I took pics of the kids last night and am trying to decide which layout I like the best for our Christmas cards.
Then I need to actually get some work done.

I’m at work and some of our team members (bigger team) who were laid off are coming in. I’m trying to avoid the one who feels like I took his job away from him.

Morning! H is at school, n is online and I’m sitting with my leg up rotating ice and heat. I didn’t have a chance to post yesterday but I saw the discussion about getting old (while I was waiting at the tmj specialist no less 🙄). Seriously, I am falling apart. I did something to my knee last week- like sat on the couch with my legs tucked up, and It’s gotten worse and worse and I can hardly walk today. Going up stairs is torture and every time I moved in bed I wanted to scream. Soooo I have I chiro appt today but I don’t know if he’ll be able to help. Do I really need to see an ortho because hurt myself sitting on the couch? Embarrassing....
Anywho...after my appt N is getting her ears pierced. I’m about 25% confident she’ll go through with it. Lol. She says she wants it done, but I can tell she’s nervous. Then she’s requested burgers for dinner, so I can leave Dh in charge of cooking, yay!

Had pt bright and early this morning. Then any relaxation and pain relief went away as soon as I walked in the front door. School ipad wasn't working, cat food spilled all over the floor, Cadence traipsing around in a short summer skirt that should probably go in the donate pile at this point and her hair questionably brushed. My body immediately tensed and was filled with the stress of "you need to handle all of these things and get ready for work". So while trying to fix the ipad Cadence kept shoving the note from the elf in my face to read, I told her to wait more than once and then I grabbed it, crumbled it up and threw it across the room. She exploded, I got frustrated, got dressed for work and left. I'm now at work an hour early and its Wednesday, which is when I normally bring her to the office with me, but of course not today.
So, hopefully, I can get past this morning's insanity and calm down because my shoulder and neck are basically throbbing at this point.
So if anyone finds that redo button, that would be great.

slenle, coming from someone who broke their foot while walking in place, yes, getting old is a bitch. It might be a sciatic issue. Have you tried any of those type of stretches? I know when I'm having knee pain like that its actually coming from there.

At least for now Giphy access has returned at my work. It's a hump day miracle.  But I'm still at work so there's that.  A good non-holiday related movie on Netflix is Adrift. I really enjoyed it. Girls loved their Mrs. Claus gifts last night. I work at my other job this weekend which always puts a damper on my whole week (I feel too damn old for 6x10s) but another miracle came through and due to the Rona raging they came to their senses and we're splitting in-person days so I get to work remotely Sunday. Hallelujah. Considering that the last stat I knew was that 1/70 soldiers in my state's Guard has the Rona (and that was before Thanksgiving), definitely a wise choice. ETA: Their gifts were slipper socks (mostly for me because I'm sick of them cold-feeting me), pajamas that came with a matching doll pajama, and a boy Lol. We laughed at their tiny penises. |

klong11 I hope your day gets better! I had a dentist appointment this morning, then grabbed my Christmas cards. Getting ready to get on the elliptical now. Hoping to hear from the washer repair guy...when I called yesterday, they said the part would be in yesterday or today. I really need my washer fixed...

mwhip, hoping it gets fixed ASAP. I would probably be buried in a mountain of dirty clothes without one for very long. Anecdote: When my sister's washer broke she took her dear sweet time getting it fixed because she had my BiL drop off all her laundry at my mom's who would wash and fold it all. This went on for like a month.

Morning, busy day today. My SIL’s both came over, we kept windows open, kept distance and they wore masks, it still feels surreal sometimes!
In my family it is tradition to give people a gift basket with a present for each of the ten first days after a baby is born. We received 6 baskets. It looked like I had a very very nice baby store in my nursery until this afternoon. I made cute pics of baby girl surrounded with all the presents from each basket and will make them into ‘thank you’ cards. It took me 2.5 hours to take all the pics, I’m exhausted, so I decided to order pizza in stead of cooking 🙈.
I also got the best gift from a friend who figured correctly that we have everything under the sun and more, a gift certificate for family pics!

One of my majorly personality disordered coworkers is pushing my extreme patience this morning. Another reason I want full telework. When she goes off on her tirades I cope better by email, when she pops in my office I start grinding my teeth and it's all I can do to deal with her craziness.   |

I played supermarket sweep in the toy aisles of Walmart. Josie wants a doll called Barbie extra, and of course they had all of the varieties except the one she wanted (who is a super cool looking skateboarder with freckles, blue hair, and two cats.) I got her one that has a little puppy dog Jeep but definitely keep looking.
At this point, I have no idea what I purchased for the kids because I have been buying since October and stashing then in odd spots in the house like MH’s office and the garage. I’m going to have to go through them in case I need to balance things out.

Hi!
Another busy day at work for me. I feel like I always have errands to run after work these days, either returns, random grocery stop, gas, pick up orders. Always. Something. It would be nice to just go home and chill for a bit before having to cook/clean/get ready for the next day.
Whew... sorry for that little rant.

It ended up with C bawling b/c i asked for a "pretty smile", and B looking like a deer in headlights. flamingo, ha! I actually think that would be the perfect 2020 card with some type of quip to go along with it. lahdeedah, I feel you girl. I hope you get some true R&R soon. wineallthetime, yay! That's good news. guster and lahdeedah me three. I've been shopping since JUL so I know there's random stuff all throughout my closet. Since I get to work from home SUN and can likely finish everything I need to do SAT, I might try to tackle it then and start wrapping. I need to separate out Santa/parent gifts. Normally our big celebration with my family is Christmas Eve, but due to Rona we won't be doing that this year so I'll designate some of them Christmas Eve presents to keep up the tradition and spread out the excitement a little.

Hi!
It's cold here this week..which I love, makes me more in the mood to shop, etc.
My mom and I ran errands together this morning for some odds and ends. The kids and I shipped a Christmas box to DH back in November but it's almost time to send part 2, so I needed some things for that.
Today was B's weekly early dismissal so he's already home and the kids are drinking hot chocolate, so maybe I can have a few minutes of quiet? Probably not but one can dream.
