I am a bottomless pit today. I've had breakfast, a snack, another snack, and I just finished lunch and am already trying to remember what else is in my lunchbox. I need to reign it in. I had two breakfasts + a bonus cappuccino. It's Friday, and you've been working out hard! I am proud to say I included fruit in both of my breakfasts, and feel satiated and happy! (Yogurt with raspberries/honey/almonds, followed by an english muffin with avocado and Bitchin sauce). BTW, this is my official (but unsponsored) plug for Bitchin sauce - we got it in our imperfect box and it's tangy, salty, and just delicious. We've been eating it on top of our grain bowls this week, but it is also great as a dip in place of hummus (so with chips or veggies) and spectacular mixed in to avo toast! I loooooove Bitchin sauce.

Forgot to check in yesterday:
20 minute strength for runners with Becs 10 minute core with Emma (day 3 week 2 of Crush your Core)
And today was great again, sticking with the walk+run format:
45 minute walk and run with Becs 10 minute post run stretch with Jess Sims
I made it over 3.5 miles in the run even with all the walking intervals. Almost no pain from my hip throughout too. Guess I’m sticking with walk/run intervals for a while! I have a PT evaluation coming up this week, so we’ll see what they suggest.
Pizza on the way! We started Pizza Fridays way back last March as a morale booster and now it’s become a Thing. Not mad about it.

I think I might have just had one of the best workouts of my life this morning. I just have a brag a sec because I am feeling a little emotional/amazed that I have been able to accomplish this: -600th ride plus a shout out from Ally (I did her 8am 45min 80s ride this morning...really good tough ride!) -45min PR (558 output) -finished in top 5% (121 out of 2500+) A few years ago I would have never imagined I could do that kind of ride with those kind of results. I'm forever thankful for discovering a love of weight trainings plus the Peloton. Ok I’m way behind but way to go pearbear !!

Hey all I’ve been the worst at checking in this month but am here reading cheering you all badasses on!
Stayed consistent on the HCOTF calendar the last two weeks. Last week I went super hard on rides (3 PRs in a row 🥳) so this week I took it a lot easier with shorter or more chill rides and it felt good.
Today: 20 min Country ride with Olivia 20 min Glutes and Legs with Selena- “neutch” was back and I laughed out loud thanks to you all 10 min Glutes and Legs with Rebecca 10 min Core with Matty

My back is still bothering me today but I was able to get through my workout and it didn’t seem to aggravate it at all so I’m thinking it’s nothing serious and will resolve on its own. I’ll keep it up with my normal workout plans and listen to my body. The kids requested Culver’s for dinner so I planned my food for the day to fit it in — I went for a salad with grilled chicken and Skinnygirl dressing so I had room for the most important part, a scoop of the flavor of the day (chocolate w/ Reece’s cups). I also took a couple of H’s cheese curds because I’m only human. BTW, if you haven’t tried the Skinnygirl dressings, I’d definitely recommend. The name is dumb but they taste good and they’re sugar free, fat free, only 1-2 carbs & about 10 calories per serving. I use the balsamic vinaigrette and the honey Dijon one pretty regularly. 10 min core w/ Selena 30 min arms & intervals ride w/ Tunde 20 min upper body strength w/ Selena

Hey hey.
I'm down 3 lbs this week, but I was up 2 after Easter/spring break so I guess it's kind of just 1 lb, but still, moving in the right direction.
B - Skinnytaste banana muffin L - out to lunch - beef pho D - leftovers - chicken sub and shared some cheetos with DS S - 2 beers. some cauliflower cheese crackers. a very tiny ice cream sandwich. random, lol
20 min glutes and legs with Selena (again with the no-rest EMOMS, I fucking hate these), 10 min glutes/legs with Rebecca, 10 min core with Matty
Not sure if tomorrow I will do the arms HCOF stack or sub it out for a bike boot camp since I haven't done one in a few weeks. Or maybe I'll do a 30 min boot camp and then the stack. We shall see.

Spent most of my work day looking at evidence that is absolutely horrifying. At 3:15 I couldn’t handle it mentally anymore so I jumped on the bike to try to power scrub my brain and release my rage. I did Jess King’s 30 min WHM ride from last month and it helped a lot. I rage rode and cried at the end. Then did a couple of meditations, a hot shower, and now wine.
Today was so tough but I’m proud of myself for using exercise for self-care. 6 months ago that would not have happened.
Early this morning I also got my second vaccine, so hoping I feel ok this weekend to get maybe a live ride in.

I woke up this morning SO sore. I figured CF would be out, but was hoping I could at least get a run in. My body disagrees.
H ordered mulch for us to spread today. Unfortunately our landscaping takes 22 yards, so that may be my workout for the day. 🙁

i did well with my eating yesterday. even fit in a 20 min hip hop run with RK yesterday right before the storms moved in. This morning i snuck in 4 miles with 30 min walk + run with adrian - his latest and it's a great playlist. Then 20 min edm run with speers - dude never gave a break. We are now under severe storm warnings.
I will admit I can feel the difference in how heavy i felt running these past 2 days. it's 100% the diet and wine from the week. Speers said something along the lines to rephrase how you look at challenges by looking at them like opportunities instead. it really hit home for my goals; i want to make my health a lifestyle change and that's challenging. Or is it an opportunity? It really makes you see it differently then. and that brought me full circle back to my past weeks eating and drinking and how that actually didn't make me happy; but feeling strong and capable while running does.
sorry..my mind wanders when i run. lol
Cheer is going to be cancelled but we still have a baseball game at 3:30 - fx the weather clears up.

I never checked in yesterday, but I took a second sloth day. No workout, no step goal achieved, garbage food, alcohol. Woof.
This morning I got up and got it in though. Going to try to keep my weekend in check.
45 minute interval run with Becs 5 minute core with Selena 10 minute post run stretch with Robin Foam roll for my tight IT bands
That run was HARD. It's listed as advanced and it was. It was endurance intervals; 8 minutes, 2x7 minutes, 2x6 minutes with increasing speed and decreasing recovery. There was a very minimal amount of incline change throughout, but nothing crazy. It would be an easy class to do outside, but gosh, I was gassed at the end. Got 5 miles which was great, my mileage is starting to decline for the month and I want to get it back up.
Just snarfed down some avocado toast and eggs. Going to be conscious of my food today as best as I can.

cnf, what was the date for that run? That's exactly the type of class I wanted to do this weekend. I wish they had more detailed class descriptions for the runs in particular.

cnf, what was the date for that run? That's exactly the type of class I wanted to do this weekend. I wish they had more detailed class descriptions for the runs in particular. 4/12/21 The peloton subreddit is working on some kind of spreadsheet with workout breakdowns. Not sure when it will go live. I'm happy to report back run breakdowns if I can remember them afterwards. There's no reason peloton couldn't include the workout breakdown in the description. Obviously the instructors know their plan in advance of the workout. It would help immensely with planning workouts. I can select an intervals run, but I don't know if it's going to be short and fast, long and slow, race pace work, some variety of intervals. It's kind of annoying sometimes. But yeah, this was a great workout for endurance at higher speeds. Loved it. I really need to bookmark it and do again in like a month or two, but I also think I'm scared of doing it again because I was pretty crushed at the end. The last three minutes of the final interval I really thought I might die, lol.

Not exactly a rest day here but also not a planned workout. It’s my twins birthday party later so I am cleaning like a madwoman which makes me good and sweaty so I will count it as an active recovery haha.

I did the HCOTF calendar today and I hurt my lower back somehow. Luckily, tomorrow is [another] rest day because I’ll be sitting at the hospital with my uncle all day so my cousin will hopefully go home and get some rest before they wake him up. I might be the weirdo doing inversions in the hospital waiting room to try and find some relief though.

Afternoon!
I did the HCOTF stack this morning - 20 min chest/back with Rebecca (I managed some chest presses with 20 lb dumbbells and the flies with 15 lbs), 10 min arms with Andy (really liked this one), 10 min core with Becs, and then I did an additional 30 min upper body bike bootcamp with Cody. My arms are feeling it now.
Had PB on waffle and turkey bacon for breakfast, went out to lunch with a friend and had a turkey sub and a cocktail, and not sure about dinner yet. I probably won't cook though, leftovers or takeout.
It's "junk weekend" where I live, where everyone puts out stuff they don't want and/or garbage on the curb. People come around in trucks and grab what they want, and the town will pick up and trash the rest of it next week. I'm laying on the couch right now but eventually need to get up and go check out the attic and garage to see what I can get rid of. I should also probably do a sweep through DS's toys, but that sounds awful lol.

Got through an 8 mile run this morning. I wasn’t feeling great so I started really slow but I was proud of how strong I finished. Followed up with a 10 min whole body stretch. I have a headache and I’m feeling foggy, but food has been decent so far. I need to drink something with electrolytes though. [\spoiler]

It’s been a good Saturday —the scale moved downward a little bit, food was okay, got my water in, and a really good workout this morning. I’ve stayed busy cleaning the house and tonight a friend is coming over so we’ll be drinking. I planned out some appetizer kinds of food & pre-tracked them all so now I just need to stick with indulging in moderation. 10 min core w/ Olivia 45 min BHM bike bootcamp w/ Jess 10 min full body stretch w/ Adrian

I haven’t checked in for a couple of days but it’s been sunny and in the 70’s here so we’ve been spending a ton of time outside. I’ve been doing a ton of walking and getting the yard ready for summer so fairly active but not anything that registers in the Peloton app except a yoga class and a meditation.

My stupid accessory squats last night went ok. Despite them getting split apart due to DS's soccer practice, they still moved along pretty well.
Bench today went well. Getting closer to full range of motion and still moving things well.
