Just got home from our two month appointment. I forgot just how many vaccines that one entailed. Woof, poor baby. He's currently sleeping on me and feels warm 😞

I'll remember that for our appointment coming up. Having a fussy day here. I just drove around to get her to finally nap and as soon as I pulled back in the garage her eyes flew open. 😂

I keep trying to pump to start a stash for daycare and every time I try at night she wakes up. Also today we went to run errands (pick up groceries/lunch) and she lost it in the car so that was fun.
B is finally coming around and getting excited for baby sister.
But for real when will I get to eat a meal without having a baby glued to me?

The only time I can put her down is when B is in the bath and H holds her or puts her in the swing for 15 min. 5pm- bedtime is cluster feeding central.

How is sleep going for you guys? We were getting one decent stretch (3-4 hours) at the beginning of the night, then up every 2 hours but back down easily.
The last week she's been up every 1.5-2 hours, doesn't want to be set down and is extra hard to get back to sleep. I'm really hoping it's just a phase. My first was a horrible sleeper and I was really hoping not to repeat that.
She's 6 weeks.

Then it's every 1-2 hours after that. Getting him down for bed is difficult though. He cluster feeds for a good two hours and no matter how asleep he is if you set him down he snaps back awake. So it takes work, but it pays off. He'll be 2 months on the 30th.

We just make bedtime the same time for all three kids; 8pm. H deals with girls and I deal with the baby.

But cluster feeds for a couple hours before he goes down for the night. He was 6 weeks on Thursday.

What time are you all using for bedtime? J wakes up at 7:45 but we have to leave for daycare to drop off B around 7:30. Naturally she wakes up screaming while H is trying to work and I’m gone which gives him anxiety I tried to put her down at 6:45 instead of 8 tonight and here I am at 9 back in here for the 3rd time.

We start trying around 7:30 when she seems sleepy. I can get her down fine in the crib initially, but lately it's like 15-20 minutes later she's up screaming. Then screams straight through no matter what we do until 9:30 when she passes out. I tried 6:30/6:45 a few times in case she was getting overtired, but same result. I'm ready for this fussy period to be over.

I’m in here for the 4th time now and have already cried once tonight. I’m exhausted. H freaks out during the 4th trimester because she (and b) basically start screaming if anyone but me tries to do anything. Also he keeps lecturing me about putting her down to nap but it’s hard when they last like 15 minutes sometimes and other times I know we are getting ready to run an errand.

Yes these few months have been rough with all three of mine. I strongly believe it's okay to do whatever we can to survive these first few months! Figuring out naps and sleep schedules can come later. Hugs to you tonight!

I figure she’s starting daycare at 8wks (hold me!) and they will get her sorted out. Also not ready for that. B only went part time until he was 4 months because we couldn’t get a spot.

He goes to bed at 8 just like the girls. That means we swaddle and settle in around 8, but he doesn't fall asleep and stay asleep for a bit. He's a tough nugget to get down. He wakes sometime in the 7am hour for the day. Besides this we do naps and feeding on demand. I can't with trying to schedule a newborn for sleep beyond a bedtime.

My OB and I talked yesterday. She upped my zoloft and extended my leave until 12/23. That means I won't actually go back to work until 1/4 but I'll be back on paper and get full pay for the holidays instead of my current half pay.

I started back on my Zoloft about a week ago. It's so hard for me to tell what is caused by my actual anxiety and what is from the lack of sleep making me feel so off.

I'm having a hard time separating my PPD from covid anxiety. My OB said if she could write me out for the whole school year she would, but that would be questionable.

DD just sleeps whenever and wherever, usually on my chest or in her swing.
The hospital misspelled her name. So I have to deal with that whole mess and I'm stressed to the max already.
I need to get back on my celexa. I went off of it because my first OB wanted me to if I felt like I didn't need it but man oh man these PP days have me STRUGGLING.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time too beenthere. Based on our talk about sleep when H fell asleep on me just now (6:30) I tried putting her in her crib for the night. Lasted 5 minutes. 🤣

I’m lurking but our hospital put my birthdate wrong on DD’s birth certificate paperwork they submitted and i was so, so irritated that I can imagine Id be at epic rage levels if it was my kid’s name that was wrong. I’m sorry Also it looks like I will not be having an October baby unless something changes in the next 48 hours 🤷🏻♀️

Me: So excited to be done with my final pregnancy, and to be able to invest more time in a healthier, stronger body. Also me: Orders literally a dozen baking mixes and jars of frostings via Target drive up, so I can constantly stress-bake treats. 🤦♀️ I ran 3.5 miles today then went to Target and promptly bought two packs of oreos and ate like half on the drive home. Oops.

I just found our deep freezer unplugged. I hadn't pumped that much yet but had about 40oz in there. I checked and it was up to 40 degrees. I have to toss it, don't I? 😭😭😭
My husband is working on the basement and he said he unplugged it 'for a minute' Sunday and forgot to plug it back in.

If I remember correctly, as long as it’s not100% thawed and there are still some ice crystals in the milk, it *should* be safe to refreeze. If not, I’m so sorry! kellymom.com/hot-topics/frozen-milk-power-outage/There weren't any. It was 40° so like it was in the fridge.
