45 min intervals run with Becs (5.3 miles) 10 min core with Becs 20 min chest & back with RK cnf thanks for the rec with that class but omg I was also mad about it mid run 😆. Survived though! That'll be a really good one to work in regularly during a training cycle. The leg heavy core class from the HCOTF calendar was NOT ideal for just after that run. Thanks a lot, Becs.

Got a couple of strength classes in tonight but otherwise was outside most of the day doing a lot of walking and I think the backyard is finally prepped for warmer weather. Our cheapie plastic kiddie pool survived another winter so it’s all cleaned and ready to go. But the water comes out of our hose ice cold even in the summer so we have to stick it in a sunny spot and wait a few hours for the water to warm up. Even though nothing I did today was super challenging, by the end of the day I’m exhausted!
10 min arms & shoulders with Matty 10 min core with Adrian

Today's HCOF stack was no joke! Silly me I did a 45 minute intervals and arms ride with Cody beforehand!
You better believe I was regretting that by the time I got to Rebecca's 20 minute chest and back.
And then a couple of hours of yard work afterwards! Noodle arms!
We moved the bike across the street to the new gym area. Things are still getting settled but I think it's going to work out! Less than three weeks until tread delivery!

Morning.
20 minute pop ride with Jenn 20 minute pop run with Olivia 20 minute upper body with Adrian.
I still have a slow flow left on my stack for today that I will get to later. I got my speed senor all set up on the hub of the peloton fly wheel last night. Peloton, my watch, and wahoo all showing the same speed output. Today on my ride wahoo and peloton were the same but my watch thought I was riding at 25-35mph the whole time, so I'll hit a couple 5 minute warm up or cool down rides too while I try to figure that out, also later today.
We'll be taking the kids to the state park by our house too so they can ride bikes through the camping loops, so I'll get a few miles of walking in too. Should be a super active day.
Food yesterday was good minus oreos after the kids went to bed. Today will be decent too.

I haven’t checked in all week but I’ve been keeping up with my goal. I need to work on my salad goal so the thread on salads was very timely and helpful. I stacked a PZE and a Walk run class yesterday and didn’t die. I covered the same distance that I have planned for my baby sprint triathlon, but who knows if it’s even happening in August.
Today I’m going to do a HIIT class and some stretching.

One again, I was feeling lazy this morning, and once again, reading this thread got me out the door.
45 minute rock run with Rebecca (5 miles) 10 minutes post-run stretch with Adrian
Thanks ladies!

I had a NSV yesterday. Since it was the twins party, I wanted to put on real pants which I haven’t worn since the pandemic started basically. I tried a pair of dress pants that are size 10 (my goal size/pre pregnancy normal size is an 8) and I didn’t expect them to fit. But they did, and comfortably! I got so excited.

I am surprisingly not feeling too sore after yesterday’s run. I’m supposed to run again tomorrow, but I might go today instead. My mom is taking the boys for a few hours, and since I have a meeting tomorrow afternoon, I would have to run tomorrow morning before work. It seems easier to just go today, then I can lounge on the couch for the rest of the time they’re gone.
I haven’t planned all of my food yet for today, but will stay within my macros.

Morning! We’re home. I did 6 miles this morning on the tread. I was dragging but I got through it. I did Matty’s live house run for part of it and got a shoutout for my 400th run, which was fun. That will be in for today for exercise but I need to unpack and get the house in order, so there will be lots more activity.

COngrats caer! I was on it for like 5 minutes before it got stuck and wouldn't start again, boo! I carved out time this morning to do a live run but that was a bust. see above. I started out with min pre run stretch with jess simms. 10 min long run warm up with becs. 20 min walk + run with chase 30 min live house run with matty (10 mins) 30 min rock run with wilpers 10 min cool down with becs. 6.5 slow miles this fine sunday morning. and if you like running 3 of those miles in the pouring down rain, than it indeed is a fine morning. lol Food; B: banana / gu L: air fryer chicken nuggets and 2 hash browns. side greek yogurt with strawberries D: Going out to a brewery as BIL is fling in today. I will get either a chicken sandwich or burger minus the bun.

I went for my run and it was great! My legs were tired at first, but my last two miles were under 10 min (which is fast for me). Now I don’t have to worry about it tomorrow!

Hey all!
I’ve been riding the struggle bus (or should it be the sloth bus?) and haven’t worked out since Wednesday but got back at it today and it is so dang beautiful out. Perfect low 50s running weather.
I finished W1 of Couch to 10K (2.1 miles), then tacked on:
5 min Core with Ben 11 min Lilly Sabri Booty Band 🔥 🔥 10 min Post-Run Stretch with Jess
I realize I need to check in here daily to keep myself more motivated although I do appreciate many being real and sharing it wasn’t their finest week either.
Enjoy what’s left of the weekend!

Hello! We took the boys for a a walk through a nature preserve this morning. Of course they got tired at the turning around point, so I had a 55 lb weight on my back for part of the way back to the parking lot too. We saw lots of wildlife though- 2 deer up close, a mouse, and some cool birds. Then I went for a 30 min walk/run with Adrian. Food should be good today. MH is smoking 2 pork bellies for homemade bacon so dinner will be bacon chicken burgers.
B- a few fried potatoes, egg, and 1 french toast stick L- turkey sandwich, sliced cucumbers D- bacon chicken cheeseburger, salad, tots

Today should be a good day. My reflux meds are working, and I’m thrilled about that. I am going to do some sort of workout, and eating should be decent.

Modified long run day with walk/run intervals, I managed 7 miles. Longest run since my injury in early March. It’s still annoying to be moving so much slower than my normal speed (especially since I’m already quite slow!) but I’ll take my wins where I can get them.
10 minute warm up run with Selena 20 minute walk/run with RK 30 minute walk/run with Adrian 20 minute walk/run with Becs 10 minute post run stretch with Jess Sims

It's bananas. I made the mistake of watching the video. It's horrific, do not recommend. I hope they come up with a solution on how block the back underside. It doesn't seem like it would be hard. We keep saying we'll get a peloton tread after ours dies, but after DD2's treadmill accident and now seeing they lack the safety feature that threw my kid off instead of sucking her under, and seem to be fighting back about it too, I don't know if I could. If they can find a solution I'd still want one, but not after last year with C and not if they aren't willing to fix their design flaw.

I don’t know anything about treadmills but is there something uniquely more dangerous about the tread+ vs other brands of treadmills? Everything I'm seeing has to do with a combo of super high ground clearance with nothing blocking the gap between the deck and floor, and the drive train. That combination sucks things under instead of flinging them off like you see with any other treadmill. They could definitely create some kind of after market piece for people to attach the block that hap, but it sounds like they're digging in on the "we are super up front about the safety/personal responsibility" argument, unfortunately. For reference, my life fitness treadmill has super minimal ground clearance, maybe a couple inches at most. And it has a welded steel back plate between the deck and the ground. I looked and felt all over the back of our deck after C got hurt and it is solid AF.

I don’t have one so I could be off on how it works because I am saying this based off comments, but it seems like there is the ability for things to go underneath the tread and get trapped or sucked under? Like no barrier/bar/wall to prevent a hand from going under. Some treadmills have bars or something to prevent something or someone getting caught. And also it can automatically lower sometimes, even when not in use? I’m not sure how that works. Also I guess the tread has a key that has to be taken out each time you get off the tread. But it sounds like the instructors mention that often. Tread users should definitely chime in, because I don’t exactly know what I’m talking about.

All treadmills have an emergency safety key you can pull that grinds it to a halt very fast. They're saying you should completely remove and store it away when not in use, but most people with most treadmills don't do this. Ours isn't even removable. I'd be more inclined to reach under the motor base and flip the switch off since my kids would never figure that out. But that's just me. The only time I've ever used my safety key in six years was when DD2 got hurt. I should flip the power off though.

Ok, I got my watch and peloton speed to match. It required me to move the sensor to a new spot and create a custom wheel size within my watch, which took some figuring out to get right, but they are more or less on point now. Off about one or two one hundredths of a mile. Close enough.
We did 1.5 miles at the park. It got close to DD2's naptime and she had a wicked meltdown, but she did great on her bike otherwise.
And I got in 20 minutes of yoga. The baby woke from his nap a couple minutes in. I tried the exit workout trick since I was streaming it from my bike screen. But when I resumed it the workout had still be running in the background, so it picked up four minutes past where I exited it. Oh well. I did my own thing for four minutes to get 20 minutes total and called it good enough.
That's five workout activities for today. I'm done now, lol.

Catching up after a few days. Friday and Saturday were rest days although we did spend Friday afternoon moving all the stuff for our garage sale from the basement to the garage including a leather love seat. I was pretty proud with how well I did carrying it with H although he just doesn't seem to get that my arms are shorter than his and I can't hold it the same way he can. Saturday was the sale and last night we did a fried chicken and bubbles tasting with friends. Each couple brought a different variety Fried chicken and a bottle of bubbles. We had a blast but I'm a little hung over today.

Rec your air friers?
I have a Cosori I got on prime day a few years ago. I use it constantly and love it. It lives over the fridge and requires me to use a stool to get it down and put it away. A few weeks ago I dropped it lifting it over my head to put it back and the casing around the top cracked badly. I've been avoiding it since I'm nervous about the cracked open, exposed element, but I was finally curious enough to try it. It can't seem to keep enough air pressure? I don't know how they how they work, but it's running for about two minutes then the basket is popping out and pausing it. I'm bummed and need a new one now. Tell me what to buy?
