I was amused at my own inability to think of Cate Blanchetts name last night so I started inventing a side story where Galadriel and Thor actually are siblings because it was back when Odin was a manwhore traveling across realms (like Kurt haha) and banged an elf in Middle Earth.

CeeBug ššš Thatās perfect! So glad they mentioned Samās helmet situation. So much of what they said was true. Zemo being feisty. Buckyās story arc. How the shield works. Who is a bad guy. I was nodding along and laughing the entire time. But like greykitty, I still love it.

I do think the different opinions are interesting and says the writers did it right. For me personally, Walker is the epitome of white male entitlement/arrogance and at the moment I'm a low point as far as tolerance for that. Oh for sure he is. I think the fact that he does it so well is what makes me enjoy the character? I donāt know. Haha. I feel like a lot of villains have been terrible in MCU and honestly one of their weaker spots in my eyes so it was refreshing I guess. Like I was bored/didnāt like/etc Thanos, Mysterio (omg Jake Gylenhaal in that role was painful and heās a good actor!), whatever her name is that Galadriel played that was Thorās sister, Jude Law, the dude from Ultron, and heck even Daddy Russell himself lol... I apparently have more of an issue with the villain casting than I thought š Best MCU minor villain casting:  |

Karliās death was just very anti-climactic. She as a super soldier died from gunshot wounds but Sharon as not-super-soldier did not š I felt that way about all of the super soldiers. All the sudden they just stopped because some guns were pointed at them...unlike all the earlier scenes. But whatever, a show's got to end. |

Just watched the Falcon & Winter Soldier Marvel Studios Assembled episode. Will watch the WandaVision one later this week.
I always enjoyed behind scenes books/shows. The FAWS episode was really worth watching for me, and now I do want to sit down and watch the series again and catch more nuances.
And it will keep me busy before Loki!

My HC will continue to be that Steve took Nat back to the past and danced with Peggy because they had Sunday dinners and lived happily ever after. Because GDI if I dont Ill never get through this show.

Oki I may be sensitive right now, full moon, PMS, Valentines Days and all that but I am just so fucking angry at what they did to the MCU. The world fucking sucks in so many ways and in reality all I ever wanted was what the first 20 minutes of AOU gave us. I hate the new Cap already, his forehead is too big even. And please correct me if I am speaking out of place or sounds terrible but giving him a black BFF was just.... like we got Wish.com Steve and Sam. And I have so many feels about Tony not going back before the snap and yet apparently leaving nothing to help the billions of people he displaced all because he didnt want to give up his kid. WHAT ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE WHO LOST THIER KIDS?!?!?! In surgeries or airplanes or car accidents or a million other things? They brought back the "blipped" people but what about the others? And then they GET NO CONSIDERSATION from banks and shit???? You havent been here for five years....yeah no shit...neither has half the population. Im sorry but this mfer helped saved the world and he doesnt even get a nod? Why is his bank account not LOADED from the Stark foundation? Maybe they explain it later I dunno. And they think they can just call some one else Cap and it will be hunky dory? 5 seconds with this guy and I can tell hes no Steve Rogers. And what fucking shield is that? thats not the broken shield from CW or the one from Endgame. They just have them laying around apparently?
I want to love this so much. But I just feel like Endgame left me so jaded I cant.

mischief there's a bigger reason the writers left Sam without funds and unable to get a loan. The show/writers are putting someone the financial and social issues black people face. It barely even scratches the surface but that theme comes up several more times in the series. Its not nearly enough but its something. Especially after George Floyd and the summer of 2020. Hope that gives you another perspective. Yes thatās sort of how I read it too as the series goes on. I mean, in theory it makes less sense because really, Pepper would not have left them all like that. She just wouldnāt. But I understand the point they are trying to make. |
