I had a great workout Saturday then I ran downhill on concrete sidewalks in my birks chasing after DD on her bike and messed something up in my glute/hip area. I iced and Motrin’d(making this a thing) all Saturday and Sunday. Rested Sunday and spiraled on bursitis vs labral tear vs glute injury for the majority of the day. So far today I think I feel ok? I’m taking it hour by hour and still icing and Motrin-ing (yep) out of an abundance of caution and just hoping things were tight and angry.

Hello! Leg day done. I have kind of a lighter homework week so I may try to go some Peloton rides in the evenings. Not much to say, just chugging along.

ugh, i did not run this weekend at all, i meant to do a ride when i got home last night but was so tired.
Back on the bike today and I am aiming for 5 days of core this week

Had a pretty productive weekend. Tread boot camp on Saturday plus yard work. Active recovery day Sunday with 2 mile walk on the tread plus yoga. Today my girls wanted to walk to school...only we weren't sure if we could cut through the back of the school like we normally would so we went all the way around...pretty much doubled the walk and involved a giant hill. They were troopers and I got a fair amount of steps out of the way, though! Going to do the HCOTF calendar later today...but I haven't looked at what it is yet.
AM Snack: Dried mango and dried coconut B: Yogurt w granola L: Big salad with shredded chicken D: Baked potato, veg, and pineapple sausage

I added 10min of yoga for a warm up to the HCOTF calendar and then decided I’m going to go all the way through the basics program for the rides before I attempt other stuff.
I’m heading to Louisiana to help my mom with funeral arrangements for my grandfather this evening, and I’m not sure if the hotel we’re staying at has a gym or not. I’m going to take a band so I can at least do some Madeline moves stuff while I’m there.
PW- 1/2 protein bar B- other half of the protein bar, scrambled eggs, avocado, sliced tomatoes L- baked potato w/ brisket and a salad D- stuffed peppers

Yesterday I realized that the bike did not record any output on the 80s ride with Denis I did last week (it showed up that I took it, but all the numbers were 0) so of course I deleted it from my workout history and I'm going to re-do that ride today. Damnit. Because if there's no record of you doing a workout, did you even really do it?

Hello!
I did a 20 minute ride this morning. It was Hannah F’s most recent 20 minute ride. I enjoyed it. I always like her classes.
I’m also planning on some core and a 2 mile run.
I just found out my working from home days are numbered. I have to go back in 2 weeks, so I won’t be able to fit in workouts through out the day. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted!

20 minute upper body with Ben and a 5 minute core with Rebecca today. I love these 20-minute workouts because on Mondays and Tuesdays I can only work out at lunch time so I have an hour to get my workout in and shower.

That's big news! How are you feeling about it? I’m feeling all the feelings. I’m happy to go back and see students in person, but I’m sad because I see a lot more of my kids this way. Also I commute an hour and a half a day so I’m not looking forward to that part. I’m a high school teacher and was hoping to stay home until fall. Oh well, back to it! Thanks for asking!

I have to imagine they are working on it though, that is a very large contingent of their subscribers that can't do it on the app.

Omg Andy had us doing so.many.pushups. And then Rebecca had some too and I was dying.

Happy Monday!
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Today I did Olivia’s 45 minute classic rock ride and holy moly she’s insane. I always say that but it’s true. She is like this tiny ninja torture robot. It was a really good ride though. I loved every song! I had to take the last 10 minutes as recovery. Followed it up with Robin’s shoulders and arms she dropped today. Also hard.
That’s it for today!

I did my FTP test yesterday and died. I think instead of doing the Powerzone challenge I think I’m just going to do the discover your Powerzones program since it’s less of a commitment.
Today I got a 30 minute run with Bec’s in on my lunch and I’m going to head down to the basement to do the HTCOF stack when I’m off work in 10 minutes.
Dinner is lentil chili.

Covid shot #2 has been a breeze, my stupid period finally started, I have a back off day for squats today which is kind of nice.
Food and sleep should get so much better after today. I have been a bottomless pit for like 5 days.
