klong11 Sorry for the rough start today.

slenle yep, I sit with my knees folded under me on the couch, too. Every now and then if I’m sitting for too long, getting out of that position is like whoa. I’ve also always been able to eat whatever I want with little weight fluctuation. Well this year I’ve realized that is no longer the case. 😫 Time to start being more active and doing less emotional eating.

inthekitty I may have to think about that this year. Maybe open gifts from the grandparents Christmas Eve so they can play with those before the excitement of all of the other gifts.

I did a couple of hours of work but then a migraine that has been brewing since Monday set in. I put in leave and slept for a few hours. It is better but still there. I’m glad C is going to aftercare so I can rest longer.

It was probably a good thing to take a day anyway. I had a really bad panic attack out of nowhere Monday night. I haven’t had one since April and it caught me off guard since I was just reading a book in bed. I’ve also been having a lot of Covid anger about non essential travel and people not wearing masks. Then yesterday I was really overly angry at a coworker who is stepping on my toes a bit. I need to let go of this anger. I’m not going to change the COVID crisis and can only do my part. And the coworker thing is definitely a mountain made out of a mole hill. I took a super long walk yesterday and am going to plan that or a bike ride in every day since we haven’t been able to bike/walk to school as much due to rain. I’m hoping that and some CBT exercises will help.

wedding, my friend/coworker dropped his phone off to him today and said he talked normally! We haven't talked to him though and knowing him he hasn't even turned his phone on. His phone is also a blackberry with half the buttons missing 🤣

I'm so sorry you're struggling. I hope the day off does wonders for your mental health. We are here if you need to talk. I know anxiety very well, unfortunately.

I ran some errands this morning after both boys were off to school. I came back and got my house significantly cleaned up. Its been a disaster for 2 weeks. Then while Mallory napped when I got J from school I was able to make progress on work. Need her to take a second nap so I can finish up. Hoping my Christmas cards show up tomorrow so I can work on those.

Hey. V has been very needy today so I haven’t gotten a lot done. My hallmark ornament order arrived so I got the one for my niece wrapped and then hung ours on the tree. After I picked up S from school we went and looked at puppies at a local pet store. They are so dang cute, if only DH would cave and let me get one. DH said he thinks he’s going to be pretty late tonight so that’s fun.

wedding, I'm sorry about the anxiety and I hear you on the anger. It gets really old to see so many people not care. For me it's especially aggravating when there's light at the end of the tunnel with a vaccine on the way, and yet people don't want to follow the guidelines for a little longer to literally save lives. *sigh*

Hiiii! I got the cards in the mail today, a good 3+ weeks after we got them. I also forced the issue and got the lights on the bushes but wow is DH unhelpful. Until explicitly asked to help, he'd just stand there watching me try to unravel the nets. Between him and a co-worker who is pissy because he's being taken off the team (the writing has been on the wall), I have been practicing my fake pleasant face all day while internally screaming. FUN.

I'm sorry you're struggling wedding. It's understandable but I know that doesn't actually help. My work is offering everyone up to 16 sessions of some virtual therapy for free and I want to squeeze in a session or two before year end. This year has been the worst from the jump.

I decided that I want to wait on a cat until after Christmas. DH is still not on board but I’m an adult and can get a cat if I want. On a related note, my sister adopted the cutest German Shepard pup at the humane society last weekend. They are still deciding on a name. Their other GS, Lexi, is tolerating her and getting used to sharing her house.

Sane here. And most dont keep them there, they do adoption days twice a month.

I was feeling good, milk had slowed way down and I wasn't filling up anymore. And Then my damn period showed up and I guess the hormones threw everything off because I'm super full again and hurt sooooo bad.

There's a puppy mill puppy store like 15 minutes from me. People are always trying to shut it down but have yet to be successful. All she sells is designer breed tiny dogs that look ill. Its sad.

She got her ears pierced! I’m honestly surprised she went through with it. She cried a bit and said she didn’t want to do the second one, but knew she had to. After it was all done she said it wasn’t as bad as she expected.

I went to the Chiro and it actually helped my knee, thank goodness. Hopefully it won’t bother me in my sleep and then hopefully I’ll be good to go tomorrow.

The coyotes are so vocal in the woods in front of our house tonight. My dogs are on edge and won't sleep.
