I just realized I need to make sure my work pants fit. I’d give it a 50 50 shot. Update: they do. I’m happy I don’t have to go shopping.

Hello!
20 min glutes/legs with Chase - used 15s for heavy and 10s for light again and felt good! I cannot get that one song out of my head though every time I hear it in this workout (the one about cocaine, lol). Then the 10 min Barre with Ally, 10 min core with Rebecca, and a 20 min pop ride with Emma (the Disney song one).
B - English muffin, turkey bacon, fruit L - leftover buffalo chicken mac n cheese + spinach salad D - turkey clubs and baked chips S - ?

Starting off the week with an interval run! Only one more week of running at noon, then my kids will be back at school in the mornings again! Still deciding whether or not to rejoin the gym but either way I’m very excited to get to run at 9am instead of 12:30.
10 minute warm up run with RK 30 minute interval run with RK 5 minute core with Emma 5 minute post run stretch with Becs

No. I have Android. I'd be really surprised if it wasn't an option on iPhone though They seem to have everything first. I agree that it is surprising but for whatever reason, they haven't added it yet! I have to imagine they are working on it though, that is a very large contingent of their subscribers that can't do it on the app. In this case, since the bike and tread is Android-based software, I bet that's why it's available in the Android digital app before the iOS app. Plus the release cycle for iOS apps is a lot longer than Android because Apple has really strict standards and a number of quality checks they do before you can release an update.

Finally caught up here. Uneventful weekend here, run, hike, some pool time, some yoga.
I ran a really good feeling 5k this morning, AND stretched afterwards (I usually just sit back down and work).

Evening.
20 minute 90's run with Selena 20 minute intervals run with Andy 20 minute yoga flow with Anna
Picked up 4.5 miles and I had another 20 minute run stacked up, but my kids got needy. I subbed in the yoga and they were very in my face the whole time, so I only half paid attention, but it got done, mostly.
My food hasn't been great today. H grocery shopped midday today so I didn't really have anything to bring for work, so I scavenged. Now I need to figure out some kind of dinner to make. I might just have a protein shake and call it a night.

Decent day overall, but I definitely fell short on the protein goal. Oh well, tomorrow’s another day. I did my 100th strength class a few days ago and I got an email from Peloton to redeem my century club tshirt. I am embarrassingly excited about this 😂 10 min core w/ Rebecca 30 min Britney ride w/ Cody 20 min glutes & legs w/ Chase

Hello! I need to get back into posting in here daily. I signed up for a 10 mile race last fall, it lined up perfectly with my training for my half. It was postponed due to COVID. Wednesday last week I got an email about packet pick up, and that the race was Sunday. Oops. I hadn't trained for it or anything. I ran it yesterday, and shaved 11 minutes off my time from the last time I ran it. I feel good today. I'm not sore or anything. I feel kind of badass. B- peanut butter sandwich, protein shake L- grilled chicken salad S- yogurt D- salmon, rice, grilled veggies That is super impressive, awesome job!

jrun2013 I can't imagine switching gears and going back in person now after being virtual all year. We've been in person since September (technically I started back in July with my students for ESY) but it took a while to get in the groove and establish protocols and work out the kinks. I do prefer teaching in person, though my students really can't be taught virtually so that's definitely a big piece of it. I do miss being able to save time on commuting, throwing in a load of laundry on my prep, or getting in a workout at lunch though.

Rest day today. I took a 25 minute walk at lunch and meant to do some stretching tonight but I didn't.
Food was excellent and within my macros. I even had room for Reese's PB Puffs cereal for dessert.

I have a surgery tomorrow at 1pm (cataract, bc I’m 85 yo 😒) and they’re putting me NPO after midnight! Ughhhh I’m dreading it already. Whyyyyy does it have to be so far in advance (I mean, I get it but I don’t have to like it). I foresee a day of grumpiness, then a shiny new lens, then a migraine from lack of food.

I meant to re-do that 80s ride today that the bike ate, but I didn't end up having time, so I did a 15 minute HIIT ride with Denis instead. It was tough but ok until the last two intervals, when he wanted 50+ resistance and 110 cadence for 35 seconds! I....cannot do that. I could only manage about 20 seconds of each interval before I had to fall off. I hate failing, I'll have to re-do that one and see if I can get better. Rest of the HCOF stack was fine, mostly re-dos right? 10 minute core with Rebecca 10 minute barre with Ally 20 minute glutes and legs with Chase cnf I'm so excited your bike is coming tomorrow! You deserve it, girl!!

I had to wait to eat yesterday until after my 1:45 appointment so they could do fasting bloodwork. I was not a happy camper, so I feel your pain. I hope the procedure goes well!! Sending you good vibes for the fasting.

Just a 20 minute HIIT ride with Sam for me this morning. I will try to get in some strength and stretching sessions during the day too. I teach until 6:30 tonight so MH is in charge of dinner. I think he’s going to make Korean rice cakes with tofu and veggies.

Good morning! I took several days off from working out recently. I've been in such a funk lately, but I set some new goals for myself and hope to be back on track. Basically, I keep skipping workouts because I feel tired, but lack of workouts just make me more run down and lethargic. I know this, yet I sometimes fall into the trap of trying to nap the tiredness away and it just never works.
So today I got my butt downstairs and did a good upper body workout. I also plan to do a short ride at some point this afternoon.

Last night I walked to close out my rings.
Tonight's workout will be a 20 minute run, and then some kind of peloton strength workout.

Hello! I did the HCOTF stack from yesterday this morning. My upper back has been super sore lately so yesterday I just did a walk to close my rings. I’ll probably lay off upper body for a couple of days too.
Food- B- egg, laughing cow, and ham on English muffin L- leftover shrimp pad Thai D- teriyaki chicken tacos, green beans

I have a full day in the car today, so I did a quick yoga workout before I get going and I’l probably do the same thing when I get out this evening.
Food is all up in the air...I had a bagel with cream cheese and some strawberries for breakfast. I’ll take a protein shake on the road. Other than that 🤷♀️

Back on track after my weekend. I was pretty good with food yesterday (even planning around dinner out with a friend, and despite being really emotional and wanting to eat/drink my feelings later that night).
Full body lift this morning, since I had a few unplanned days off I was able to really push it with weights. It felt good.
pre workout: half banana B: yogurt with protein powder, berries, almonds, kashi crunch S: one bar L: salad with grilled chicken S: protein shake D: eggplant caprese pasta

I woke up with a headache this morning, but pushed through a treadmill workout. I knew if I didn't do it I'd be mad at myself and I'd hoped that the exercise would help, but oof to the pounding in my head every time my foot struck the tread. H has been a snotty, sneezing mess for a week now so I'm hoping I'm not coming down with the same. I just feel....off. Kind of nauseous too. I'm loaded up on ibuprofen and zicam this morning.
5 min warm up run with Jess 30 min pop run with Matty 5 min post-run stretch with Becs 5 min post-run stretch with Rebecca

Morning! I need to go back and catch up. My big kid turned 5 yesterday, so it's been cake and pizza central around here. Sunday I closed my rings with spring cleaning and YWA. Yesterday we went to the national arboretum and I walked a bunch, then did the 10min core from HCOTF.

Every time we lose power, the software on my bike crashes, so I had to do a reset this morning and the system updates were taking too long. Going to have to squeeze it in today. I really need it, my heart is racing today from anxiety and I need to kill some adrenaline.

I'm playing the Peloton game and trying to hold of to hit my 100 yoga classes until live classes return next week, so I did Pilates instead. It wasn't a bad start to my day, but I think I could do more. Will for sure go for a walk (hoping work allows that to happen sooner rather than later)

I can commiserate for sure, this is exactly how i felt yesterday!! I had my consult finally and they gave me my instructions for the endoscopy/colonoscopy. a whole day of fasting plus no advil!! it's gonna be brutal and definitely migraine city. It will be nice to get answers but I am absolutely dreading the prep week and especially the prep day. This morning I was rewarded with a snow day so I didn't have to worry about getting kids ready or commuting, so I was able to jump on the Denis live ride. He killed me. It was a hard first ride back after a week omg. But I'm glad its done, onward lol.
