Since L goes to a religious school it’s been a little hard being too open with it because of the school and not wanting him to question them about it. We do talk and also help celebrate Hanukkah with my Godparents. We talk about various religions and he has read some books and asked a ton of questions. So I’m letting him take lead on that front.

Team "no one knows for sure, but everyone has their own beliefs and that's ok" regarding religion/afterlife.

I try to be that concise with C but he drills down his questions - what do different people believe? Then when we get into one it’s a lot of why, who, when did they start believing this... The Jesus and God parts are particularly challenging with God being Jesus’ father but not a person. I prefer to keep to social justice topics.

We went snow tubing today and it was awesome! Worth the time I spent trying to get tickets. This was our busiest weekend in many many months and I’m exhausted!

We spent hours outside today pulling the sled behind the golf cart. I'm exhausted. And I hurt my ankle trying to surf while being pulled... but it's warming up starting tomorrow and who knows when we'll get this much snow again so I wanted the kids to enjoy it one last time.

Just ordered Chinese food. Nothing exciting, just our norm. I did have to order a slice of cheesecake to bribe Cadence though.

Went to the old office to grab things we forgot, trash cans and random odds and ends. Stopped at a grocery store because Cadence wanted bread. I'm, ok. Most of the bread was gone from the shelves. No bread, no frozen foods, produce section was decent. But, we managed to get enough to get us through the week while the stores restock.

Hello.

I worked this morning and when I got home I laid down for a quick nap and woke up 5 hours later. Whoops!

I was going to try the tik tok pasta tonight, but realized I grabbed the wrong cheese at the store. So I made spaghetti and meat sauce instead because easy.

Tomorrow I don’t have to work and both boys are back in school. Praise be! Cannot wait.

Oooh wedding. Can you PM me one of the codes. If M grows anymore anytime soon, the joggers I just bought him in December from there will be too short. 😩 I need to get him the next size up just in case or for next fall.

wedding our lab Java started excessively drooling this afternoon. She’s not a drooler. We looked in her mouth and she appears to have a lesion/sore on the roof of her mouth towards the back. I’ll be taking her to the vet in the morning, but anything we can do in the meantime to help her? She is acting fine, and has ate and drank normally. Actually probably drinking more than usual. But the amount of drooling is impressive...and gross.
