Josie only has two zoom calls today so I’m excited to just get some time to just hang out with the kids without the alarm of the next call looming over me.
MH and I have talking about sending the kids back, and we’re both having a time with it. Josie’s school has been open for almost a month, not an ounce of an issue. Charlie’s school has only been open for two weeks so we probably will give them a little more time.

Morning! I'm at work but only until noon. C has online testing of some sort at 1 so I want to be home for that because my in-laws will probably be over his shoulder yelling answers to him or something.
Speaking of my in-laws, MH told them what was going on with us. I got quite the texts from his mom saying that God will change everything and he only did it because he was probably drinking. oooook.

Morning. Working from home, all the documents are at the printers 🥳, so glad this is done! Midwives appointment late this afternoon, it’s the only appointment the kids can come and one of the few my h can too (asides first time hearing the heartbeat and discussing the birth plan), so I’m looking forward to it. Turns out we have my favourite midwife too (practise with 4 women).

Dani is staying on life support. At this point its our only hope that her body will heal while the machines are doing the hard work. There is nothing else that can be done. My mom is going on her trip. Dani told her Monday to go no matter what. So she's going to go. Its her, my dad, her 2 brothers and both my aunts. So they'll have fun. I'm sure she'll have hard moments but there's nothing she can do here. Its just baffling. Like I havent cried because I still just can't believe this is reality. Shes 31. She was fine.

GM all. Both kiddos had a makeup dentist appt today, these were from cancelled ones during the SAH order. I was worried about what would be discovered seeing as the last time they went was in November. The appt was good tho, no cavities. I did have to buy a Rx toothpaste for B and her “soft teeth” tho.
I bought a new dining room set too. It’s something we’d been meaning to do for a while and all the SAH has us feeling like we need to get around to some upgrading.

I'm so sad for evie...she was going to stay with my dad and step mom tonight, theyre camping at a lake 15 minutes from us (nice camper, not tent).
I was honest with my dad about the positive case in her class. He talked it over with my SM and they decided it was best for her not to come, since hes scheduled to have hip replacement next month.
I know it's the best choice for them, but she is going to be so sad, she has been talking all week about staying at the camper.

wineallthetime ugh. I'm so sorry they're trying to gaslight you. Not surprised because of what you said. All the heinous crap my dad did and his parents tried the same nonsense and did it with my siblings and me as well. I have a feeling vino 's description is pretty accurate. Trying to muster the motivation to ignore my angry ute and jog in the rain. Then it will be my final day of the conference and wedding. So happy for my brother. I know my mom will cry. It will be my first time seeing my family, with the exception of my mom since March.
