I did another 30 min scenic ride today, but this time I did it on YouTube. They have some surprisingly nice long rides. But the one I was on had a lot of hills, and every once in a while, the simulation would have to pull over so cars could pass lol. I also witnessed a close almost accident (uphill, windy road and a truck was trying to pass a car illegally) and ran over something dead in the street that was blurred out. My eating hasn’t need horrible but I had some meatballs for dinner that I immediately regretted. This sounds super amusing while riding. I was like, whelp, they say it's supposed to be realistic 🤣

I did a 20 minute Robin ride on Peloton and 20 minutes of core. I weighed myself yesterday and I gained about half a pound. So that blows. Hopefully I will be back trending downward next week. a half pound is the difference of having to take a poop or drinking a lot of water. Ignore it.

Still a bit disheartening when my weight loss is mostly moving in half poundish increments. I took my measurements this week too so hopefully I can track those better than weight over time.

I did an hour of circuits while I watched the vote.
If I can get the cleaning done that I need to I'm going to hop on the treadmill and just walk bc I don't feel like the workout was hard enough.

I’ve been walking 2-3 miles every day this week. And seeing all sorts of wildlife - mostly deer, but herons, foxes, and turtles too! I’m so happy that spring is in the air.

I did a quick ski in the morning. It’s a good break from running and was gorgeous out. I think I get a better return on my leg muscles with a run instead of an hour ski session, but I enjoy the views.
I’m going to try to work on my weekend eating. I am over meal planning by the time we hit the weekend. That leads to not great food choices. I also have limited myself to the Thin Mints we have in the house. I had a couple excessive days with our supply.

I don’t weigh myself as a general rule, and the app didn’t save my measurements for some reason 🙄, but I’ve been pleased with the first two weeks of the Every Mother app. My abs definitely feel firmer and I think look a bit better. I’m actually kind of surprised at how quickly it feels like they’re coming together. If I ever get brave enough I’ll share some before and after photos.
There are 8-20 minutes of core exercises each day, and then it alternates with either HIIT, upper- or lower-body workouts, or yoga, 15-20 minutes. The yoga instructor is the only one I can’t stand (just not my style at all) but I’ve subbed Peloton yoga of the same length and kept it moving.
Overall it doesn’t always feel like quite enough movement, so I’ve been throwing in a 20-30 minute walk, treadmill run, or Peloton ride many days.
This is actually one of the longest workout streaks I’ve ever had! It doesn’t seem like much, but for me the consistency is pretty huge.

It's so hard when you have at least 100 boxes sitting in your house at any given time.

I did BBM day 77 today - it was upper body strength and a 40 minute yoga with Adriene. And a short dog walk. My body is so sore lately but overall I’m feeling good. I haven’t been sleeping super well this week which is making everything harder.

Yesterday I learned that my treadmill has been docking me about 0.25 mph in pace and about 12% of my mileage. Now I understand why running 4 miles on the tread felt so much harder than running 4 miles outside!

I swear mine does this, but I haven’t been tech savvy enough to solve it.

I ran outside this morning for the first time in ages. The air felt like it was trying to kill me (no idea why because the air quality was good), but overall it felt awesome.

Did a quick 30 minute HIIT workout and I saved a show to watch later while walking on the tread. I like Bodyfit by Amy on YouTube if anyone else wants free workout videos.

I very easily could’ve called yesterday a wash, just one of those days where other things took precedence. But I decided to try, which looked like: doing my floor core exercises and short yoga video while DD read her chapter book homework to me, and a 15 minute scenic ride while DS came in and cried, “I wanna exercise, too!” It was not at all relaxing, but done. 😅
I also bought a jump rope, which I’m oddly excited about. I had fun jumping a bit yesterday, too. I think I might get a couple for the kids’ Easter baskets.

I have been walking the dog diligently 2.5-3 miles a day. I’m up about a half mile daily on average since January because of the warmer weather and sunshine. I’ve been having IBS issues ever since my c-section and I’ve found that a daily walk is one of the things beyond diet that helps most to reduce symptoms, so I’ve taken to calling it my Daily Constitutional.

I’ve done absolutely nothing this week. I finally went to urgent care today and got dx’d with a sinus infection so I’m going to rest up and go again harder next week.

I hope you're feeling better soon, lemondrop. I have done nothing. I'm so tired and headachey this week. All I want to do is sleep.

I've been off all week. I've missed four days this month already. That's usually the most rest days I take in a single, at most. And it's only the 12th,so I feel like a giant slacker. Bleck.
I'm hoping to get 6 miler in this weekend, preferably tomorrow since I ate junk all day at PD and then agreed to pizza and ice cream for dinner.

Nm, we went for our nightly mile walk with the dogs and my son insisted he walk. 🙄 about 100 feet down the street and he decided he wanted to be held, so I carried his 28lb toddler ass the whole dang way. I’ve never missed a stroller more.

Food is all prepped and ready to go for the week.
I'm shooting for a 10k run after school tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Went to an indoor playground and fell off this slanted tire spinny thing. My body hurts. Being nearly 40 and fat is no joke. 😆
