awake. I think I had an eye brightener at one time. I really love shopping at Sephora and playing with makeup. I just don't like having to do it every day. I threw away ALL of my makeup except for my mascara and lipsticks at some point during the pandemic because they were all getting old and I wasn't going to use any of it. I also don't like that it is sometimes a chore to find cruelty free stuff that works well. I didn't buy the one tiktok was shilling because it was $$ to me, so I ordered one for half the price from amazon. I got it in two colors. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LW1983J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Me too. I admit I’ve stopped wearing it almost entirely with working from home just out of shear laziness and because a couple times I thought I looked too done up on zoom and felt weird. But I’m excited to get back into it.

I've been significantly less makeup with my half my face covered. I'm not a lipstick person though, so no change for me there. It would have been cool if new eye makeup caught on, but I think a lot of people like myself just gave up on wearing it since you were primarily stuck at home and seeing no one anyways. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve worn makeup in the last year. I used to wear it every time I went out and I just really haven’t been going out. I’m going to wear it today though. 😁

I tell them as much now that I’ve learned to stand up for myself and push back on it. I got in a huge blow up fight when pregnant with DD over it because I refuse to have her hearing that growing up. (I have a lot of anger over their ideal looks for girls in the family. I’m working on it... slowly).

This is actually an economic indicator ( I may have mentioned this before)! It's one of my favorites; increased sales is a strong indication of a recovering economy. I also like to cite the Men's underwear indicator ( when men stop buying undies it's a baaaaad sign).

I have gone through phases with makeup but it never sticks around long. I have accepted that I'm just not a makeup person (outside of special events/date nights) because I'm lazy af in the morning and my skin appreciates me more when I don't. I wish I enjoyed the process because I like the way I look with it on but no, I'm meant to be clean faced I guess, lol. This is me. I'm a coat of mascara on most days kind of a person, some eye shadow when I'm feeling like I want a little more done up. I'm rarely in a full face of makeup. I don't have the time or the care even though I love how it looks. Love makeup in theory, hate it in application.

I stopped using foundation and lipstick but have upped my eyebrow game. I do a full eye area make up face every day I work. I’ve really gotten into eyebrow care and styling - waxing, henna, tinting, laminating, and coloring them in every day (that I work). Days I don’t work I go makeup free unless I’m having a GNO.

I over tweezed my brows years ago and finally realized that hiring a professional was the way to go for me. My make up is very minimal (BB cream, blush, Clinique chubby sticks for eyes and lips, maybe a little eyeliner and quick mascara). I admire results others get when they spend time and care on applications but somehow I just never do it.

One thing about my closest BFFs being friends since grade school is that if I am wearing makeup, they comment on it being unusual since they've been used to seeing my face this way since we were tiny, lol (aside from makeup experimenting in middle school. Oh the body glitter and white eyeshadow...)

Add me to the minimal makeup list. My skin is much happier when I leave it alone. If anyone has any recs for a mascara that won’t irritate my sensitive eyes, I’d appreciate it. My lashes disappear when I don’t have any on.

I might be more into makeup if I had ever learned how to do it. Like I legit have no idea what I'm doing and when I try for family photos and things my eyes always look so overdone.
Also I'm lazy.

You might just need to get used to how you look with eye makeup. It might only look dramatic because it's very different, kwim? I am 100% YouTube taught so maybe I'm bad at it and wrong lol

I'm self conscious about my rosacea so I always wear foundation if I'm going out. I don't always love wearing it but I also don't like looking vaguely feverish in a pandemonium

I just saw that my county is at almost 73% vaccinated (16+ and over) which made me feel a lot better. We are the second biggest county in the state and the biggest, and our neighbor (Hennepin) is also over 70%. It will help me be a bit less paranoid at the gym and stores knowing that the odds are decent and they will keep getting better.

My lashes disappear when I don’t have any on. Same. I love makeup, but it does not love me. Since Covid started, I’ve been going without besides mascara, and my skin looks much healthier. I use Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal bc I was told that drug store and specialty store mascaras are very similar (by a girlfriend who is high up at Sephora), but when I used to be spendy I bought Two Faced Better than Sex.

We used to put it on our cleavage/ chest and then open all 3 buttons of our catholic school polo shirts. Super sexy. 😂

New guidance on summer camps and masking Excerpt from news story May 28, 2021 The new guidance says masks and social distancing are not required if everyone at the camp is fully vaccinated but said camps with unvaccinated campers or adults, including any camp for kids younger than 12 not yet eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, should still encourage or require masks indoors. link

People are going to hear what they want to hear in that and not care of that age group cannot be vaccinated yet. ETA: "Require" is going to be completely glossed over/ignored because there was an alternative word offered.

Mass has already said they won't require for middle schools and those kids aren't all eligible
