I got an email from (of course) XPO saying I needed to call and schedule my delivery. I called, they said it's not in the warehouse yet, we will call you when we're ready to schedule. THEN DON'T SEND THAT EMAIL, FOOLS. You got me excited to being close to getting rid of my current leg mangler. They need to find someone more competent to do their deliveries. My gosh.

I just followed a bunch of you on the #hihcrew. I also found out today that I have been spelling Peloton wrong this whole time. I was spelling it Pelaton. I never noticed it was o vs a.
Today I have a 10 minute legs and glutes workout with Adrian and then a full body stretch lined up.

Did the HCOTF stack this morning - armpants got a shout out on the Jess Sims full body that we were doing from January 8. Assuming it's the same armpants. AM Snack: Dried mango B: English muffin topped with avocado and a fried egg L: Salad with pineapple sausage D: Baked potato with shrimp

Hello! Arm day done. Two years ago I never could have imagined using 35+ lbs dumbbells for some arm exercises, so that was a great reminder of my progress today!
I developed form sharp LLQ pain over the weekend (blamed it on work) but it got worse so I went in to see my OB yesterday. Everything looked good! I had a small cyst on the left ovary so it could be that or musculoskeletal pain. So, when do I need to tell my trainer I am pregnant? I asked my OB and I got the general advice of listen to your body, avoid exercises that increase infra-abdominal pressure, but is there anything else specific I need to know?

It's a good reminder for everyone that one day doesn't make or break us, and changing habits is hard and takes time. And we'll mess up the plan some days. And that's ok- just go back to it.

Oh girl, I see you haven’t been on the Official Peloton page on FB. People get ripped to shreds when they mention this. 😂 No, there isn’t a pause button. It’s to prevent people from pausing to rest to up their stats, I think. IDK. I think all us parents would love one! This is so bizarre to me. Are there prizes or anything meaningful awarded for leaderboard status? Or is all this just for bragging rights? Also, you’d think they could figure out a way to just asterisk someone on the leaderboard if they had paused, if that differentiation were so important. Just bragging rights! You would be shocked how many people care about their leaderboard status. There are people on the main Peloton page that have complained that 5 minute warm ups and cool downs count as rides. Like... just don’t do them then! Why the F do you care what the rest of us are doing?? 😂

My trainers/yoga teachers have always been some of the first people I told, only so that they could help me modify. Probably in the 8ish weeks range for both pregnancies. But you also should be fine if you listen to your body, and also can workout without puking (I was not so lucky!)

Walked this morning with my friend, but work is crazy so that might be it for today, especially because I'm donating blood for the first time since kids this afternoon! Hoping it doesn't take too much out of me, but fueling a little extra this morning, and planning to run tomorrow afternoon instead of tomorrow morning to give my body a bit of extra recovery time.

It's one day. Have a decent dinner and plan tomorrow better. Bailing after 3 days because of one minor issue isn't an effort in changing. You have to stop giving up because of one minor hiccup. It's not just one day, though, because these are common food items for me. Everything was planned fine, I just didn't burn much through exercise. I'll stick with it a bit longer but I'm just not into it yet. Is there a way you can track like minutes of exercise on your Garmin, but not their calorie burn estimate? Is that where you’re getting your burn estimate from? It’s so inaccurate and also doesn’t matter* but it causes you so much stress. *doesnt matter as in exercise is a small fraction of your body’s calorie expenditure in a day. I know it matters to you now; hopefully it won’t forever.

It's pretty spot on for running based on general estimates for that, I don't pay as much attention for other activities and usually round their number down. I just preferred it when I knew I was burning more because I was doing more exercise.

Leg day over here.
10 min hills ride with Jess K 20 min glutes and legs with Ben 10 min core with Jess Sims
The glutes and legs with Ben was from today (I think, or maybe yesterday -- either way it was live at midnight originally) and it was a bit different than his normal straight up basic moves so that was kind of fun. There was a lot of balance/core work in the movements he did.

I tried a walk + run today instead of a full run and it went so much better! It was really nice to end a workout feeling strong and successful instead of weak and injured like most running workouts recently.
45 minute walk and run with Matty 5 minute lower body stretch with Ben

Not much to report here. I'm keeping up with my stretches and exercises from PT. I did receive an Astym treatment on Monday as part of PT and that was a new uncomfortable feeling. I'm hoping it helps. They will do it again on Friday. This stretch of time is a good reminder to me to never ignore an injury. The amount of recovery time has been so much longer than the amount of time it took to create this mess.

I tried out a "session" on the bike this morning because one for a Cody ride was starting at the perfect time and I really liked it. It suits my super competitive nature well. I hope they keep them around after the beta test. I ended up finishing 3rd out of 47 riders on the session, so that was fun. The 1st and 2nd were way ahead of me, though. 30min pop ride w/ Cody 15min hip hop ride w/ Alex Cody’s pop ride dated yesterday? I did the same one today and barely missed a PR. I felt sluggish and didn’t want to workout at all, so I’ll take it.

Evening.
20 minute low impact ride with Kendall 20 minute hip hop run with Jess King 15 minute strength for runners with Wilpers
I can't get my speed and cadence sensor to show my speed and distance on my watch, only cadence, and I can't figure out why. It's going to bug the shit out of me.
It's also been a few years since I've done a bike to run workout. Forgot about that major muscle shift fatigue, woof.
Food has been good today despite still not knowing what I'm eating day to day. H went grocery shopping and only picked up two of the eight items I put on the list, because why would he possibly pick up what I needed when he asked for a list before he went 🙄
MIL will be here tomorrow when I get home from work, so I'm sure my dinner will be garbage food. At least I had a good day today.

Oh hi...
I took a rest day on Monday and did a short (30 min) walk with MH last night.
I got back in the groove and did my Couch to 10K session after work, clocking 2 miles.
When I got back, I did Adriene's post-run yoga. I still love my Peloton post-run stretches but I love Adriene's a bit more, especially as so far, I haven't had any lingering IT band stuff.
I added on Selena's 5 min Core (4/14/21) and those isometric holds were tough.
I finished with Day 2 of Lilly Sabri's 5 day Booty Band Challenge and I think I'm getting a bit stronger as my ass survived, despite what felt like a million glute bridges.
I did a little bit of quick stretching and called it a day.
Off to catch up on this thread.

Evening all!
20 min full body with Jess Sims, 10 min core with Robin (not a fan of the all plank 10 minutes) and Cody's 30 min pop ride from yesterday, which was enjoyable!
My legs are very tired today, they are kind of throbbing behind my knees, if that even makes sense lol. I went for a 20 min walk after dinner to shake them out a little but they just like, mildly hurt. I have not been really doing the yoga day for HCOTF, usually subbing it for something else, but I may need it tomorrow!
B - English muffin, laughing cow, turkey pepperoni - like a mini breakfast pizza lol L - leftover buffalo chicken mac n cheese D - Emily Bites slow cooker chicken and stuffing with green beans and mushrooms for veg S - chocolate hummus + pretzels and probably a little fruit

Wednesday is my active recovery day but I’m still handling my hip with kid gloves so I just did a 15 min core with Jess. I’m pretty proud of myself for being patient and listening to my body. This has always been difficult for me so it feels good. Some bathing suits I ordered from Athleta arrived today and I felt really good in them so that was also a nice bonus and motivator.

Well I made it through my benches tonight. I had what I thought was just gas, so I figured I'd just let it go as I went. It shifted and I thought oh, it's my period. Nope. No one home at the house, so I had to drive to a gas station and almost didn't make it to the bathroom. I thought maybe that would fix it but newp. So short night for me. I need to run to CVS to get some drugs to make this stop. Oof. Maybe I can finish it tomorrow.
