My first 2 sewing machine projects. The brighter color was the first try and it already has a hole in the back from stepping on the pants leg. Not perfect but better than a raggedy hole at the heel. @zweber

I finished my pocket scarf for myself this morning. I love it. So glad I can wear it during this crazy cold snap. Not sure what I'll do next. My boys were wanting blankets so I pulled out the blankets I did for each of them when I was pregnant and that made them happy for now. Maybe I will try a full-size afghan for the couch.

How do you do that @zweber??? Like for real. What type of yarn, what size hook, and what patterns do you like? Bc I keep looking at stuffy patterns and getting overwhelmed and not trying. Your animals are soooooo cute!

Your animals are soooooo cute! for the last two stuffies i used Baby Bee adore-a-ball yarn. it’s soo baby soft. it says to use a 9mm hook but i use a 4.5mm to make my stitches tighter. any amigurumi pattern will work. they’re all pretty much exactly the same! magic circle and then basic stitches.

I need to make some time for crocheting and/or sewing soon. I've been too busy with other things and not making time for me. I need to fix that.

Does anyone have 6 metal 16” length fixed circular knitting needles that they love? The brand I prefer only makes them as interchangeable in size 6, and their set makes it too large for the hats I make and I find the 4.5” needles too big in general for hats when using interchangeable sets. The one set of wood ones I tried, I wasn’t a fan of (clover).

The needles are 4" with three different cable lengths to make 16″ (40 centimeter), 22″ (56 centimeter), and 30″ (76 centimeter) circulars. Needle sizes range from 2 to 15, so they're great for so many projects.

I think it's awesome, but thankful I haven't needed to use it yet! I see they make a 12" circular that isn't interchangeable: www.chiaogoo.com/circular/?&SingleProduct=61

I found they make a 16” size 6 non change whatever circular and ordered that Tbh, my favorite right now is the hooks and loops from michaels for knitting, but I prefer their fixed circulars than the removable tip ones. I also have multiple set of knit picks changeables. None of them are a fave 🤦🏼♀️ However, clover ergonomic forever on crochet hooks 😂

The one set of wood ones I tried, I wasn’t a fan of (clover). I picked up knitters pride zing (different size but they have a wide range) that was surprisingly good and I think $6. It was out of desperation because I totally fucked a 32 inch cord up magic looping it badly, but I think that will be my go to brand. I love the knitters pride dreamz line. It’s all I buy. I only knit on circular needles and double points (short if I can) as needed. I have a set of their interchangeable which are also good.

My cropped sweater with the plant motif is being blocked right now. I have to seam the body and sleeves (bleh) and then add the neck ribbing. If it’s dry when I wake up, I should be able to finish it tomorrow 🤞

I got both the chiacoo and knitter’s pride karbonz circulars in size 6 today. I spent intermittent periods of starting hats and taking them out, play with both sets. Both are nicer than the ones I had been using, but the karbonz are the *only* set I have found that I don’t struggle with getting the first row of the hat going (same number of stitches on each, same tightness, I think). We’ll see how they hold up with more use as I make a lot of hats (it’s the only thing besides scarves I can knit lol), but for now, I think we have a winner for baby hats 😂
Your random for the evening 🙊😅
