4.5 mile run 20 min Year of Yes ride w/ Tunde 15 min barre w/ Ally
Hugs and good thoughts to everyone struggling today, whether it is physically, emotionally, or mentally. Good work taking care of yourself, especially when it isn't easy.

Peloton users: do we receive an email with our yearly stats? Miles biked/ran? Minutes spent in each activity? Trying to decide if I should waste time going through past rides to determine total mileage? I can’t figure out how to see beyond 30 days on my bike screen. My google search turned up a few suggestions. If you go on the browser to workouts, there is a download workouts button. That will compile it on an excel sheet and you can sort by workouts type and date and then autosum the mileage. They do usually have an email of some sort though!

I got out for 3.5 today. My hip/ lower back is bothering me, so I took it pretty easy, and then did a 20 minute low impact ride. Tacos for dinner tonight!

Happy Saturday!! I can't believe it's only Saturday. This holiday "break" has been so long!
Welcome to all the new members!
I may not have enjoyed the strength workout yesterday but I did wake up pretty sore today! My legs were pretty wrecked today but it felt good to cycle anyways. I did Cody's New Year countdown ride and followed that up with a 10 minute arms with Olivia and then like an hour of volleyball with DD. I've been so thankful for these sunny and nice days while we are in quarantine.

I got in 30 min on the treadmill this morning at a nice easy pace. I’ll walk to pup in a bit but that’ll be it for exercise today. Food is unplanned today but has been healthy so far...just a snacky kind of lazy day filling up on some hard boiled eggs, leftover steak, some raw veggies, nuts, etc.

I spent the morning taking down my Christmas decorations and doing some organizing. Then I put in about 3.3 miles on the treadmill. It was slow. I did a 20 minute beginner HIIT run and then another walk/run. I really need to get new shoes. Mine are falling apart and I have logged too many miles on them. My calf muscles have been getting sore when running and I think part of it is due to my shoes. I would like to go to a running store and get fitted for shoes, I just need to find time to do it.

It was driving me crazy that I couldn’t find a way to see my annual results.

Hi all, I'm new. I figure the new year is as good as time as any to jump in. I was part of the March 17 BMB on TCF and a part time lurker here. I live in the midwest with my 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son. I started on my fitness journey about 2 years ago and added jogging/running about a year ago. I completed a virtual 5K this year and am looking forward to getting to complete one in person at some point this year. I've been so inspired by all the ladies on this board, and I figured it was time for me to jump in.

Hello and happy Saturday! I went cross country skiing today for the first time in a long time. Got 2 miles in and it was so pretty outside. It felt really good but I’m betting I’ll be sore tomorrow.

Or it could just be my brain failing me. 😊

30 minute tread bootcamp with Jess 10 minute core with Olivia 10 minute arms toning with Sam 20 minute glutes and legs strength with Selena
I went to a local running store to get some new sneakers but they were out of my size in my shoe. So, long story short I walked away with some new Hokas. I switched up my workout to only be a 30 minute bootcamp so I could see how the shoes felt. I’ll do another 30 tomorrow and call it even.
The arms class with Sam was really good. I don’t typically enjoy boxing moves with weights but I really enjoyed how he taught that. The core class was intense.

I just got done running 3.5 miles. I only planned to do 20 minutes, and it was a rough start, but I got in a groove once I got going and the kids were playing nicely so I stayed on a while longer.

45 minute marathon pace run with Becs yesterday that went really well. Today was just a 45 minute walk with Rebecca to get the dog and I some fresh air before tomorrow’s long run. I loathe January but hoping to throw myself into exercise as a distraction. I hate January too but this year I'm PUMPED because Inauguration. That is definitely true! I tried to make a list of things to look forward to this month and January 20th was the only thing on the list. I’ve got my pink bubbly ready and waiting to celebrate my MVP (Madam Vice President).

Popping into this thread really made me consider what I want to do NOW, as opposed to waiting until my birthday next month.
So, here are my daily goals for January
- Drink my weight/2 in OZ of water.
- Add a large serving of fruit or veggie to every meal (as in, an entire bell pepper or entire cucumber). I legitimately enjoy raw veggies, so I have no excuses here.
- No snacking after 8:30pm. Nothing good is eaten late at night, y'all.
- Be in bed by 10:30 every night. I function the best in the morning, and the best when I have sleep. My depression tells me to stay up later, and it's bad for me.
I made all this up into a nifty graph chart and have it printed out so I can color in each goal accomplished each day. Seeing it in black and white will really motivate me, I think.

Doubled up today to get current on the MBF calendar. Full body, then Power Ignite. Hut up our winter farmer's market and then lunch and a little shopping. Tried the premier protein cereal for breakfast. It was pretty good. 20g of protein per cup. Cauliflower taco and steak tacos for lunch Mango chicken from the Thai place for dinner.

The new shoes talk reminds me that I just hit 400 miles on mine, so I am due for another pair! I still have some money on a gift card to my local running store, so I’ll try to head there at some point this week. Last time I strayed from my Mizunos and got ASICS, but I think I am going to go back to my old favorites.

Hi all! I haven't posted since my D17 BMB but loki inspired me to de-lurk and join you, as I've been following along here for a while. At the beginning of 2020 I was 2 months postpartum and certain that by the end of the year I'd be feeling "normal." Ha. A lot of it had to do with quarantine (not having any motivating travel or event plans, booze, not as much city walking, uninterrupted access to home snacks) and I also think a lot had to do with sliding into my late 30's and my body reacting differently to habits I used to have. I've also begun to notice a lot of stiffness and loss of flexibility. When I work out I mostly do fitnessblender HIIT and strength workouts and Yoga with Adriene. I want to prioritize using the former to really work up a sweat most every day, and the latter to focus on stretching and flexibility. I also want to add 1-2 outdoor walks a day, and focus on eating FAR more vegetables. Looking forward to the community and accountability I know this thread can provide!

I did a 30 min scenic “run”. I wish Peloton had a just walk option cause I definitely did not run on that one.

But a just walk option without the actual class part of it? I wanted to do it without the instructor and to listen to my own music.
