What are you ladies doing for father's day? I know we are grilling out so DH got steaks to cook. We have a lot of cabbage in the garden so I'll probably fry that with some bacon and onions. I'm wondering if there's an appetizer that would be good that we could eat? Prosciutto wrapped melon and Deviled Eggs are two things that are coming to mind at the moment. Also, anyone have a W30 potato salad recipe?

pivot we are going to be grilling with my family. I'm not sure what food will be there so I think I'm just going to bring a turkey burger. Not sure about sides yet. I'm on day 11 and really want popcorn. With pounds of butter. Sigh.

@rosegold Popcorn does sound amazing.
I brought the Costco smoked pulled pork that's compliant for my lunch today. Will report back with how it is. I never got to try it for dinner whatever night I was supposed to have it.

Day 18!!
This has been a week, I'm so excited it's over. H asked for mexican, and a bike ride for fathers day. I can have carnitas on salad there with avocado. But no margs, and what is a life without margs?
B- same old same old L- chorizo and hard boiled eggs D- chicken schwarma at the pool pending rain.

Day 14!
I've had some cravings this weekend but got through it. I need to meal plan and go grocery shopping today, and meal prep tonight.
We are going to grill with my family for a late lunch so I will bring a turkey burger to throw on. Probably a light dinner (salad) since we are doing lunch at like 2.

Day 28
I made from scratch cinnamon rolls for DH this morning & I didn't even get to have one 😭 I only make them for FD his birthday and Christmas. I might freeze one for after the reintro period..
We grilled steaks and had baked potatoes. I also sautéed some cabbage with Peterson's bacon & onion. It was amazing.

Day 21- I am so bored of food. Thinking about it, cooking, eating. Oh well.
I did pick out what I am having at the DC gtg brunch that is compliant, and I stayed strong at a mexican restaurant yesterday. I don't think I've ever not had chips while at a mexican restaurant....
B- Sausage and eggs, H is making my egg bake that I never got around to yesterday L- Pork tenderloin, grilled pineapple and peppers, potato salad D- Burgers.

B - Eggs & chicken sausage L - Leftover burger and balsamic roasted veggies D - Going out with the girls so I'll probably have to settle on some sort of salad.

Peekaru IM SO EXCITED TOO!!!!! I feel really good but so excited for new foods. I've been getting so bored. Also excited to get on the scale tomorrow and see the difference! I took my after picture today and holy moly my chipmunk cheeks disappeared!!!! Tomorrow is legumes day. I will have an apple with peanut butter for breakfast tomorrow. I have butter beans for my veggie for lunch tomorrow and I will probably add peas in with my dinner tomorrow. I could actually eat peanut butter with all my meals tomorrow. I miss peanut butter so bad. Maybe even more than bread.... Almond butter just doesn't do it for me.

Way to go pivot and Peekaru!!!! I'm on Day 18 and feeling ok. I do feel like I've been in a bit of a rut as far as recipes so I'm going to take some time today to browse for new ideas.

@rosegold The facebook groups gave me a lot of good recipe inspiration. I joined like 4 or 5 and people post good recipes all the time.

pivot, Please tell me that you are having peanut butter this second. I want to hear all about today's meals! My cold has consolidated into one section of my head, I can't really hear or taste, but I don't want to die. So there's that. B- The usual. Plus the bfast sausage that was dipped in syrup that my DD fed to me. l- leftover ribs and veg d- supposed to be burgers and asian slaw. DAY 24- 6 MORE DAYS.

Ee Yes that happened to me at the beginning too. And then the opposite happened the week after. Now though I am super regular. Like the most regular I've ever been. I think my body was just in shock mode lol.

I'd like to jump in! I'm on day 4 and holy cow my stomach hurts. My body is like what are you doooooing!
I've been really hungry between meals so this morning I had a banana and almond butter for a snack and that helped sooo much.

Day 25- -b- same old same old -l- Flank steak and cabbage slaw - d- burgers that we didn't actually make last time.
