What i’d like to be up to? Go back to bed and hide from my family while watching cheesy tv all day

What I’m likely up to? Half ass entertaining the kids till we go to our friends house at 4 and I can drink and ignore them

We’re currently getting 3 crap trees between our garage and fence cut down. Hopefully that will entertain H for a bit. He’s still sick but I got him tested for covid yesterday and it was negative. The pedi gave us a prescription for cefdinir for a sinus infection.

I’d love that too. Dh took the big two to burn of some energy, so I have an hour or two to myself. Currently watching Dawson’s Creek 🙈.

We started watching Flora and Ulysses last night on Disney+. It’s pretty cute. I think your girls would like it inthekitty.

It’s finally nice here so we will be outside, maybe even have an afternoon fire in the yard.

The treadmill came and is all set up, I’m excited to have it! I need new runners so I’ve got to hit up the stores right at opening, I’ve been putting it off cause I just dont enjoy shopping in these covid times. If anyone has a good recommendation for indoor walking/jogging runners let me know.

The weather is soooo weird it was around 10 degrees last week. It’ll be around 65 next week... my hay fever is already playing up (at least that what I think it is, but I got tested just to be safe).

I really like Brooks. Adidas ultraboost are very comfy too.

Brooks are the best. I always buy a pair when they're on sale because their original price is a bit pricey for me. I just ordered these yesterday from shoes.com, half price! They fit true to my normal size.

mwhip the pics is blurry for me, is there a style name of Brooks you like? I see Adrenaline, Ghost, Cascadia?

vino I’ve had adrenaline and ghost and they’re both good shoes. I usually buy whichever style of brooks is on sale.

I used to always buy adrenalines when I ran...also always when on sale. I watched brittany runs a marathon last week and made me almost miss it. Maybe when it warms up a bit I'll give it a try again.

Morning, not much new here. I'm excited for snl clips tomorrow with duke of hastings hosting. Otherwise excited my SM and teacher cousin get vaccinated tomorrow.

Never ending painting! The floor comes in today but won’t be installed til next week. I cannot wait to get bigger toys back downstairs!!

Oh my gosh this is hysterical that you mentioned this. Last night when we had the TV on Maddie saw and ad for it and freaked out. Her whole school read it together and had a special assembly about it (I think the author came?). Every kid was given a copy of the book to keep. She was psyched they made a movie. We watched the trailer and plan to watch it soon.

Mine too! It's so annoying. It's still cold here and only FEB. Although I guess I should consider myself lucky because I used to have really bad allergies year round. I need to dig up the Zyrtec.

I think I had some adrenaline’s a few years ago that were comfy. I just bought some cascadias because I like the look of them but they aren’t as comfortable. They are actually trail shoes and I need some inserts for them.

Hi. I stayed up late to binge watch Bridgerton and now how to get away with murder.

My back is still hurt but I’m parenting today. L was really bad at school so he’s folding his laundry and putting it away.

E is destroying...I mean playing in her room.

I'm at work. I'll get my second dose in just a minute. This morning we had a great meeting of all the fun coming up this year. Basically NG medical has a lot of tasks ahead of them. We all have civilian clinics we work at but many will be pulled away for the vax mission. I'm lucky that so far it doesn't look like that will be me, but it's also frustrating they aren't relying on the active component more. So many of these docs have full patient schedules that will have to be cancelled so they can do this job for 2 months. I can't even imagine the cluster I'd return to if I were gone from my job for 2 months, just a few days and it's a shit show. Plus we're being told we'll all be in trouble soon because of stupid shit outside of our control...I've got to get out of this state and go somewhere it's more organized.

Otherwise I'm hoping a miracle happens and I get out of work in a reasonable enough time to knock out some errands afterwards that have been piling up.

Random...in one of the recent "growing up" talks I had with M (those conversations we need to have periodically about politics, world affairs, sex and puberty, internet safety, healthy relationships, etc.) I was really impressed at how grown up and mature she was talking about it. We were discussing periods and puberty more in depth than we have in the past so she had a firm grasp on it. I'm not knocking my mom, just pointing out that her and my generation was so different, but I could have never talked about those issues so matter-of-factly and without embarrassment with my mom. It was really nice.

Hi.

I worked this morning then ran to Costco. My house is falling apart and I’m ready to just sell before anything else goes wrong.

Last night M came out of his room and said he smelled something burning. Sure enough it did smell like something was on fire. We immediately hit the breaker for the furnace and checked outside and in the attic. Nothing, but the smell was so strong in the boys rooms and my room. So weird. No one can come to service it until Monday, so my house is so cold. We all slept in my bed last night with the temp- controlled space heater on.

Then this morning mh sends me a picture of the side of our house where the gutter came crashing down. The weight of the ice/snow was too much for it and it just fell. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Dis tew much. I don’t even know where to begin on that one.

On top of that, I have been trying to update my Mac for the past two days and finally figured out that I can’t troubleshoot it because I need a second Mac to connect it to. I have an appointment at the store this afternoon to get the problem solved.

The Apple store is right by Sephora, so I may hop in to treat myself to something. I need a pick me up.

My COVID test came back negative 🥳. Seriously I become such a hypochondriac, I keep doubting myself, did I just feel my throat? Do I have the sniffles? Constantly eating to see if I still taste things... The control freak in me is not handling this all to well 🙄.

Those are Adrenaline, which I've had before. Ghose was the first one I had, I’ve tried a majority of them and have only been unhappy with one style, that my mom got me off Amazon. Looking back at them, I could tell they wouldn't be as supportive. If you have one close and are comfortable, drop into a running store and get fitted. Then you will know what style you like best and can look online for last seasons designs.

But I would typically say, you can't go wrong with Brooks.

Hey. H went to the neighbor’s house to play this morning while S made Dh and I “food” from her play kitchen. I talked S into playing outside with me since it’s a balmy 20 degrees. Before we came back in I put V in her snowsuit and brought her outside. She wasn’t super impressed, but was fine with it. I set her down on the porch right next to me, she rolled to her side and immediately face planted in snow. She was mad about that, lol, but I laughed. Right now I am laying with V, she’s napping, and everyone else is watching flora and Ulysses in the living room.
