We're just going to give her bottles tonight and I'll pump. We need to practice bottles more before daycare anyway.

I’m so over this exclusive pumping gig. So over it. 😫 DD2’s appointment to get her tongue and lip ties released is next week (finally!) and I’m really hoping we’re able to figure out nursing once that’s done. We’ve tried it a few times lately with a nipple shield, so it’s less painful for me, but doesn’t seem to be an efficient means of actually eating for her. DS won't use the shield anymore and his latch still sucks like 50% of the time, so it's a gamble if nursing will hurt or not at this point. He get a formula bottle like once or twice a day because my nipples still hurt like it's day two, not month two. fem I'm sorry about your stash. I haven't put much away yet either but it's still an awful loss.

I still haven’t offered a bottle yet. I know I need to but I hate pumping so most of my stash is from the haaka. Also, I am hoping she takes a bottle other than mam like B did because there were like a trillion parts to each of those.

My last one never took a bottle. DH had to pick her up at lunch, drive her 10 minutes toward my work and I'd meet them in a parking lot and feed her. Trying really hard not to repeat that!

DH had to pick her up at lunch, drive her 10 minutes toward my work and I'd meet them in a parking lot and feed her. Trying really hard not to repeat that! We’re using Mam bottles over here too. They’re the easiest for her to drink from with her ties, so the extra parts are worth it for the efficiency of eating. With all of my other 3 babies, I didn’t continue to pump and offer bottles at all after we got over the hump of newborn feeding/supply struggles. So they refused bottles the rare times it would’ve been nice for them to take them. I think this time around, I’ll try to make a point of maintaining some bottle proficiency so I can get a break once in a while. That’s why we had to use them with B. I have a bunch of them, but I’m really hoping we can go Avent and not have the parts + works with Spectra pumps
